InventoryManager  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.5.2
by: iwontsay [More]
Not yet another Junker or Bank Addon, this Inventory Manager takes care of your needs to automatically stash, retrieve and dispose of your items as you see fit.

This addon works in conjunction with the CraftStore addon to determine which recipes, style motifs or traits are wanted by your current character or your alts and lets you determine whether to put the given recipes into the bank or even get them from the bank if your character deems them suitable.

Rather than working with a preset list of actions and item groupings, this addon allows to set a list of rules which are applied on the items you loot, your inventory or the bank, as you wish. Think the mail filter in Outlook or Thunderbird and you get the idea.

To use the full range of functions within these AddOns, following AddOns are suggested for installation as well:
* CraftStore Summerset for identifying your character's and alt's needs
* FCO ItemSaver for customized marking options

---- Special thanks to:
* Baertram (Your developer docs for FCO ItemSaver really saved the day)

I second this fix. Worked like a charm.
Could you please elaborate? I didnt understand. I also get an error when I load ESO. From the libs of this addon.
In addon list disable libstub libmenu and other libs so they wont load independently from this and other addons. First 2 are shared betwean many other addons and some addons use outdated libs etc. That way each addon will load own builtin libs and there shouldnt be any errors. I run 125 addons and all is good.

When first installed, this mod should do nothing, akin to the Hippocratic Oath. It should be entirely up to the player to begin defining rules for the mod's behavior. Instead it immediately begins to make assumptions and take liberties upon first visit to either a bank or even a home chest (because it doesn't properly distinguish the two). Further, there is no means to fully disable the currency rules; whether the rules are configured to target the player or the bank, they will always do something the way they are designed. The currency rules should be just as open as the rest. I personally don't want any mod touching my currencies at all. Finally, it continues to post "transaction complete" to chat, even if nothing was actually done other than process rules.

You need to make more rulles so crown items, maps and other unsellable items wont get considered. Same goes for map duplicates in bank when using rule for Any Trophy for example.

Hey, thanks for this add-on!

I've come here after Bank Manager Revived was abandoned (it still works, but since this add-on is active, thought I'd rather use it). Basically, I'm using this add-on the same way I did that one (to automatically push materials to my bank).

I have a few requests though (maybe this is already in the settings and I don't see it though):

- Is there any way to increase the speed at which items get deposited in my bank? i.e. Bank Manager would have almost no delay between each item being deposited, whereas here the delay is noticeable (especially when dealing with dozens of stacks). I thought the "delay between bank moves" setting might impact this, but it didn't seem to have any effect.

- Could we get jewellery materials and furniture materials included in the rules as well? I couldn't find them anywhere (and they aren't covered by materials > all).

None of these are major issues, just thought I'd share my feedback.

There are two 'flavors' of the (!) icon: Red means, the current character is interested in the item, violet means, one of your alts is, but not your current character.

The "BankManagerRevived" addon is known to interfere with the operations, other than that I don't know of other addons, but I wouldn't dismiss the possibility.

For reference, I did include two sample profiles in the addon - named "Researcher" and "Research Assistant" that should cover the tasks of moving items unknown to you or your alts to and from the bank. These are the profiles I tested the workings of the addon with. If they still don't do the trick and the items aren't locked or marked as junk, "Dry run" says it would move items to the bank but it still doesn't, it indicates a more serious problem.

If you do suspect another addon interfering (I do at this point), you may try it with the other addons disabled first. If it works then, enabling the addons one after the other should help in finding out which one interferes.

