Unfortunately it appears that with Update 36, ZOS changed things to prevent emotes from playing while fishing. The addon still attempts to play the emote, but ESO advises "Cannot play emote at this time." :( In any event, thank you very much to Architecture for this great addon! It had a great run and definitely helped make fishin...
