* Aura: As soon as the aura gets displayed, a cooldown will start at 0 and run for 10 seconds (remaining aura display time).I sugget you play around with this setting a bit to get an understanding of how it works.
* Trigger n: The cooldown animation won't last for the remaining display time, but as soon as the aura gets displayed, it will check for the duration of the ability specified within trigger 1, ignoring all other triggers. In our example this ability has a duration of 30 seconds. The aura will display as soon as the ability has 20s left. The cooldown spiral will not start at 0, but it will already have travelled 1/3 (20 of 30 seconds) and travel for another 1/3 of the icon (10s) before the icon fades.
* Trigger n: Automatically take the ability icon of the ability that has been specified in Trigger n.2. Display conditions:
* Manual: Select the icon manually.
* (De-)Buff checks a buff or debuff on the target specified below.Ability ID: A numeric value that identifies a specific buff, debuff, effect or ability (which one is looked up is contextual to the selected trigger type).
* Ability used is for checking ground effects: Let's take the Inferno Staff's elemental blockade ability as an example - the ground effect has a duration, but it is not treated as a buff or debuff on you or a target. So the game has to check if you just used an ability matching the ability ID specified below. If that ability has a duration, display the aura for that time.
*Combat Event is for checking for buffs and debuffs using the combatlog. There are some effects ingame that can be put on you without being recognized to be a buff/debuff by the game client. An example would be the 2nd boss on Maw of Lorkaj: As u might know, the boss puts an effect on you, that makes you either being on the "light" or on the "shadow" side. Those effects are not displayed as a debuff (and hence not detected by srendarr and other buff/debuff trackers). But you can workaround that by checking the combat events and simulate a buff/debuff. This Setting is for professional users only, as you will have to pick the effect IDs from the combatlog.
* player: Check for the ability specified above on your character.Check all Ability Ids: All abilities consist of one base ability and two potential morphs (using different names) with 4 ranks each. That results in 12 ability IDs for one ability. Let's say you want to track a debuff on you. Due to the fact that you never know an attacker's ability rank you would normally have to create one condition for every ability ID. This can be avoided by simply entering one of the four ability IDs for the desired aura and switching this control to "true". WARNING: Due to Zenimax not having properly localized all ability names, this might sometimes not work.
* target: Check for the ability specified above on your current target.
* font color- 2 new aura types (experimental):
* border color
* automatic icon selection
* COOLDOWN animations (spiral) for Icons!
* actionbar- new trigger functionality: selfcast only

Progress bar
Hello!! Really nice addon, exactly what I was looking for.
But my progress bar is not "progressing", it is just a bar with an icon and a timer, showing the full width for the entire time. Thank you.

I've been trying to figure out how to set an aura to track CC Immunity on an enemy in pvp. It works in pve areas but seems the buff events arent sent in pvp areas so the aura doesnt work. I've tried the standard CC Immunity (38117), as well as 98316 (Unchained, the buff you get from Break Free) but neither will show on the enemy. Guessing this is just impossible in pvp areas? Or maybe at best you'd have to either set it manually for every opponents name or it'll reset the timer everytime anyone in the vicinity gains CC immunity?

Thank you very much for updating. I've only just discovered this addon, and it's great: versatile and hugely useful.
I've been encountering a small bug (or at least I think it's a bug). Here's when it occurs: I've been setting up two auras per buff or debuff. Both are only displayed while in combat. The first aura has its transparency set to 50% and shows when the buff/debuff is not active (= "Effect not active: true"). The second aura is set to 100% visibility and shows when the buff/debuff is active (= "Effect not active: false"). Now. When I edit the first aura, both operator and value of the trigger belonging to the second aura disappear. Much as if that one was also set to "Effect not active: true", even though the value remains set to "false". The aura stops working correctly then. To fix this, I need to switch the "Effect not active"-setting of aura no. 2 to true, then again to false. As soon as I touch aura no. 1 after that, the issue resurfaces. I ... hope this was somewhat intelligible. As I said, it's not game-breaking by any means, just something to keep in mind while setting up one's auras. |

Hey, Letho! Thanks for the update.
One request: when you print the messages about updating saved variables (etc), can you add a prefix? Like, I use this: Lua Code:
That makes it possible to know which addon said it, because by default I just saw "UPDATING..." from yours, and had to search for the strings to figure out who was doing that. |

Because, uh ... my, uh, friend. My friend might have not realised that they needed to do that, until a little whiles after they started working on their addon. Yeah. Friend. |

Hello I noticed a little bug.
When you create an aura with the following conditions: -Show icon when buff is NOT on -Only show icon in combat Sometimes the icon will show when out of combat and I have to use the command "/am lock" to hide it again. Please fix this bug :3 I'll donate 20$ once this bug is fixed because this addon is a life saver. |
