WritGrabber  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.0.14
by: kendaron [More]
Tired of the daily writ grind where you go to you bank, find your item, split the stack, take the one you split, and repeat ad nauseam?

Well this addon is for you! It extends the writ food grabbing behavior of CookeryWiz by doing the same for Alchemy and Enchanting! It will automatically take what you need from your bank, or allow you to take them from your guild banks.

CookeryWiz must be installed as this addon extends the core functionality

It works for German and French clients too!

NOTE: If you are using a bank manager addon you can make WritGrabber delay the fetching process by using the command

/cw fetchdelay <number in milliseconds>

Try it at 500 first and then increase if you are still experiencing issues

Well today it is working but still when pulling achey it won't do it. Yesterday Wormwood and today Blessed Thistle, on both I needed to pull 3 from stacks of 80+. Weird bug.

Also is there anyway to set it up to where if you already have it in bag it keeps those in bag? I use http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info7...erRevived.html maybe there is something that can be setup between them.

I had a weird issue tonight, got my writs and needed 1 thing pulled from bank for enchant, food and alchy yet it did not pull anything when I opened bank, so did it manually. After turning in all my writs and going back to bank, when opening, then it said I had active writs when i didn't and pulled everything I pulled manually. I will let you know if it happens again and if it does i will start disabling my other addons to see if one may be messing with it.

But am hoping this was just a one time freak issue. Normally it works great.

Or was it simply a comment that it is not quite right?

Thanks
I found this doing my addons.
The character appears blank but it appears in the raw name (unlike true nbsp). You would see it if you zgoo the recipes names in the cooking station for example or if you save them in the savedvars.

but you wouldn't ever see the problem if you remove all spaces both side to compare.

But I found the idea of picking anything on the list nice, and Eldorhaan confirmed that was the point of his first message, but had another idea along this : add the possibility to pick the ingredients too? (I think ). Which is a good idea too

Now I hope it doesn't require too many modifictaions of the writ funcions to make it possible. And at this point, now that the expected behavior has been made clear, these are just ideas.

Ok. So if you are missing ingredients for what you are wanting to cook, CookeryWiz would collect them from the guild bank. You would then go away and cook the items.

It is actually something I had considered in the past. Will have to think on it some more

Fetching the actual cooked items that you enter was not what either yourself or Wandamey were wanting?

Yes this is what I meant. What could be great when you are in cookery and place an order of a recipe you have, t indicate on the right column what ingredients needed, so when you come into your guild store, when you click on a button it grab all the ingredients on your order.

I don't know if it's clear?

Writ grabber works on alchemy and enchanting Writ crafting quests. It extends and requires CookeryWiz which works on provisioner writ quests only.

Were you entering items in CookeryWiz and then going to the guild bank to see if someone had already made them? Because you do not know the recipes or do not have enough ingredients? It sounds more like you did not have enough ingredients

I am trying to understand what you are trying to achieve and whether this is something that would be worthwhile to include in CookeryWiz.

Thanks

I know the writ quest in French had some additional characters included. These are not found in the other languages. I thought I had fixed that but it appears I did not get them all! Do you think your problem is what Wandamey reported?
Thanks for the reply, no It s not the same issue, I thought that when you enter receipes in cookery after you go to your guild store, and that able you to click on the button to collect the quantites of food needed to complet the previous receipes... So in fact Writgraber only works for the food quests?
