I cleared down my own saved variables file and was able to replicate that bug. Should be fixed now.
I also added a new tooltip option which shows on equipped items. You can turn it off in the options if you don't want to use it.

I have added the ability for you to pick and choose which alts are included/compared in TraitBuddy.
Bring up the addon options and choose which characters you want and don't want. This is totally dynamic so if you change your mind you don't need to go off and log on to your alts again. Change the option as much as you like.

for the chat link i patched my addon yesterday with the necessary hook in it. Tooltip section, Do I Keep It For Alts. It's commeted, you'll find it easily.
