Missing Tables
I've been running TTC for a long while now; I took a few weeks break a bit ago and there was a time when I returned I logged in without updating my addons. Finally got around to it; updated the TTC client and everything but I am still getting this error even though I am logged into the client. I've been successfully using the addon alongside the client for over a year. However, now, I am not getting tooltip information and I am getting the error as though I am not running the client?

Recent Update
Hi, I just wanted to thank you for updating TTC. Previously, I (like some others here) had issues with personal listings showing only my @ID & the location being "blank" when viewed on the website. I had my own workaround for it, but it was only useful when I logged out for the night (every zone swap, /rl made it blank again). However, with this most recent update, I haven't had this issue anymore. I visit a banker to refresh the listings, /rl, and the information stays there regardless of what I do. It's a timesaver, really - I no longer have to manually refresh it every night. Hopefully it doesn't break again!

Hey guys,
I have noticed something strange about the client. When I open up the desktop client the display color/contrast/saturation whatever of my monitor changes slightly. When closing the client, it's normal again. Does anybody experience the same and/or has a solution to it? I don't get what is going on... |

When downloading don't just replace the exe. Replace the whole folder including the addon.lua files. And if you are using sandbox make sure it doesn't revert it back to the previous state. |

Glad to hear it's the web portion and nothing on my end! Was worried that perhaps I've been doing something wrong. I'll keep a watch on the web portion. It'll be nice for us Linux and Mac users to be able to use TTC! <3 |

Client needs a restart every few minutes
with message (in German):
"Server location has chanced- please restart client." Sometimes client works the whole game, sometimes needs a restart every few minutes. What happens? Are you haunted by internet police? That's why I had to detach the connection with TESO autostart after starting client because I got a lot of error messages. |

TTC Client run: Auto Update fails?
Good morning:
Sorry if this has been discussed, but it's nearly 3am and this has been bugging me for a few hours now, and a quick search didn't seem to show anything useful. I've been using the TTC Client exe for a while now without issue. Since a recent reboot (windows updates), attempting to run the client throws a dialog box: "Latest version is required to ensure TTC's data accuracy. Do you want to update now?" y/n Clicking yes, the auto updater starts up, and immediately fails with this error: "Updater has encountered an error and is force to shut down. Please check your network connection and anti-virus settings." The client then closes without executing. I've tried unpacking the latest EXE to the local folder, and doing so gave me a new login window for which I logged in successfully, and the client worked until it was closed. Attempting to immediately restart returns the earlier error message, and the updater cannot function. I'm a bit stymied here. Bitdefender has whitelisted this folder already, so there should be no issue there. A weird thing: If I get the prompt to "do you want to update," and I just drag that window off and login to the main window, the login itself is successful, and I presume the client is working. Running the updater directly also returns the same failure msg. Any tips here? Again, if it's been explained, sorry if I missed it, please point me in the right direction. Thanks! |
