losing library with 2nd character

Just installed the new version. When I log in for the first time, it looks like the whole library is there. But when I log out and then in with another character, I get a UI Error and the librarian is empty (the librarian.lua file is empty, it's not just an interface prob). Have I just missed something? I do have a backup of my dataf...

Your library should be fine, but its worth taking a backup of it anyway. I'll fix the error tonight and put out a new version for you. I've released a new version (1.0.18) which fixes the bug mentioned below where errors were appearing when upgrading from an old version of Librarian. That's solved it - 1.0.18 handles the file...

I hadn't bothered to look for updates until I started experiencing the logout lag issue, so I just upgraded from 1.01 to 1.17. Unfortunately, it seems to be choking on my well-outdated librarian.lua file (I get the UI error when starting and the addon won't launch or add books).
