Description
Adds pins for completed and uncompleted quests to the world map. (Including not yet started quests!)

Features
  • Uses new functions introduced in API update 6 to automatically get a list of completed quests, that means you can start using this addon at any time/level and it will "know" which quests you have completed before.
  • Tooltip shows the quest name and additional info (Cadwell's Almanac quest, skill point reward)
  • Manually (un)hide ((un)mark as completed) quest pins by clicking on it
  • Map pin filters for completed, uncompleted, started and manually hidden quests (you can find them to the right of the map after clicking on the funnel icon)
  • Subfilters to only display Cadwell's Almanac quests and/or quests that reward skill points
  • Different map pin filter settings for PvP and PvE possible (e.g. quests not displayed in Cyrodiil but still in other zones)
  • Changable pin size and pin level
  • Languages supported: English / German / French

Commands (enter in chat input)
  • Open settings menu
    /questmap
  • Manually (un)hide all quest of the currently displayed map (zone/subzone/dungeon/etc.):
    /qm hide
    /qm unhide
  • Display list of quests for the current map:
    /qmlist *arg*
    *arg* can be 'completed', 'uncompleted', 'hidden', 'started', 'cadwell', 'skill' or empty (for last used argument)
  • Get current map and coordinates (for bug report etc.)
    /qmgetpos

Notes, Please read!
  • Make sure you install the AddOn before starting up ESO, else the pin icon files may not be loaded.
  • There are quests that are missable. Yes I know that sucks, but the missable quests are only (I hope) quests that introduce you to a new region (e.g. quest "To Firsthold"), that's why it's possible to have some few unfinished quests with no related quest giver in each zone.

I've found a quest that isn't marked at all.
It's "Dear Cousins" and the quest start is at
Icehammer's Vault: 87.9464.18 (eastmarch/icehammersvault_base)

EDIT: Just noticed that the add-on has that quest marked in three places outside the dungeon but on abandoning the quest none of those locations have the quest available.

I'm working on it. I already have a lists with the German and French quest names, just have to format it and also translate the other parts of the addon (e.g. settings menu).

While developing the AddOn I noticed a similar situation though: When you copy the AddOn to your directory while the game is running the icons still are not loaded after reloading the UI. I'm not sure if that's my fault, but I think ESO reads all the icons only when starting the game and not on every UI reload.
Maybe the same happened for you, you installed the AddOn while the game was running (startet with Sorien's ESO Launcher) and then you tried again by restarting ESO. Try it again, make sure it is activated then restart ESO with Sorien's Launcher and see if the Icons still are not showing.
Ack, you're right. I had tried it after installing with the game running and it is now working for me after launching it with the add-on pre-installed. Very sorry for the mix up there and absolutely loving your add-on.

The github releases are always in the same state as the releases here. I usually combine mutliple minor fixes/commits into one release (for each fix I update the addon, but not yet the version number).
I didn't think about minion though, I'll list the full changelog directly from now on

Could you please update the changelog for the addon properly instead of only adding the github link. The github releases only show 1 release, but you have released several versions at esoui.com.
And Minion won#t show the github page information :-)
I'd like to see on 1 view inside Minion what was updated so I don#t have to search for new or changed stuff.

Hm, first of all, you have to know that there are quests that are missable. Yes I know that kinda sucks, but the missable quests are only quests that introduce you to a new region (e.g. quest "To Firsthold"), that's why it's possible to have some few unfinished quests in each zone. The screenshot for Vulkhel Guard has quiet many maks though, for me it looks like this:


(The two on the bottom are Undaunted quests which I haven't done yet, the 4 on the top right are all "New in Town" which, according to a Esohead comment is a removed quest)

I don't know why you see so many uncompleted quests there.. I'll see if I can find the reason for this.

Exactly, it may be possible someone completes a quest but doesn't start the followup yet. But I see why ratlanta requested this, the quest givers won't be there until the first quest was finished which could be confusing. I'll note it and when I have enought time I can look how hard it would be to add this feature.

This doesn't work with Sorien's ESO Launcher (Graphics Enhancer).
The add-on settings appear fine and the two filters appear in the map screen but it doesn't display any markers and there's no error message either.

And like I said, it's not just on subzones, for instance this pic of Shadowhaven showing 2 quests even though I've already completed them:


Nearly every zone has those (!) markers for quests I've already finished. I think just 3-4 zones (besides all the little island ones) are totally completed. The rest all show the (!) markers, even though I've finished them all.

When there are 2+ pins close to each other it's not possible to select one (LMP bug?)
Key "show" must be defined if you expect that you hit more then one pin with mouse click.
I made a few changes to click handlers and now it seem to be working better:
