Global trade search tool needs YOUR help.

By running our addon and client. Your guild listings as well as any item you seen by using guild store search function will be automatically upload to the site for other people to search and browse. The collected data will also be used to generate price info for everyone~

If you want to contribute more to the community or if you wish to help boosting up your guild's sale by uploading an entire guild's listings, you are more than welcome to do so!

Here are some screen shoots of the site, addon and client

Install Instruction:

1. Download and unzip the files under ESO addon folder (default is Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns) Or you can install it with Minion
2. When you are playing ESO, run the client executable (client.exe) under Client folder
3. Enjoy the game

In game API
1. To get TTC's price info simply do TamrielTradeCentrePrice:GetPriceInfo(itemLink)
This will return a TamrielTradeCentre_PriceInfo Object
Code:
{
       Avg,
       Max,
       Min,
       EntryCount, --# of listings
       AmountCount, --total # of items
SuggestedPrice --suggested price low. Suggested high = SuggestedPrice * 1.25
}
2. To get TTC's internal item information (various internal Ids)
TamrielTradeCentre_ItemInfo:New(itemLink)

Q:How does this addon work?
The addon collects all the item listings that you seen in the guild store and uploads them to the site. The site then uses all the data collected by all players to generate price info for everyone.
You can also use the website to search for the location of an item using way better filter than the default Guild store GUI. But it is not guarantee the item is still there since low price items tends to get sold fast. You will have to use your own judgment based on the last seen column to predict whether its still available.

Q:How is the suggested price calculated?
1. Remove outliers
2. AVG(price of the lowest 30% items) * 0.8

Q:Whats the difference between MM's price and TTC's price?
TTC uses the listing price and the MM uses sold price. By statistic and Economic, those two numbers should align given enough sample set

Q: How fresh is the pricing data?
Very fresh! Naw im kidding, its based on Data from yesterday

Q: How big is TTC
It uses around 6mb of RAM for pricing info and around 20mb at most for entries you have seen.

Detailed Instruction
FAQ
4.17 Release Log:
1. Fixed an UI error for Spanish client

4.16 Release Log:
1. Adopts to the new guild history API that was introduced in U41
2. Added a slash command /ttc and a button binding to clear data
3. When launch ESO after TTC option is enabled. TTC will now launch ESO and shutdown the current instance if another TTC instance is already running instead of panicking
4. Fixed various NPC names in other locales
5. Localization update
Known issues:
1. Font change that came with U41 broke the unicode encoding. TTC's additional language setting will cause the game to freeze. As a result all language related settings are removed from the settings page until this is fixed.
2. Guild history API is very buggy right now. Sales history data might get impacted because of this.

2. No longer adds divider if no price info is available

Client 3.24 Release Notes:

4. Fixed an issue causing last updated string to show up in native client's locale instead of target locale when using price to chat with a different locale than the native one.

Client 3.23 Release Notes:

a) Price not showing in store page when AGS is enabled
b) UI error when trying to purchage item when AGS is enabled
2. Updated the logic for personal listings to be consistant with community scanned ones. Last seen for personal listings will only get updated when user opens the guild store and click on the listings tab or when user lists new item/remove existing item from the store. (Used to be based on user's last login. However ZOS's API seems to skip some entries and thus causing the cached version to be unreliable. Causes more confusion than good to use the login time due to this)
3. Fixed an issue causing price to chat to show up multiple times when the language of the current client's locale is selected
4. Uses sub menu for price to chat when there is more than one language selected
5. Removed the one time guild store scan due to point 2

P.S. due to some backend structure change the saved settings will be reset. Your price data will stay safely since its downloaded from the server.

3. Added the ability to do price to chat in different languages regardless of client's locale

Known issue: The new ESO Guild Store UI has a bug which it will not update the UI listings when the search is initiated with API calls. Thus you are going to see the search result panel stay the same thru out the whole scan process.

P.S. New items will be added in batch. Thanks for your patience.

