Global trade search tool needs YOUR help.

By running our addon and client. Your guild listings as well as any item you seen by using guild store search function will be automatically upload to the site for other people to search and browse. The collected data will also be used to generate price info for everyone~

If you want to contribute more to the community or if you wish to help boosting up your guild's sale by uploading an entire guild's listings, you are more than welcome to do so!

Here are some screen shoots of the site, addon and client

Install Instruction:

1. Download and unzip the files under ESO addon folder (default is Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns) Or you can install it with Minion
2. When you are playing ESO, run the client executable (client.exe) under Client folder
3. Enjoy the game

In game API
1. To get TTC's price info simply do TamrielTradeCentrePrice:GetPriceInfo(itemLink)
This will return a TamrielTradeCentre_PriceInfo Object
Code:
{
       Avg,
       Max,
       Min,
       EntryCount, --# of listings
       AmountCount, --total # of items
SuggestedPrice --suggested price low. Suggested high = SuggestedPrice * 1.25
}
2. To get TTC's internal item information (various internal Ids)
TamrielTradeCentre_ItemInfo:New(itemLink)

Q:How does this addon work?
The addon collects all the item listings that you seen in the guild store and uploads them to the site. The site then uses all the data collected by all players to generate price info for everyone.
You can also use the website to search for the location of an item using way better filter than the default Guild store GUI. But it is not guarantee the item is still there since low price items tends to get sold fast. You will have to use your own judgment based on the last seen column to predict whether its still available.

Q:How is the suggested price calculated?
1. Remove outliers
2. AVG(price of the lowest 30% items) * 0.8

Q:Whats the difference between average/suggested price vs sales average?
Average/suggested price are calculated using listing data while sales average is calculated using actual sales data. Both listing and sales data are collected from all TTC users across all guilds.

Q: How fresh is the pricing data?
Very fresh! Naw im kidding, its based on Data from yesterday

Q: How big is TTC
It uses around 6mb of RAM for pricing info and around 20mb at most for entries you have seen.

Detailed Instruction
FAQ
4.18 Release Log:
1. Added back the price to chat language options
2. Added a steam button in Client's start options
3. Opening a second instance of the client will now bring the running instance to front instead of panic

Known issues:
1. Font change that came with U41 broke the unicode encoding. TTC's additional language setting will cause the game to freeze. As a result all language related settings are removed from the settings page until this is fixed.

2. No longer adds divider if no price info is available

Client 3.24 Release Notes:

4. Fixed an issue causing last updated string to show up in native client's locale instead of target locale when using price to chat with a different locale than the native one.

Client 3.23 Release Notes:
1. Fixed two compatibility issues with Awesome Guild Store (more to come later)
a) Price not showing in store page when AGS is enabled
b) UI error when trying to purchage item when AGS is enabled
2. Updated the logic for personal listings to be consistant with community scanned ones. Last seen for personal listings will only get updated when user opens the guild store and click on the listings tab or when user lists new item/remove existing item from the store. (Used to be based on user's last login. However ZOS's API seems to skip some entries and thus causing the cached version to be unreliable. Causes more confusion than good to use the login time due to this)
3. Fixed an issue causing price to chat to show up multiple times when the language of the current client's locale is selected
4. Uses sub menu for price to chat when there is more than one language selected
5. Removed the one time guild store scan due to point 2

P.S. due to some backend structure change the saved settings will be reset. Your price data will stay safely since its downloaded from the server.

Client 3.22 Release Notes:

3. Added the ability to do price to chat in different languages regardless of client's locale

Known issue: The new ESO Guild Store UI has a bug which it will not update the UI listings when the search is initiated with API calls. Thus you are going to see the search result panel stay the same thru out the whole scan process.

P.S. New items will be added in batch. Thanks for your patience.

5. other small fixes

Client 3.10 Release Notes:

Arrow Tagging Item Tooltips With

"Price table outdated. Please run Client.exe again to update it." has become a nuisance. Also, the two additonal lines often make the dialog box -- in which an item tooltip is shown -- too long to fit within TESO HUD window on the computer display screen.
  1. First, I run the Firefox browser, which fetches the TTC website "home page" in a window (tab) that contains the interface for using the TTC search feature.
  2. Then I run the TTC program client.exe.
  3. Usually the first line of its loading output is either "You have the latest version of the price table." or a notice that the price table is updated. But, sometimes it does not mention the price table at all.
  4. When I minimize the client.exe window, it minimizes to the System Tray.
  5. Then I run TESO game client to start a session of playing the game.
  6. When the TTC add-on modifies an item tooltip, it often adds the notice quoted above. Whether client.exe mentioned the price table does not seem to matter.
  7. Quitting the TESO game client ends the session.
If the price table becomes outdated during a session, then I cannot run client.exe again without first exiting it. When I run client.exe again, it might or might not display a notice that the price table has been updated. Regardless, the add-on continues to display the "outdated" notice on item tooltips.

