MultiCraft

Helping crafters quickly craft items

This addon adds a spinner to all crafting professions where it makes sense and allows you to craft as many items as you can create with only one click instead of having to click each time you want to craft an item.

Usage : At crafting Station, use -/+ buttons or mousewheel or simply type the quantity you want to craft.
Hold Ctrl, Alt or Shift to jump 10 by 10 to go even quicker.

Mac is a bust. Worked fine there for me.

I need more info here. Which recipe(s) were you trying to make? Which alchemy skills do you have learned? Could this somehow be related to having Chemistry since it makes more than one item? I would hope they only fired one EVENT_CRAFT_COMPLETED, but I suppose it could theoretically just be doing multiple crafts internally and firing off a lot of them, which would probably overload my code somehow. I will give it a shot with that skill learned and see what I come up with.

It could because there are different bugs with the Mac client than the Windows client. Though, you're right, they should be sharing the core code between them if they did it right. I'll check it out on a Mac tonight and see if I can repro it there. If they coded this beast correctly though, the only things that should differ is OS level application code and graphics (DirectX on Windows/Xbox, OpenGL on Mac/PS4).

Just an FYI, I tried crafting potions using this addon, setting the slider to craft all available potions... and it hung up. I have the latest version (I update my addons daily). I was in a hurry and did not try disabling my other addons to see if it could be reproduced or not this time.

Too bad because Alchemy is the one crafting profession that I could really see this addon having the most benefit.

BTW, I'm using the Mac client. Dunno why that would affect anything...

Hm, maybe, but it doesn't look like it happens all the time from a quick test. I hit 15 alchemy tonight and picked up Laboratory Use. I need to go to bed right now, but I'll have more time tomorrow afternoon to get a bunch of reagents and try to reproduce this problem.
I've tried reproducing this crafting 26 potions so far and it has not hung once for me. I'm curious, which client are you using? Windows/Mac? Language (though I don't see how that would matter)?

You guys both shut off all other addons and got different results from each other. So I really don't know yet. Sorry

I did put in a small sanity check, but I don't see how it would fix this particular problem at all.

Looks like he has not used 3 reagents. Or am I wrong?

Ok thanks for the report. Seems there's a definite issue. My alchemy is at 12 as of last night, so hopefully tonight I can get it to 15 and fix this issue.

I'm having a problem with this addon. It's great, but when I select a number of items to craft (have only used Multicraft for Alchemy so far), it gets to the last item made then just hangs up. I can escape from the crafting table, but when I select it to start working again, the screen is hung where it was before. This has happened when adjusting the slider to create the max number of potions available and had done it twice so far. You can see in the screenshot what's happening. It doesn't time out, either, as my character has been that way in the time it's taken me to write this post so it doesn't appear to be a latency problem.

Edit: Reading through the comments below, I tried disabling all the other addons I have and then tried crafting multiple potions. Got the same result: Hung at the last potion and would not continue.

Edit2: I just tried again, but this time instead of adjusting the slider to craft the max number of potions available, I had it set to craft a lower number than that (so it's not using all reagents). Got the same result.

Ya both cases with 3 reagents. Its still possible (and gives the same XP) to make 2 reagents potions. So you only make 3 reagents potions when trying to get very good potions for you and 2 reagent potions when you just want to skill up.

In both cases, did you make the potion with 3 reagents? I assume, though don't know, that when you have Laboratory Use you're still allowed to make a potion using 2 reagents.

Do you mind testing it with only MultiCraft running? The way I'm looping over the alchemy reagents should work whether you have 2 or 3 slots unlocked. If it doesn't work then it might be a while before I can fix it. Unfortunately my alchemy is a mere level 6, so I can't test it myself for this case. I'm working on getting my alchemy to 15 so I can do so though. In the base case, not having Laboratory Use, the alchemy window remains usable in my testing. So at least that works.
Hmm very odd disabled all other addons and tryed it again but no problem this time. Maybe it was this special potion I made? Or was I exidently stoped crafing while it was auto crafting?

Not shure because I don't use other crafting addons for alchemy
