Votan's Improved Outfit Station  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.4.3
by: votan [More]
DependenciesDescription
Most important things disabled by ZOS
I released what's left

This addon does:
  • Undo/Redo buttons. You don't need to accept changes (which has costs) to be enable to undo things. Disabled by ZOS
  • Save interim results as "Fashion". (But can not applied to outfits.)
  • Fashion can be shared across characters and other players.
  • Color dye navigation with key-binds.
  • Style Navigation.
  • Single click selection for styles.
  • Searchbox saving different text for dyes, styles and fashions.
  • Reset search text, if focusing with a right-click.
  • Fixing dye sample tool: Reset search filter, if the sampled color does not match.
  • Preserve all three dye slots, so that they do not get lost if selecting a style with just two or one dye slot(s).
  • New dye grouping: Metallic/Matte

This addon is not a work-a-round paying gold or tokens to change your outfit. If your swap outfit regulary consider to buy more slots
^^ obviously work-a-round enough

How to share Fashion
With /getfashion your current outfit fashion code (<vof>) is printed to chat. Or use the context menu of the Fashion list. You can put it into the clipboard to mail it to other players or post it in forums.
With /setfashion <vof> the string is applied to your character. Applying unlocked/possible collectibles and dyes only.
With /addfashion <vof> the original code is added to your Fashion list for later use.

Dye/Style Navigation
The key-binds to navigate will not be visible. But you can use them, if you have assigned keys to them in the "Controls" game settings.
If you hover a dye slot on the left side with the mouse pointer, this color automatically change on navigating. Otherwise the current selected dye color is changed only.

Remarks
I'm still working on it. There may be bugs. I also need some testers for non-ESO+. If you like to help, feedback is welcome.

Question Stop Weapon Drawing At Station?

Can this addon prevent your weapon from automatically drawing every time you apply a dye? If not, does anyone know of one that can? This feature alone, is the only thing I want an Outfit Addon for. Ideally, there would be an Addon which did that, and nothing more...

Found it.
I don't know how you were able to having pending changes, but after commenting the check, I could reproduce.
ZOS renamed the function.
there werent any pending changes. it was just a matter of having the UI open.

Pure visual. The data is within the addon, and in-complete.

Great addon . Now just a dream : the only one thing which killing the all fun of outfitting itself- is turning and MOVING character( if only woud be possible to do like this : - as soon as you actvate the outfit station- woud be perfect if character make FULL stop and STOP turning left or right . very annoing ( if it will stand still, without playing animations - woud be MUCH easier to see all effects and changes. ah, dreams ... and not sure animation can be switched off when outfiting ..

Well, filtering takes place in Natigation.lua line 235+.
"data" contains all informtion of a collectible. Maybe you can filter out some lower styleIds.
Hi there!

That indeed did the trick!
I've made a diff file with my changes, in case you want to use it: https://pastebin.com/ixKMWKdH
I'd love for it to be included, my people in my "fashion scrolls online" guild would be very happy too
But I absolutely understand if you don't.

Either way, thanks for the help!

Since the outfit codes aren't able to be applied anymore, is there any way the output of /getfashion can be made into something more readable so they can be applied manually? Either in the acutal addon, or as something external that can be used to convert the code so instead of a the string of numbers, you get a list like Head:<heavy/med/light>,<style>,<dye1name><dye2name><dye3name>, Body:<heavy/med/light>,<style>,<dye1name><dye2name> and so on?

Alternatively, would it be possible to add mouseovers to the outfits shown in the fashion tab so that the user can see exactly what each saved style/dye is, since some of them are too similar to easily tell just from the image.
@LucklessLord I have not forgotten you. I just don't know "when", yet. But yes, I having seen it and it can be done.

/edit: now.
Works great, thanks for the update!
