Re: Re: Is multiple accounts supported?
1- definitely meant normal use of seeing list of chars on Acct1 from Acct1 (not being able to see chars from Acct2 on Acct1 -- although if you did add all chars on same megaserver from accounts on same computer, that would be awesome. 2- what I had happen was bought new 2nd account few days ago, created 4 chars - sent lots of dupe recipes via mail from acct1 to acct2, and after using --> noticed when I logged back onto acct2 it seemed to forget what my chars knew until did full relog of them all Maybe this was user error, some minion updates including some libraries that were updated, etc. But as of now I can flip between accounts at will and retain info on separate char lists as expected. so all good - but, please see #3 below re: possible reason why 3- I just replicated, twice, that when I click on a stack of recipes (meaning same recipe with multiple copies - say a stack of 5 of same recipe), sometimes the little green checkmark saying it is a new unknown recipe for that char does not go away. It will also not say on the known by list in the recipe card that my char that just clicked that stacked recipe knows it, even though just clicked to use. If I log out of that char at this point, and login with another char on same account, it will still not show that I know that recipe on char I had previously used recipe with. The weird part is this doesn't happen every time I click on a new recipe that is in a stack - only sometimes. Many times, clicking stacked recipes will register I used it, make green check mark disappear, and show the known by list properly on recipe card. But also frequently, it doesn't do this. I've sort of lived with this on my main account for awhile, but now notice and tested this on 2nd account. What I've done to replicate this, and the fix, is: a) if clicking to use unknown recipe in stack properly registers, with check mark disappearing, then all good. stop. b) but if clicking to use unknown recipe in stack doesn't register my char now knows it, and green checkmark still stays there + known by list on recipe card doesn't show me knowing it ---> if I logout right then, to another char on same account, then that next character will also see on the known by list on recipe that my prior character doesnt know it (e.g. basically, the using of the recipe didn't seem to take) However, if I don't log out with the char after using recipe in stack and not seeing the green check mark disappear, but instead do a /reloadui, then it will properly register that I know it, make the green check mark disappear and the known by list updates correctly Basically, summary is: if one of my chars clicks on unknown recipe that is in a stack of multiple copies, and it doesn't update right then and there, I have to do a reloadui before logging out, otherwise it seems to not show I know it when I login with another character. I craft on 18 chars on main acct so get lots of dupes of recipes, and hence have lots of stacks of same recipes. It's not super common to have the clicking to use recipe not register, but I 'd say it's not rare either. Maybe it's some weird interaction of addons I have. Not a big deal at all, now that I've zeroed in re: logging out before doing reloadui |

Re: Is multiple accounts supported?
However, the two accounts are treated separately in terms of various functions of the addon. The list of characters that know a given recipe will be composed only of characters from the current logged in account. Characters from your other account will not show up in any of the addon's lists, unless you switch to the other account. Separate lists of characters ARE maintained in the addon's saved variables folder however. So long as both accounts are logged in on the same computer using the same game client with the same saved variables folder (computer account) the addon should maintain these account-specific lists of characters and recipe progress across logins between accounts. If you feel you log into one account, and into each character to save their data, then log off and into another account, and into all those characters, and find if you log off again and log back into the original account that first list of characters and progress is somehow not present in the addon, that is definitely incorrect behavior. I just checked my saved variables file and data for both of my accounts is indeed present after logging into both. Is it possible you were expecting to see characters from your other accounts when logged into the current one and it created a conflict of expectations, or are characters indeed being deleted? Definitely let me know if this behavior persists! Now that you mention this, I am considering adding a new account-wide option to enable showing ALL characters from any account PER MEGASERVER. That way you would still be able to use it as per account, or per megaserver, but would never be able to combine characters from NA and EU accounts (because they can't mail things to each other). |

Is multiple accounts supported?
Not complaining if not, understand probably a small, niche scenario.
But ever since I got 2nd account (on same computer), when I switch from main account to 2nd account, none of my characters show my tracked recipes (e.g showing list on recipe who knows and doesnt know) until I do a full cycle of logging in/out with each character (kinda like after a major update sometimes when we have to relog all our chars to retrack). It seems like basically whenever I switch from main to 2nd account, the add-on forgets all my tracked recipes of what character knows what, until I relog every character. |

I don't know if this is a Minion issue, or another addon that has a wrongly versioned LibPhinixFunctions still set to depend on LibStub overwriting my latest version. Either way the above seems to fix the issue for people having it. |

MRL buttons on crafting stations
Do you think it would be possible to make the MRL buttons movable horizonatally (maybe via a slider in addon settings?) on crafting station scenery? Or even reduce the space between them? Or maybe the option to just hide them?
I also use Votan's Searchbox* which allows me to search amongst only the recipes I know in the currently used station's crafting skill, and the search input field is in the very topleft corner of every window (inventory, bank etc) so it's basically under the MRL buttons, kinda makes it inconvenient (both not impossible) to use them both at the same time. edit: might be only an issue on the provisioning station, on the others they are at different heights edit2: it seems it's Votan's Improved Provisioner that adds the search boxes to crafting stations

Icons not appearing anymore?
So I just noticed today that icons are no longer showing up on items in my inventory anymore to show if I do or don't know a recipe. Is the new update bugged?

Re: A new LUA error
@acapela - Sorry to hear you're having difficulty. As for the first thing you describe (load screen flashes) I have experienced these sporadically as well. Unfortunately this is nothing that addons can influence and is in fact a server-side "rollback" due to high load in the current "shard" or some other glitch and is something ZOS will have to address. Sometimes addons that spam messages to chat can cause your character to get booted from the server to the login screen, but this is not the case here. It might be worth running an integrity check/repair from the ESO client.
As for the second thing, this error happens when you visit a cooking station with the cooking writ in your quest log, craft one of the items required, then exit without crafting the other. It is probably why it seems random. This is fixed in the new version I will upload later today. |