IIRC, reloading the UI does not eliminate the tooltip notice. I am unsure whether logging-out of a character will affect whether the tooltip notice is subsequently displayed after the price table has been updated.

Frankly, it seems to me that it should be possible for the TTC client to contact the website periodically for updates to the price table and download any that occur. Or the website should be able to "push" the updated price table to the TTC client.

Exclamation Updating the TTC client.exe application

Thanks.
As far as I know, Minion is useful only for installing updates to add-ons which are already installed. What you need to do is:
  1. Download the current version of the TTC add-on.
  2. Locate and delete the folder ...\My Documents\The Elder Scrolls\live\Addons\TamrielTradeCenter.
  3. Then extract the downloaded .ZIP file contents to the location ...\My Documents\The Elder Scrolls\live\Addons.
  4. The extraction utility program will create a folder for the TTC add-on (in which to store the executable source code of the add-on).
  5. The TTC addon folder will contain the current version of client.exe which is in the folder ...Addons\TamrielTradeCenter\Ciient.

Please close the client before updating using minion. Minion can't update it while its being used. remember to check notification area at bottom right of your task bar.

Client not starting due to error

When the client.exe starts, I get a message on the desktop saying "Waiting for Debugger". When I click on it, the syncing/upload/download whatever dies. What is needed next? This just happened today with no previous errors.

==UPDATE

Oh nevermind. When the addon updated, the client started working again, thanks!

If I understand correctly, ZOS now caches the guild sales data locally in the ESO client? So if I'm right, if the user has MM already, the sales will have already been loaded locally, and a second add-on requesting the same data from the API will not negatively affect the server.

But there's no point making TTC into a clone of MM. The whole advantage of being able to run TTC and MM alongside each other is that they show different things (supply and demand respectively), and if you see a significant difference between the two, that is an indication that one or the other has some bad data.
This is actually on my todo list. But due to the amount of people abusing the system this has to be delayed.

It would be GREAT (but don't know if it's possible to be honest) to have an option on the right click menu of the item in my inventory that automatically fills in the search field of the web page, so that I simply have to press "search". Anyway, great addon, thanks.
Unfortunately its not possible. Addon has absolutely no IO right outside of the game.

uespLog collects sales data then uploads it to their DB (which you can also search on esosales.uesp.net), so it's like a merge of TTC and MM. The only issue is that for some reason it breaks the guild stores when I use it with AwesomeGuildStore and AGS is more important to me so I haven't used uespLog for a long time now.

But it wouldn't be a clone of MM, because this addon is server-based and accumulates data from all users. The benefit of of having average SALE prices is that it would be an average across ALL guild stores in Tamriel -- not just the 5 to which I belong. MM itself is worse than useless for people like me who do not belong to any big trade guilds.

(Of course, that is predicated on TCC being able to scan everyone's guild sales history despite the above-mentioned change in the ZoS API.)

(Of course, that is predicated on TCC being able to scan everyone's guild sales history despite the above-mentioned change in the ZoS API.)

Hi, just a suggestion from a new user: I found that most of the times the prices TTC shows in the popup of an item (the AVG, Min, Max values) are kinda unprecise if I search the item using the web browser. I then find myself constantly alt-tabbing to the web page to search for the item itself everytime I want to sell something. It would be GREAT (but don't know if it's possible to be honest) to have an option on the right click menu of the item in my inventory that automatically fills in the search field of the web page, so that I simply have to press "search". Anyway, great addon, thanks.

I found the cause of the error when not for all items TTC indicates the price.
if you install the ru (russian) game language in the launcher, then when loading the eso game, the TTC addon will fail, namely, show the price only for a part of the items.
if in the launcher you select the language of the game en (English), then when you start the eso game, all TTC prices will be displayed correctly.
please report this bug to the developer of the TTC addon.
This is due to desync between the version used by you and TTC project. This problem should go away by itself after the official Russian localization arrives. (next patch)

Open up the client (it might be hidden in your notification area at the bottom right corner of your task bar) and click on settings on the top menu bar. Change the path to your steam link. simply selecting the steam shortcut should work I think. if not then look at the shortcut's path it should be something like steam://rungameid/xxxx
