Loot Filter  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 0.3 Alpha QF
by: Kallak [More]
KNOWN BUG: Repair all equipped items bugs a little and spams the price in increments this will be fixed with next update

NEXT UPDATE: Will include fix above and the new filtering core once its finished which should be more sensitive and not as spammy with the messages and also have links in the messages ( I have started the testing but until I fix a small bug with potions I wont release it )

Loot Filter for ESO comes packed with a bunch of features that I will be expanding on once it is out of its alpha stage, stable and I have all the information I need.

This is the first and alpha release of Loot Filter so all comments and ideas are welcome.

You can find the settings for loot filter in your menu->settings->loot filter

Options:
  • Use Loot Filter -> turns the addon on / off
  • Loot Messages -> Displays loot messages in the chat area because auto loot gives you no info at all
  • Junk Useless Items -> Junks anything that is not for crafting / consumable / equipment
  • Auto Sell Junk -> Sell your Junk when you visit a vendor
  • Auto Repair all items including bagged items -> Repairs when you visit a vendor
  • Auto Repair only Equipped Items -> Repairs only the equipped items at a vendor

Filters:
  • By Quality ( White, Green, Blue, purple ect )
  • By Crafting Type ( Woodworking, smithing, clothy, enchant ect )
  • By Item Type ( only covers Lures at the moment )

TODO:
  • Item Type Filters
  • Item name filters include and exclude
  • Auto destroy lowest valued junk when bags are starting to get full to create more space for more loot
  • Auto buy potions might make an appearance

Credits To Xzandro for the efficient repair function
Uses LibStub LibAddonMenu-1.0 which are amazing for creating options, Thanks Seerah
03/04/2014 ( Quick Fix Patch )
FIXES:
Lockpicks are now not junkable / destroyable this is a temp fix as they are not flagged as ITEMTYPE_LOCKPICK

Xzandro's repair functionality is now included and pricing is returned once repaired ( more efficient than my version )

Provisioning Typo is now fixed

02/04/2014
Added Features:
itemtype lure is now added
Repair only equipped items is added ( its in the options )

Removed:
Debugging code ( it was messy and bulky )

Changes:
Vars changed to ESO Globals

Very good idea, but still a tad unpolished. A mod like this must be flawless when it
comes to destroy options. I noticed it labelled somequestdrops as Trash, wich in
my book makes it unusable right now, but as soon as it works as intended I am coming
back to it ... promise.

One more thing, could not find it in any AddOns to delete the files.
Either am I halfblind (well, I AM of age) or too little coffe. I am a swede and we don't
function properly if we not have a constant inflow of said liquid into our system
.

The Settings are not per character right?
Is it possible to make it per character?

Because one Char is a provisioner and need the mats but with another i will destroy that ...
But when i set it to destroy then it is set for all my chars..

I LOVE having more uses in 1 addon! I like it how it is!

But I do want Loot Black/White List so badly.

How difficult would it be to have the item names in the loot messages colourized as per the item quality?

Provisioning is working in last version I have just tested it and new version should be out this week with a rather large update.

Possible conflict with inventory grid view?

Re: Re: Re: qn re blacklist by name future feature

that is one Idea but still allows the inventory flood as junk is still inventory this addon is there to maximise grinding time by keeping the inventory empty.

I do not know if it is possible to hook into these menu choices, but an alternative would be to simply monitor what is in the junk tab.

Does that mean that if I flagged "Stale Bread" as junk, your addon would remember this & all future "Stale Bread" would automatically be flagged as junk?

If this is the case, I look forward to this feature (just came looking for an addon that does exactly this), If that's not what you meant, can I request, if it's possible for something like I described to be added. (and is character specific not global. I have one char I only keep certain magic food/drink buffs & on another they only keep certain stamina food/buffs)

thankyou

I have found a method with edit boxes but need to alter the edit boxes and do some serious coding to get it to work right.
