About those "block now" warnings. Is it me, or does it not show when you're in dungeon and when boss does his heavy attack, it shows nothing? It works fine with trash. I noticed this in Bloodroot Forge, at last boss, where he one shots you if you don't block.
I also noticed that I get that "nil" when party members loot.

I'll patch this up when I get out of work. I didn't think to check names with special characters until you mentioned jt yesterday. Gonna try making some goofy character names and see if I can replicate the issue then come up with a working solution for it.

So I did some more testing today. With your addon (all options on) I did a pledge and at fights my fps would still drop to 30 or even less.
I disabled LUI, and I did other two pledges and ingame fps counter shows I rarely ever go under 60 fps.
So now I must test with each LUI option.

Should be fixed completely. You can toggle combat text on/off at will, I expect that to cause some performance hit either way.

Alright I'm getting this same menu lag shit in big group pvp.
Try turning off UnitFrames or turning off the Display Hot/DoT Overlay settings and see if that stops it. It might be my regeneration animation, maybe just a bit too big of a filesize to overlay on the UI.
