Inventory Insight issue?

Hey Weolo, heavy user of your addon here. I use this addon in conjunction with Inventory Insight to get the little icons at the bottom of the item tooltips. How are items locked after you post...

How are items locked after you post them in the AH? Say I post a sword. What happens to the sword I have in my inventory? I could easily delete it by the time it is sold through the AH.
