Arch's Enhanced Crafting  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.1.1
by: Architecture [More]
Quality enhancements to improve the crafting and smithing experience in a single addon!

Overview
Includes the ability to only show refinable raw materials (controllable by a toggle setting).

Also, this addon can automatically select the default crafting style to be the material with the greatest total quantity. Alternatively, the addon allows for a custom key binding to compute and (re)select the crafting style material. The crafting style can then be changed and utilized as you normally would if desired. This addon is great for scenarios such as creating an item for research or leveling purposes!

It fixes many of the shortcomings the default UI has -- such as automatic max improvement chances, fast deconstruction / refinement, etc.

Custom Control

Options
Dependencies
LibAddonMenu-2.0

Works great out of the box. This addon also supports gamepad!

Please let me know your feedback -- thank you!

My refinement tab is always blank when using the "only show refinable raw materials" regardless of number of raw mats.

Same here. Not only is it not showing any materials at all, but the setting keeps resetting itself to ON every time I reloadui or log back in.

Also, as far as selecting the style material you have the most of: it apparently ignores "premium" materials like Argentum, which I have way more of compared to anything else.

Blank if you have ESO Plus Crafting Bags and Filter Refineables On

So I looked into the issue that is occurring below.

It is plank if you have ESO Plus crafting bags and your raw materials are in the the crafting bags while the filter refineables option is on.

Is it possible to update Arch's to work with the ESO Plus crafting bags?

Keep up the great work!

Well it seems like the recent update fixed Craft Bag interaction, a welcome change!

Unfortunately, the setting now also hides items from the Deconstruct tab...

Hello,

I just uploaded a patch which addresses the hiding of all items in the destruct tab. Sorry about that!

Please keep the feedback coming

Thanks,

Awesome!

I have been working on some improvements / additions for how the Craft Style Mat selection behaves. I like that idea and will see what I can do

Thank you for your help towards enhancing the ESO crafting experience!

Awesome! The thoughts were, when making writs and/or items just for gaining crafting experience that you want to balance the # of remaining style mats so hitting the button (or keybind) would use the same algorithm but find the next highest.

Example:
So let's say I open it up the crafting station with Arch's installed and arch's selects a style where I have 80 components (yay!). It turns out I have three styles with 80 components and the rest i have less than 60.

Then I craft one item (for writ or crafting experience) leaving me on the current selected style which only has 79 remaining components. It would be nice to have a button and/or keybind to then advance to highest again, which in this case would be one of the two styles where I have 80 components still.

My current workaround which achieves this:
1. Open crafting station, Arch's selects highest style component.
2. Craft item.
3. Close crafting station.
4. Open crafting station, Arch's selects highest style again.
5. Now craft new item...

Cheers!

Ill make a TODO to have a settings toggle which allows it to always use the highest after crafting (or have some way to detect that they haven't changed the style manually)

Thanks!

The keybind would be quite do-able. Ill at least have that added. Thank you again for the feedback!

I want to thank you for this useful addon! It declutters the refining tab and you save time by not having to search all the styling material to choose the one with the most components.

I wonder if it is possible to implement an auto max improvement option for upgrading gears.

Thank you for the positive feedback!

Absolutely. I previously developed code for gamepad auto max improvement, so it would be quite simple to port that code for mouse/keyboard and add it as an option in Enhanced Crafting addon settings.
