Here is MobileBank Extended.

The Extended Version is much improved with new Features and Bug Fixes.

Feature List
  • View Inventories contents of your Characters (you have to login once to get the Data)
  • View Bank contents (no Bank visit necessairy)
  • View Guild Banks contents (Guild Bank needs to be opened to get the Data)
  • View All Items
  • View Recipes (Provisioning)
  • Filter your Contents by Text or Basic Categories (Sorry no Advanced Filter Support yet)
  • Define Aliases for your Characters and Guilds to avoid automatic Truncation of the Names
  • Define the Order of your Characters
  • Shows Stats (such as Damage) for your Items
  • Shows Sell Value for your Items
  • Adds ToolTip info to Standard Inventory ToolTips (can be turned off)
Usage

Best way is to bind at least one Key to one of the many Views (Inventories, Bank, Guild Banks, etc.)
so you can open/close the main window by Keystroke.
I recommend to bind the Toggle On/Off Key ,this will show the last active View.

Hint: /mb o for direct access to the Options Window

Once you are in the Window you can use the Buttons on the Top

The old "Menu" from MobileBank is still avaible (check Options) ,but disabled by default.
You can of course use the command /mb to display a help of command options.

Find the Options in Settings-Addon Settings (using LibAddonMenu 2.0 R6 ,thanks @Seerah)

Previous Users

I recommend to Reset Data (Button in the Options) ,to get a "clean-house" with this Version.
After you login to your character, you can define the Order of your Characters on the Main Menu either
by the order you login or by visting the Options.

  • More Advanced Filters (partially integrated)
  • Store Recipes of other Characters

Known Problems/Annoyances
  • The Total Amount of Items in the "View All" List is not always accurate (Investigating)
  • Equipped Material doesn't show up in the "View All" view ,but it does in the Inventories.
  • Equipped Tooltip might overlap (can be tweaked a bit by moving the Window)
  • Clicking outside of the Main Panel switches to Cursor Mode
  • Tooltip doesn't support Info from other Addons
Note if you turned the Cursor Mode on by yourself (.) ,then it will not turn it off after closing the window.
Tipp: if switching Cursor Mode is broken ,try ESC to get it fixed.

about marks from other addons!!

i just describe few of them

1st type - addons mark unknown items/recipes for you and alts, like sous chef, junkit. Not a high priority, because you able to see the trait of an item in the inventory insight, or the name of a recipe anyway
but will be nice to see this marks too. Between this two - JunkIt is more popular and better.

2nd type - addons that mark items for your own needs, FilterIt, Item Saver, FCO Item Saver.
last two addons are equal in popularity, so i believe better way to add support for both of them
Im using Item Saver, simple one mark, but FCO Item Saver has more functions, and develops quicker, so i believe i will start using it soon, but only when Bank Manager Revived will start support it

JunkIt & FilterIt
As for (1) Marks for unknown researchable items, neither JunkIt or FilterIt have any global functions to give out that information and I do not plan on adding any. The reason is that I recently wrote a library for JunkIt & FilterIt that does all of this work and it can be shared among any addon using the library. I wrote this so that all of my addons don't have to do the same work or depend upon one another. I will gladly share it with others to use in their addons so there is no need for your addon to depend upon another addon to gather this information.

As for (2) "Save For xxxx" marks in FilterIt the information is already saved in each items slotData so it is visible to all addons under: FilterIt_CurrentFilter, If it is nil, there is no "Save For xxxx" mark on the item.
This way there is no need for global API or a dependency with the addon, you can just check to see if the filter exists or not in the items slotData.

The currently available "Save For xxxx" marks are:
Save for: Trading House, Trade, Vendor, Mail, Alchemy, Enchanting, Provisioning, Deconstruction, Improvement, Refinement, Research, & Save.

The filter information is stored as an integer corresponding to the LibFilterIt FilterType (which filter the number represents). (See FilterIt addon page, FilterIt and scroll to the bottom for a complete example)

It uses my LibFilterIt library, the different filterTypes (global const integer values that correspond to the marks) that are available can be found under "LibFilterIt Filter Types" at the LibFilterIt page here: LibFilterIt

So all you have to do when you are gathering information about the item is access FilterIt_CurrentFilter in the items slotData to determine if it has a mark & which mark it has. If you have any questions or need any help implementing anything though just send me a pm I'de be happy to help.

Edit:

FilterIt does not currently have a global function to add/remove marks, but if you are interested in adding support to do this in your addon let me know & I will add some global API you can use to do it.
Also FilterIt uses game textures for the icons, nothing custom, but there is not any global API to share that information (which textures for which marks)...although thats pretty simple I could add something if you want to pass other addons the string/path for the texture so the marks you display could be the same icons that are used in FilterIt.

Hi,
In der Zeile 1360 hab ich "ITEMTYPE_WEAPON_BOOSTER" durch "ITEMTYPE_BLACKSMITHING_BOOSTER" ersetzt, damit man die Booster (wie Dwemeröl) auch unter Material Blacksmithing findet.

please add more filters
i really need filter for rings/amulets, im wondering how it missed in the addon
ans split Traits,Style to Style+weapon traits+armor traits will be good, but not so important as JEWERLY

can you reconsider your decigion about marks from other addons? like item saver, and junkit, etc
with this marks displayed Mobile Bank will become alot more usefull and comfortable

There is a button in the Options to Clear all Data.


Unfortunately after using that you need to login to all your Characters and make sure their inventory get's refreshed.


This will fix your problem, without the need to manually edit the MobileBank.lua Settings in "SavedVariables" (which would be a second way if you feel comfortable to do that) ;-)


Since usually people don't delete their Characters, i have no plans to fix that with programming logic.

you can use other addons for this
Sous chef shows icons for unknowns recipes, and JunkIt too
but you cannot see the marks in the Mobile Bank, for now this addon dont support other addon's marks....

Love this add on, great job. Since you already have some cross-character functions and interface design, any chance you can add that to the recipes listing? Would be very useful to be able to check out the recipe books of your other characters to see if they already know a given recipe when you find it, or have the tool tip for a recipe list all the characters that currently know it (or don't, maybe). Not sure if this is a limitation of the API or not, or if you can work around it with locally saved data when a character logs out. Keep up the great work.
