i still can't set icon to action bar.
in selection menu everything is fine, but when i select any icon nothing changed.
AlphaGear.lua looks fine too:
["icon"] =
{
[2] = "AlphaGear/twohand_aoe.dds",
[1] = "AlphaGear/twohand.dds",
},

but action bars display default icon

Message spam on unequipping gear

Hello,

Love the new look! Great addon, keep the awesome work!

Just wanted to say that using the 'Unequip Entire Gear' function kicks you from the server due to excessive message spam. May want to add a delay between operations, or something.

Don't know how other addons deal with this issue.

Thank you!

Best wishes,
Leeux.

@A_Darklore: First ... wrong, second ... wrong. You dont use the full potential of AlphaGear, you dont read tooltips. The window size is nearly the half of AG3, the right click menu also gives the possibilty to insert current weared items. Why you will set a number??? Dont scroll ... you dont see them ... but you can. This window size is the smallest possible size to keep a overview.

Hm, then I must be doing something wrong.
I associated two bars with an item set (which is empty as I only use it for skill switching) and quickly switch skills using hotkeys (since it's not possible to define hotkeys for skillbars).
When I use overload and assign some skills to the bar it works until I use an AlphaGear hotkey to load a different skill set (out of overload).
Next time I use overload I have the skills of bar 1 in the overload bar.

Original versus New

In all honesty, I preferred the original version better mainly because of the ease of just being able to Shift-Right click to save current bar... now I have to drag and drop each and every ability from the Skills menu to this Addon- it just creates an additional step that wasn't necessary in the original version. There were so many things to like in the original that in some cases this update has been a step backwards IMO. I'm not saying I don't appreciate the work, just saying that sometimes things are OK as is and shouldn't require a complete revamp just to make improvements.

Second, the window layout sizing is HUGE in comparison to the original and looks way too busy. The previous layout was smaller and well laid out, I could see loadouts at a glance, now there is all this scrolling involved. Would be nice to be able to set the number of rows- not all of us need 16- and being able to reduce it and having the size scale based upon the number of rows we choose would be appreciated.

Hi there,

I really like the current version of AlphaGear but have a small problem.
My main is a sorcerer and I use Overload quite a bit which gives me a third skill bar.
Unfortunately, whenever I load a skillset using AlphaGear the third bar is overwritten with the skills on bar 1.
Is it even possible to somehow support the third bar (either add it to AlphaGear or just ignore it)?

Getting an error

Any time I mouse over a set button on the selector toolbar, I get this error:
Code:
user:/AddOns/AlphaGear/AlphaGear.lua:1132: attempt to index a number value
stack traceback:
	user:/AddOns/AlphaGear/AlphaGear.lua:1132: in function 'AG.TooltipSet'
	user:/AddOns/AlphaGear/AlphaGear.lua:272: in function '(anonymous)'
This is only for buttons that have a set assigned. Like I have sets assigned to 1 and 2 only, so only those buttons produce the error.

@Rosenhaald: Try to replace the function in the AlphaGear.lua at line 948 - 963 with this:
Lua Code:
  1. function AG.SwapMessage()
  2.     if OPT[6] and AG.setdata.lastset then
  3.         local pair,tex,set = GetActiveWeaponPairInfo()
  4.         set = AG.setdata[AG.setdata.lastset].Set
  5.         tex = 'AlphaGear/nothing.dds'
  6.         if set.gear ~= 0 then
  7.             if AG.setdata[set.gear].Gear[pair+(1+pair)].id ~= 0 then tex = Zero(set.icon[pair]) or AG.GetSetIcon(set.gear,pair) end
  8.         end
  9.         AG_SwapMessageIcon:SetTexture(tex)
  10.         AG_SwapMessageNumber:SetText(AG.setdata.lastset)
  11.         AG_SwapMessageName:SetText((Zero(set.text[1]) or 'Set '..AG.setdata.lastset)..'\n|cFFFFFF'..(Zero(set.text[pair + 1]) or 'Action-Bar '..pair))
  12.         PlaySound('Market_PurchaseSelected')
  13.         if not OPT[7] then AG.Animate(true,true,2500) else AG.Animate(true,true,false) end
  14.     end
  15. end

until i release a new version, at patch day.

4.03 - Issues

Created a gear set and 2 action bar sets. Set them as Set #1. Did not name it. Moved the on-screen icon (that opens the add-on) down to the bottom of the screen. Used default Options. Quit ESO and came back into the game on same char. No problem. Created 7 more gear sets. Gave a name to Set #1. Exited to the char chooser. Came back onto same char.

1. UI Error. Checking type on argument filename failed in TextureControlSetTextureLua stack traceback: [C]: in function 'SetTexture' ... AlphaGear.lua:957: in function 'AG.SwapMessage' ... globalapi.lua:185: in function (anonymous)'
If press 'Dismiss Error' button it does not go away. Clicking close 'x' closes it, but it comes back in 1 second. Forever. Re-logging didn't help. Got rid of it permanently by going into Options and unchecking show icon. [First I bound opening the Add-on to a Function Key - if I didn't do that could I ever open it again?]

2. Left-clicking the number to the left of a Gear Slot I populated gave a similar error
UI Error. Checking type on argument filename failed in TextureControlSetTextureLua stack traceback: [C]: in function 'SetTexture' ...AlphaGear.lua:957... in function 'AG.SwapMessage' ... AlphaGear.lua:507 ... in function 'AG.LoadGear' ... AlphaGear.lua:111: in function (anonymous)'
This error is dismissible but repeatable. It does not occur when right-clicking, or when you left click on the gear number when the gear sets are all highlighted to assign it to the Set.

3. In Inventory, the gold bullet to the left of Set items is midway between the item and the next item. I.e., its center is a 1/2 slot too low vertically.

I wanted to get this report off to you so haven't played around much with the sets but haven't noticed any issues with them.
