In fact LibMainMenu don't add anymore any icon at the top of the screen.
It only emulate Main Menus like the "J" or "G" panel. I'll maybe restore this possibility, but I think it's a bit too much for an addon. And yes, I think all "big addons" with lot of screens should tend to this little library or do as PotionMaker or AutoInvite and merge with actual UI. Look at PotionMaker internal Library and rewrite it for Cooking ? Per exemple, for ESO Master Recipe List, it could be nicely integrated in Coking panel : Or be used with lmm to create nice scenes and let the SceneManager do all the stuff..

i think all addons must use some standart icons/UI
like SuperStar or new Potion Maker when every author add his own icons somewhere on the screen it messed all up with alot of addons not match to the original ui |

Please keep in mind that there are other addons, like FCO ItemSaver, that use a "custom" main menu icon already.
Craftstore had added one icon too and it was shown above FCO ItemSaver's icon, which is there, up in the main menu, already for several months now And no, I won't use another library with hundreds of code lines to parse for the game, just to add a button//icon the main menu. This makes only sense if you need other functions from this library or it will just slow down the game without any reason of usage

This may be related to a vanilla bug I have reported. With no addons loaded and a fresh reload of the game, if you have a large-ish amount of items in your inventory and drag the scroll list with the mouse over the items so the tooltips pop up, you will start to get misshapen icons.
Some will be normal size, but more and more will become enlarged over time. You can see in this video what I mean: ESO Inventory Bug I suggest that everyone report this to ZOS so they can take a look at it ASAP. Not sure if that has anything to do with what you were experiencing but just something I noticed in testing. |

At first I thought it might be some conflict with Inventory Insights but that wasn't it, as you can see here: I am wondering if you have added, removed, or updated any other addons recently? Also, can you completely exit the game and reload and see if the same thing is happening? As you can imagine, it is difficult to troubleshoot errors that cannot be replicated. However, I see that this error is being traced back to the code adding the tracking check mark to the inventory, which is a hook into a native function. What will happen frequently with addons is that one addon which hooks into one of these functions will break something, but it is actually another addon that gets "blamed" because they hook into the same function and are the one that ends up showing in the error. In reality, if something breaks a native function all addons that hook into that function will fail, which is what appears to be happening with the vertical alignment in your inventory. |

another suggestion
not a chat icon - but a main menu icon http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info989-LibMainMenu.html will be nice and more easy |

When I added an icon for Chat Window Manager I really liked how the artwork came out (simple icon I know, but it fit with the design well), but more important at the time it was the only extra icon in the chat window, at least on my system. When experimenting with adding more icons things rapidly become too crowded. I was also only able to add it to the chat frame when expanded as adding it to the minimized window causes the bottom of the frame to bump down too far and off the screen. Also, the problem is compatibility with other addons that add icons is near impossible, as the docking is NOT dynamic, meaning if one addon docks their icon to the agent position, any others that do the same will overlap. I can maybe add a floating button that can be unlocked in settings and moved wherever you want, then locked. That would be the most elegant solution available at this point I believe.

Re: C 1 error
Is it possible you were trying the addon for the first time during peak hours and this is the error you received? If so, it may just be a coincidence, as repeatedly logging in WILL eventually let you in. If not, what I suggest is taking one of your characters out into the wilderness somewhere and then exiting the game and installing this addon. Then log back into that character and see if it gives you any errors. If possible a little more information would also be helpful. Is this a popup LUA message that appears in-game, or is it kicking you back to login? When does it occur? When you are first logging in, once you have logged in and can see your character, or randomly in-game? A screenshot of the error would also be helpful. |
