I just came back to ESO after a few years off. I used to use alpha gear, but I thought it would display an icon for the gear when you switched, and same for bar swapping - or am I getting this mixed up with another mod? Also is this mod being maintained? If not, I may make some tweaks to it (I've already found a couple of bugs)....

Hey All, I haven't had time to update Combat Reticle for the latest ESO patch yet, but the current version works fine. You can either just run it as-is out of date, or edit the CombatReticle.txt file in the add-on folder and add 100020 to the APIVersion line - this will make it up-to-date. -A

Does it have same functionality as Dryzler's Taunt helper? Or is it compatible? No, this add-on doesn't show any target status. I haven't tested with Dryzler's Taunt helper, so it may or may not work. (I suspect it might work since it looks like that mod is applying an additional texture for the alert.) -A

Ah yes - I've had that happen. CR is currently entirely event-driven, so if no event comes in it stays in whatever state it's in. One fix might be to just add a very occasional (5-10 sec) poll to see if combat state is still active, but maybe there are events that should be caught that would tell me to stop combat (like zone change,...
