I don't know if it has been suggested already or, not but here's my proposal: having "Mark As Read/Mark As Unread" options for each book.

My LoreBooks wasn't showing any books. "Everyone" talks about other AddOns causing issues. Therefore, I undertook a massive operation to narrow down which AddOn was causing the issue.
1. Backup everything using Minion.
2. Delete all AddOns through Minion having it delete the SavedVariables.
