Version: 4.0

Overview

This addon is intended to give a quick overview of the current objective battles in Cyrodiil without going to map. It shows the current scoring and info on keep battles. The intent is to show the most common and most relevant information quickly

Features
  • Always show possible points per alliance and time to next score evaluation
  • Show which keeps are currently under attack
  • Show friendly and enemy siege counts
  • Show duration of each battle
  • Highlight new battles with red background fading to normal black
  • Highlight finished battles
  • (Option) Show Imperial City districts under attack
  • (Option) Auto-hide quest tracker.
    Supported trackers:
  • Integration with CyroChat

Usage
The addon will auto-enable whenever you are in Cyrodiil.

If you do want to disable it for a bit (PvE questing in Cyrodiil), the following command will toggle the window:
Code:
/cyrhud
To show the settings open the LAm settings menu by pressing ESC and then choose "Addon settings", or type the chat command
Code:
/cyrhuds
You can also setup a keybind in the "controls" game menu to toggle the Cyrodil HUD.

Localization
The main display only shows text for the keep/resource names, which are translated as part of the base game. The settings menu has text in:
  • English
  • Japanese - by @Lionas
  • French - by Llwydd
  • German - by Baertram

I use the English client, so that has the most attention for formatting. There is some formatting for the French and German clients to help resource names display better. Any shortening is just a quick replace and may not be grammatically correct, as I do not speak French or German.

Please PM me if you want to contribute an additional translation or if you run into localization issues.

Possible additions
I'm not actively working on this addon, but here is a rough roadmap for if I start work on it again.
(Or if someone wants to implement one of these, I'll be glad to help. )
  • Show scroll info if a scroll is being carried
  • Show PvP quests (Kill, Scout, Capture)
  • Have better indication of original owner when battle ends with capture
  • Show counts of carried siege/repair kits
  • - if above, make those clickable to add to quickslot and select

At the time, I hadn't looked closely at what the numbers at the top were doing and was mistakenly thinking they represented alliance population. Of course as soon as I looked more closely, I realized it was showing however many points each alliance was getting at the next score evaluation, which is what I thought you were asking for. Since scores change many times throughout the hour, it makes sense to display it on your screen. However, overall scores don't change that often; only once an hour. So I thought it wouldn't be as useful to spend time to create a whole new section, although optional, to display the score, when one knows it doesn't change and so you can just press a button to open the alliance war screen and see the score.

So due to my mistake, unfortunately no, it is not being considered.
I see... Well, thank you anyway for having some time looking into it!

I would love, and I think it would be useful to have, to see the total score for a campaign somewhere.

I was thinkng about having a new line added under the Next Tick one, it might look something like:

||| +50 ||| +48 ||| +55
2.k 3.8k 1.6k

Do you think it is possible?

Many thanks!
It's available via the API. I'll look into creating an option to display it.

Dunno, I'm not playing PvP and cannot update this addon.
I only updated the API once and fixed a small bug. If anyone is able to obvertake it, you're free to do so. Thanks

Sorry, not sure.
I only took over this addon to keep it running (if I find the time).
Please test yourself.

I'm not sure if the game is able to detect if we are inside the IC region. I only know how to detect if we are in the PvP ( AvA ) region, which includes Cyrodiil in total.

Please use existing addons like "No Thank you" (and I bet there are others that already hide the notifications if not inside IC too).
i mean visual displaying of disctricts state at CyrHUD

we dont need to see if someone attacked one of the districts if we fighting in the Cyrodiil, or even dont have IC DLC, isnt it?

P.S. found an option - Hide imperial disctrict battles!
question - i need enable it if i will enter to IC, or it will be autoenabled?

Please contact Ravalox of Ravalox Questtracker. He shoudl check it and implement it into his addon.
CyrHUD is not able to do this until now and if I implement it there it will make the questtracker "blink" (show and hide). And maybe it is needed to be implemented for several other palces too

[u][b]For Ravalox:

Inside his code he could use somthing like this to check for the addon CyrHUD is active:
Code:
--Variable inside the addon to store the other addon states
local otherAddons = {}

--Function to check the addon state
--Should be called inside initialization of the addon
function QuestTracker:CheckOtherAddonsActive(addonName, addonVariable)
 if addonName ~= nil then
local addonActive = addonVariable ~= nil
    otherAddons[addonName] = addonActive
 end
end

--Function to get the state of an addon name
function QuestTracker:GetOtherAddonsActive(addonName)
	local retVar = false
	if addonName ~= nil then
   		if otherAddons[addonName] ~= nil then
			retVar = otherAddons[addonName]
        end
    end
    return retVar
end
He needs to put the CyrHUD addon into his manifest txt file as a OptionalDependsOn state:
Code:
## OptionalDependsOn: LibStub LibAddonMenu-2.0 CyrHUD
This way CyrHUD will be loaded BEFORE Ravalox Questtracker and the global variable CyrHUD is there as Ravalox Questtracker starts.

As his addon initilaizes he should call:
Lua Code:
  1. QuestTracker:CheckOtherAddonsActive("CyrHUD", CyrHUD)

Then he can check, as the journal opens:
Lua Code:
  1. --Check if addon CyrHUD is active
  2. If QuestTracker:GetOtherAddonsActive("CyrHUD") then
  3.     --CyrHUD is active
  4.     --Check if the Ravalox quest tracker should be hidden (settings set in CyrHUD addon)
  5.     if CyrHUD.cfg.trackerDisable then
  6.         --Do not show the Ravalox Questtracker
  7.     end
  8. end