Alternatively, I'd like to ask for a list of addons installed to have a closer look at them myself for potential issues.
just got home from work, did some testing.
first, all my addons enabled, with both of the sample profiles, had one item "unknown to others" with a violet ! infront of it, nothing is marked red in craftstore on any char, item was not moved to the bank, but I do get the all transactions sent in chat.

second test, all addons disabled but craftstore and your addon, items was not moved to the bank.
if I press list rules, the rules are listed in the chat, if I press Dry run, nothing happens on my main where I have the "item unknown to others", I moved an ornate item from an alt to my main, just to test dry run, and it says move ornate item to junk, so tha addon know that ornate/intricate items are in my bag, but not the items needed by other chars.
if I press dry run on the alt that needs that item, I do get would put to junk any ornate item in the chat, and a list on those ornate items, same if I press run over inventory on my alt, those ornate items are moved to junk. so dry run works on intricate and ornate items, but not "unknown to others items"
also tested reinstalling the addon, but no difference.
so since it wont move the item with all addons disabled, it should not be an other addon causing problems, but here is a list of the addons I use.

sorcererhelper
cookerywiz
action duration reminder
advanced scrolling combat text
auto recharge
awesomeguildstore
azurah
bugcatcher
combatmetrics
crafting stations
craftstore fixed and improved
destinations
lazy writ creator
dressingroom
greymind quick slot bars
harvens trait and style
inventorymanager
lootdrop
lorebooks
lost treasure
multicraft
potion maker
publicdungeoonchampions
questtracker
research assistant
S'rendarr
skyshards
summonAssist
wykkyd toolbar
Do You use CraftStore for Summerset witch is standalone updated version not a patch. Also any failed move like attempting bank undaunted key or duplicate map will stop whole process onward. As for marking when you click character name on bottom of craftstore, list off all characters will pop and each will have 3 ticks for styles recipes and traits. Just need to tick for tracking. Works fine with recipes for me not sure about traits since i have all reaserched long ago.

oh, and also, the deconstruct rules don't seem to work, at least the jewelry ones don't. not a big deal for me, but still. just and fyi.

I have the same issue with saving profiles but will include that it also doesn't save my preferences just below the gold either (time between moves, etc).

I get errors with decon of jewlery and when I research a new jewelry item. I wonder if it has to to with Circonians old libs?

Could be. But CS 1.76 is out now (yes, I seem to have skipped 1.75 completely), so chances are that he reverted the game-breaker. If not, I'll have a look at it.
(edited)

I'm not sure what happened but all the lua errors went away today.

Sorry for wasting your time.

Could you fix that by just skipping items which can't be sold or am I doing something wrong again?
In fact i have exact same problem when attempting to store undaunted key or Treasure map that already have duplicate in bank.
Edit: Can't use rule for moving any trophy for example. Instead need to make few rules more specific to avoid moving locked or character bound items.
I know what you mean. As a workaround - like Corgan stated - locked items (whether with the default locking or the FCO 'locked' mark) aren't considered for moving, though the last one needs a rule to exclude FCO-Locked items.

There's no good solution for this. For stability, I don't simply "push out" the item movement requests but wait until the last one finished successfully before emitting the next one, to avoid the possibility of being flooded with repeated errors (and presumably kicked/crashed because of a faulty addon) if something goes wrong.

But, I get only notification for successful movements - not for failed ones. Not to say what kind of problem prevented the move and whether it is a temporary problem which could be gone on the next try or a permanent one like with specific items and conditions. So, without any hint when to continue, the process stops, and the last one listed would be the offending object.

Additionally, I don't know a good way to determine objects which can be moved to the bank, can be moved only once to the bank, or not at all. Same may go for other objects which may reside only once in the player's inventory.
Thanks for reply. Great add on i was looking for one like this in a long time. As for maps and other trophies i just use any item and throw text filter, so more rules to make but its doable like You said.

I do have only problem with recipes and motifs. When i try to pull unknown recipes or motifs it doesn't recognize witch one are those and does nothing. I have CraftStrore for Summerset installed but also ESO master recipe list (witch is way better for tracking recipes than CraftStore imo). What rule exaclly should i use to make it work, or is it currently not working? Also was confused there is no 'known' next to unknown, unknown to others and irrelevant.

Edit: Maybe i should try recipe marking in FCO IS and see how that goes, but i'm open to any other suggestions how to make it work.
