I was having the opposite problem. I turn down Dialog volume in the audio settings, and it works for ONE vendor or quest-giver then resets to 85%. Tracked it down to this addon resetting it.
But reading the comments below made me aware B&L has its own settings. You set the standard voiceover volume there, which overrides "Dialogue...

Can I make a suggestion though. Is it possible to control specific NPCs like the bards in taverns? I really like hearing them sing and this add on mutes them. If it's one or the other, I prefer not hearing the bankers of course. But if it can be done, I wouldn't mind listening to...

Ah, it's because the string.match using %a doesn't recognise anything but the basic alphabet. It also looks like it's not straightforward in getting a pattern that will pick it up. I'll have to test some more stuff out.

I tried to ignore the recipe "langsam gerösteter Chaurus", but the addon ignores "steter Chaurus" so the recipe still got marked... ;)
Did you type it in, or use the link? Try typing in the full recipe name (with Rezept: in there) maybe.

Using version 1.8.4, I am no longer getting check marks. Now for recipes that are unknown I get a white box where the check mark used to be. For recipes that are known I get a black box. Not sure what's up with this.
hm, try shutting down Minion and restarting the game client.

fyi...when using guild store search addon, I get a UI error with sous chef chef listed. Turned off Sous Chef and guild store search works. Go figure.
With 1.8.4? Can you screenshot the error?

This is a slightly simpler implementation, because unless you specifically have both the recipe scroll item, -and- the recipe result, you will not be able to fill out the details appropriately, unless, I guess you type it out from the Provisioning panel. The way you implemented it does not work as I suggested. I suggested to add a map which will mark them correctly even if the translation is fubared.

In French I had to go back to 1.6.5 as it works as intended (marks the unknown recipes, and fade them on other characters, clicking show who knows it).
1.6.7 and 1.6.6 seems to not work at all in French, at least for recipes (marks all recipes as unknown and clicking does nothing).
Both 1.6.5 and .7 seem to work well in marking...

Heh, I feel a little bit responsible for suggesting the guild page scrolling, but it works great. I can cycle down and up all on the roster screen. When it hits the "creating/joining" info page it kicks the others off of roster, but that's not a big issue.
