WritGrabber  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.0.14
by: kendaron [More]
Tired of the daily writ grind where you go to you bank, find your item, split the stack, take the one you split, and repeat ad nauseam?

Well this addon is for you! It extends the writ food grabbing behavior of CookeryWiz by doing the same for Alchemy and Enchanting! It will automatically take what you need from your bank, or allow you to take them from your guild banks.

CookeryWiz must be installed as this addon extends the core functionality

It works for German and French clients too!

NOTE: If you are using a bank manager addon you can make WritGrabber delay the fetching process by using the command

/cw fetchdelay <number in milliseconds>

Try it at 500 first and then increase if you are still experiencing issues

I have added a delay option to CookeryWiz. Type

/cw fetchdelay <number in milliseconds>

You only have to do this once as it will be stored in the savedvariables file. Reset it by setting delay to 0

It doesnt work quite as you may at first expect. Basically it will delay the above amount, and if no changes have occurred to your bag (ie nothing taken or added) then it will begin the grab process. If a change has occurred then the timer resets and it delays again. Repeat, repeat etc. When the stacker is finished there would be no more changes to your bag so it will begin the process.

I guess it depends on your network connection but setting it to 1000 may be enough. Update CookeryWiz and give it a try!

Also, as it happens I have been working on something to manage your resources, so you may not need to worry about it for long!

I understand about keeping it with Cookery Wiz. Thank you!

I am not quite sure I follow what is happening with your bank stacking...

There is a button you click to start the process with the guild bank. I could make an option to use that button for normal bank too. That way you could wait for your stacker to finish and then do the grabbing by clicking the button? Would that work? Or will the stacker always try and move the items WritGrabber retrieves back to the bank as soon as it grabs them?

There are no plans to separate this from CookeryWiz. It uses the functionality from CookeryWiz and I do not wish to separate this out and create a dependency addon for CookeryWiz. Sorry

1. Item 1 in inventory. Item 2 in bank.
2. Open bank.
3. Item 1 goes to bank, item 2 goes to inventory.
4. Reopen bank.
3. Item 2 goes to bank, item 1 goes to inventory.
