by: joshfong [More]
Too many vanity pets and not sure which to use? Let this addon pick a random one for you!

Find any bugs or want something tweaked? Want to contribute a translation? Contact me in-game (@joshfong, PC-NA) or message me on this site.
Version 1.5.2
- API version bump for Scalebreaker.

Version 1.5.1
- API version bump for Wrathstone.

- Added German translation (thank you Baertram!).
- General housekeeping.

Version 1.4.4
- Added support for localization.
- Added French translation (thank you vvarderen!).

Version 1.4.3
- Added a Reload UI button to the addon settings page.
- Updated the warning tooltip text for the frequency option.
- Fixed an incorrect initial value.
- Fixed an issue where the frequency dropdown wouldn't populate with the correct setting.
- Refactored some code.
- Added the patch notes to the Readme.

Version 1.4.2
- API version bump for Murkmire.
- Potential fix for certain pets not being selected.

Thumbs up You are awesome!

Thank you! I just want to thank you for this and the random mount because I love showing off my mounts and little pets but I always forget to change them. This is a great start and just wanted to let you know that you totally made ESO a lot more fun and cute as well.

install dir bug

Heya, the current version seems to install in the base addons folder rather than in its own directory, therefore not working

Works fine when I manually create a folder and move it in there

Minion Bug + Request

Hello, thanks for your work. I installed to try it but ended up uninstalling for the time being:

This addon doesn't work when installed using Minion; it doesn't package the all of the files correctly in a folder, as someone else mentioned earlier. ".git" file seems to be missing also; unsure.

I like that this has a couple of options for when pets are randomized (login, load screen) that are less frequent than those offered by other pet randomizing addons.

For example, the original Random Mount addon (IIRC) had an option to switch on zone. But what I considered a "zone" as a user ended was different from what the game considers a "zone"; pets switched out much too frequently. Say I was traveling in the lower half of Auridon: the pet would change several times in the open world.

However, I'm missing some utilities of those other addons:
1. that mounts and pets were combined into a single addon
2. options (checkboxes) to select which pets and mounts you actually want to use, so you can leave some out so that only your favorites are selected.

I couldn't get it to work either but it seems that there is another addon that covers this one's functionality https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info...ount.html#info
