SimpleClock  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.0.0
by: alfpogs [More]
** I got bored of ESO so I'm not updating this anymore. Feel free to modify and redistribute it as you see fit. **

A simple addon that displays a clock.

I like to play fullscreen and I couldn't find an option to show the time anywhere.

Features
  • It shows the time
  • 12 and 24 hour modes
  • You can move it around
  • Choose from a collection of in-game fonts.
  • Set the size, colour, and drop shadow/outline of the text.
  • Modify the AM/PM indicators to your liking, or remove them entirely.

1.0.0 Released!

Thanks for the downloads, and special thanks to you folks that recommended this addon to others!

I have all the features in that I wanted and it looks like everything is stable. I'll probably just be doing maintenance now, so submit a feature request if you have any suggestions.

About Displaying In-Game Time

I've been asked about having the clock display the time of the actual game world. It would certainly be neat to have but from what I can tell the game does not make that functionality available to addons.

If you know something that I don't, please let me know - it would likely be an easy addition.

Feel free to submit any feature requests or bugs, or send me a message.
** 1.0.0 **
- Fixed a problem with anchoring
- Looks like everything is stable now, as far as I can tell.

0.3.2
- Zipped up the wrong folder that had a test in that was spewing random numbers all over the chat log. Whoops!

0.3.1
- Fixed a bug with the label control's size not being updated as the clock ticked.

** 0.3.0 **
- Added various settings for font: Family, Size, Colour, and Style.

** 0.2.0 **
- Organized control panel a bit better so the 24hr and meridiem settings are together.
- Added a "Text Alignment" setting.

** 0.1.0 **
- Added control panel in the Settings menu.
- Added option to hide while in menu screens.
- Added option for 24 hour time format.
- Added options for meridiem indicators (AM/PM text): display in uppcase/lowercase, separate letters with dots, or hide indicators entirely.
- Unclamped clock from screen, so you should be able to get it right up to the edges now.

0.0.1
- Fixed the time getting cut off.

Cool Add alarm clock

How about adding an alarm feature? Lots of time I'm cooking and I need an in-game alarm clock to let me know when to head to the kitchen

Not showing up for me either.

If it was bumping in to the edge of the screen, I've fixed that in the latest version (0.1.0). If you mean it's still stuck, try deleting the saved variables file from the following location:

C:\Users\{{Your Username}}\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\SavedVariables

Then type /reloadui in the chatbox. I'm not sure what would be causing it to get stuck.

I can't replicate the not-draggable problem. It's possible there is an invisible frame over top of it from another addon, I'm not sure. Where are you trying to position it when you can't get it to where you want it?

That list was for stuff to be worked on during early access, since I couldn't test anything until then. I'll be adding it shortly.