It says "Login successful" but nothing further. It continues to work fine on my laptop so I copy/pasted all the files in live\AddOns\TamrielTradeCentre\Client to overwrite the ones on my desktop. I ran the .exe without launching ESO and it successfully uploaded data to the site, but I checked and it was maybe a week old or so. I tried refreshing with new data but after I launched ESO it went back to just saying "Login successful" without pushing my listings.

So then I decided to reinstall completely, and that's where I'm getting puzzled. I deleted saved variables from Minion, uninstalled, and then ran the game. I was surprised to see the popup when you log in that says you need to launch the .exe to pull the item list localization files. I double checked the enabled addon list and TTC was still checked as running. So I suppose Minion didn't properly uninstall?

Then I tried uninstalling manually (deleting all TTC files from \live\AddOns and the .lua from \SavedVariables), but the same thing happened again-- popup telling me to launch the .exe and still enabled in the addon list.

----

Anyway I'm pretty stumped. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is it probably Minion that's malfunctioning?

(I'm guessing this is why my sales have been particularly bad this week lol... just goes to show how clutch your addon is, thank you for continuing to support it!)
After a reinstall you need to launch the client.exe to grab the price table, otherwise ttc has no data to go on. If you get odd issues in future, I recommend deleting "Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\TamrielTradeCentre\PriceTable.lua" as that will force the client to grab a fresh copy.
That's the thing, it wasn't a reinstall, it was an uninstall that apparently didn't go through.

In any case, I just reinstalled, launched client.exe, then ran the game, and it still told me item table is missing. Then I deleted PriceTable.lua and tried logging in again, but still tells me I need to launch the client.

It's almost like the game forgot where the addon is installed or something?
When you delete the price table, you need to make sure the client.exe is not running, delete the pricetable.lua, then re-run the client.exe (don't do this while looged in to eso). It should then re-download the price table (and say so in the client window). When you run the game it will ask you to scan your guild stores (only after deleting the saved variables), but shouldn't mention running the client.

Here is a batch file I use to kill the client, delete the price table, and relaunch the client:
Open notepad, paste it in and save as a .bat file (make sure it isn't .bat.txt)

Code:
taskkill -im Client.exe
powershell -Command "[Environment]::GetFolderPath('MyDocuments') | Out-File 'docspath.tmp' -Encoding ascii"
set /p DOCSPATH=< docspath.tmp
del docspath.tmp
del "%DOCSPATH%\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\TamrielTradeCentre\PriceTable.lua
start "" "%DOCSPATH%\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\TamrielTradeCentre\Client\Client.exe"
Huzzahhhhh the .bat file worked! My listings are uploading again :')

Thanks so much! So I guess that means the .lua was corrupted or something?

I might have to make a sticky note about this one. There is a ZOS bug where ESO client would create two addon folders, one is the regular \Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns and the other one is random. ESO might decide to use one over another randomly and that causes all the addon data to be out of sync. causes addon not get updated and causes TTC to read the wrong saved data file which could be couple days old.

usually happens when ESO client crashes or some **** happened when ESO tries to save data. TTC needs to know which server you play on to grab the latest price. So you would need to start the game once to get it working again.

Mine's done that a couple of times, usually when my PC crashed while game was running... I now backup all my addon/game settings regularly...

Huzzahhhhh the .bat file worked! My listings are uploading again :')

Thanks so much! So I guess that means the .lua was corrupted or something?

Code:
taskkill -im Client.exe
powershell -Command "[Environment]::GetFolderPath('MyDocuments') | Out-File 'docspath.tmp' -Encoding ascii"
set /p DOCSPATH=< docspath.tmp
del docspath.tmp
del "%DOCSPATH%\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\TamrielTradeCentre\PriceTable.lua
start "" "%DOCSPATH%\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\TamrielTradeCentre\Client\Client.exe"

its new items or old?
Psijic Order and other newer motifs and items are not showing up as well.

Looking forward to an update!

EDIT: Looks like the new motifs might just be untradable, probably because they are from an expansion/DLC and ZOS wants you to buy those to be able to get them.
added motif 66: Silver Dawn and troll king . not sure about Psijic Order. Are those tradable?
Psijic motifs are already in TTC Ex Psijic Chests
