PLEASE HELP! I've still been dealing with my 28 year old brother passing and now my father is in the hospital with a major stroke that has paralyzed his entire left side. My disability was reduced to $629 recently, and trying to make it between home and where he is (about 100 miles one-way) is tough. I need to be with him though. If there is anything you can do to help it would mean a lot. (6-19-24) |

Re: Re: Re: Can't Cook!
Caution: YMMV, use at your own risk, I am not the/an add-on author, I'm new to Lua, etc. To restore add-on functionality, I replaced the following (found at line 1438 in the original code or line 1440 in the version posted by t31os): Code:
local sub = ESOMRL.ResultMaterials[itemId].sub Code:
local sub = 1 if saved ~= nil then sub = ESOMRL.ResultMaterials[itemId].sub else saved = 0 end I hope the author releases an updated version, but the edits required are fairly extensive so it may be some time.

Please update!
I hope you can get a chance to update this amazing addon.
This is truly what I wanted in a provisioning addon bar none, and no other addon does it this way. |

temp fix
The solution provided worked initially, but does not any longer.
Any other suggestions? |

That's, of course, the downside to using any add-on -- at some point it *will* break as the game changes, and when it does, the author may no longer be playing or have the time to update it. And you rarely realize how dependent you become on some of these features. I didn't realize just how much certain elements of this add-on had become a significant part of my ESO gameplay. (To the point where if it's NOT updated in the next week or two, I might well find myself learning LUA and creating my own add-on, albeit with a rather different coding approach…) |

Is this going to be updated? I tried using the code listed in pasebins below, doesn't work for me, still massive lua errors.

Re: Can't Cook!
For convenience, here's the modified code from my install in a few pastebins.
Note: I also can't recall if MRL needed an API bump, but if so, open up MasterRecipeList.txt and adjust the API version to read 100012 (this is just to avoid the need to use the "Allow outdated addons" option - ignore if you don't mind).

Can't Cook!
This breaks cooking for me. Whenever I go to a cooking fire and access it, i get this error:
Code:

update?
Any chance the author could post a quick note as to whether or not he is working on this add-on? I check daily as I really miss the convenience of the add-on, and if it isn't being fixed, I'll look for another option. I know it's only been a week, but it feels like forever lol.

You can fix the loop by placing an additional condition around it.
This area chokes because the StationChecking array/object does not have data inline with the additional count of recipes following the latest update. Code:
local cv = StationChecking[c].cv for i = 1, #StationChecking[c].tr do if StationChecking[c].tr[i].writ == 1 then countWrit = true break end end for i = 1, #StationChecking[c].tr do if StationChecking[c].tr[i].track == 1 then countTrack = true break end end setWritColor(recipeListName, c, cv, countWrit, countTrack) Code:
if( StationChecking[c] ~= nil ) then local cv = StationChecking[c].cv for i = 1, #StationChecking[c].tr do if StationChecking[c].tr[i].writ == 1 then countWrit = true break end end for i = 1, #StationChecking[c].tr do if StationChecking[c].tr[i].track == 1 then countTrack = true break end end setWritColor(recipeListName, c, cv, countWrit, countTrack) end
