What is PhinixUI?

A collection of addons which, working together, provides the most comprehensive and stylish UI experience possible. Popular features such as buff and debuff tracking, Minimap, combat mods, damage meters, group and raid frame overhauls, inventory management and style tracking, and more, all synergize in a minimally invasive way to give you what you need without all you don't.

Most important, PhinixUI does all the configuration for you. All you have to do is install the addons you want from the core list (recommended to install all of these), any you want from the optional list, and using a simple in-game interface, PhinixUI configures all of them for you instantly! It will automatically detect whichever supported addons you actually have installed and populate the list accordingly. You can even select which addons you want to have it configure and which to leave as-is.

1.16:
- Updated for Scribes of Fate.

1.14.4:
- Updated API for Blackwood.
- Minor code maintenance.

1.14.4:
- Fixed an error introduced by a previous change.
- Updated API for Flames of Ambition.

1.14.3:
- Updated several modules to account for addon updates (ShowMotifs, LootDrop Reborn, etc.).
- Updated API for Stonethorn.
- Further module updates (Combat Metrics, etc.) to follow.

1.14.2:
- Improved the Wykkyd's Toolbar module hopefully avoiding issues.
- PLEASE NOTE: You will need to have the Azurah and Wykkyd's Full Immersion addons installed and configured by /pui to get the correct mini-compass position.
- Completely recompiled the addon description page. Now every addon in the core and optional lists have their individual required libraries (with up to date verification of versions) listed (and linked) under their download links. Some addons require an older version of a library even though there is a newer version available, and sometimes backwards compatibility does NOT work (because the addon specifically looks for the name of the old version). This is accounted for in the links.

1.14.1:
- Fixed errors related to Wykkyd's Toolbar.
- Added config support for Combat Metrics.

1.14.0:
- Removed dependency on Libstub.
- Fixed some things that were causing errors.
- API bump for Greymoor.

1.13.9:
- Added support for ParlezPlus.
- Updated Azurah config to load ParlezPlus dialog frame location if detected.
- API bump for Elsweyr.

https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info2383-ParlezPlus.html

1.13.8:
- Added complete language support (need better human translations!).
- Modified Foundry Tactical Combat module to use raid frames as well as group frames by default.
- Migrated global functions to LibPhinixFunctions for speed and streamlining of code. Please manually install the LibPhinixFunctions library.
- Minor code maintenance.

1.13.7:
- Fixed anchor position incorrect for Clock (Tamriel Standard Time). Re-run /pui for this module to fix.
- Minor code maintenance and format changes.

1.13.6:
- Completely rebuilt for Wrathstone.
- Rebuilt each individual module to account for current mod configurations & saved variables.
- Updated list of Core components, added Core Libraries, updated Optional components.
- Updated install instructions with more detailed information.
- Many tweaks and improvements.

1.13.05:
- Minor tweaks and update for Clockwork City.

1.13.04:
- Minor update to Clock - Tamriel Standard Time module to fix moon size and position.
- Minor tweak to Destinations module icon size.
- Minor tweaks to Show Motifs position and various other small adjustments.

1.13.03:
- API bump.
- Updated libs.

1.13.02:
- Updated to new Skyshards saved variables format, fixes errors.

1.13.01a:
- Fixed reversed buff/debuff colors in Srendarr module.

1.13.01:
- Updated for the latest Srendarr (Srendarr 2.3.8+).
- Minor tweaks to Azurah profile (nothing noticeable).

1.12.9d - 1.12.9f:
- Updated for more new changes to Srendarr.
- Re-run /pui and select at least the Srendarr config!

1.12.9c:
- Updated for the new Srendarr settings and features.
- Foundry Tactical Combat is now used only for the small group frames.
- Updated some Azurah configurations, specifically raid frame group layouts.
- Fixed a bug that prevented moving Srendarr frame #2.

1.12.9b:
- Updated ShowMotif module to latest version (eliminates errors).
- Updated Votan's MiniMap module. Should align properly now.
- Small tweaks to FCOItemSaver module: Enables Ornate icon.

1.12.9a:
- Tweaked Azurah module to improve subtitle appearance after latest update.

1.12.9:
- Updated Azurah module with new mover option configurations.

1.12.8:
- Added proper module support for Action Duration Reminder (so it appears in /pui to configure).
- Above provides minor tweaks to shift bar positioning for optimal spacing appearance. Run /pui and run at least the Action Duration Reminder module after this update (if you use that addon).

1.12.7:
- Added support for Action Duration Reminder.
- If using both Srendarr and Action Duration Reminder, and the setting to show the shift bar is on, the target debuff bar from Srendarr will now get bumped up along with the health bar.
- Many improvements to the Loot Drop module. Please re-run /pui at least for this addon!

1.12.6:
- Added support for Votan's Fisherman.
- Modified Harvest Map with configuration for Fishing pins. Using custom icon for better appearance (was worm bait and hook).
- Set Destination fishing pins to hiddenn (but kept configured in case enabled), since the fishing hole database of Destinations is fixed. Using Harvest Map instead since this will add fishing holes to the database as you find/use them which is prefered, plus can be expaded with Harvest Merge. (The pins used can always be toggled from the right panel under the Pins tab from the main game map).

1.12.5:
- Fixed a bug with the Harvest Map module that would result in saved data being lost when re-running /pui. Sincere appologies for missing that.

1.12.4:
- Fixed the problem where different screen resolutions could result in the Minimaps, Tamriel Clock, and Wykkyd Toolbar not lining up properly.
- Changes to FCO Item Saver module filter icon behavior for clarity and consistency. Also all filters now default to off.
- Moved several addons from the Core list to the Optional list. Please review and re-run /pui in-game.
- Minor tweaks and improvements.

1.12.3:
- Improved settings for Harvest Map. Allows SAVING of all node types, so you can build your database, but does't SHOW all types (only chests, sacks, troves, etc.) to save performance. Can easilly enable showing other nodes from the main map, filter settings (on the right) and all saved nodes of all types will be there.

1.12.2:
- Automatically sets required game settings to hide ultimate numbers (handled by Azurah), hide the weapon indicator (handled by weapon charge alert), always show the action bar, disable loot history (handled by LootDrop), and use consolidated auto loot (doesn't set auto loot for stolen).
- Detects Combat Cloud and automatically disables built-in combat text when using the "Show All" option to avoid duplicates/overlapping combat text. Enables default combat text when Combat Cloud is not installed or set to "Incoming Only."

1.12.1:
- Now properly handles setting the correct custom UI scale (very close to default which is 1, custom is 0.97202700). Just barely a noticable change that makes the overall UI "fit" the addons better.

1.12:
- Added support for Research Assistant.
- Tweaks to FCOItemSaver settings to mesh with above.

1.11a:
- Fixed ornate marked items unsellable and other issues in FCOItemSaver module.

1.11:
- Tweaked Skyshard size to be a bit smaller to fit the overall map theme.
- Rebuilt Destinations module with better sizes and overall appearance.
- Fixed issue with all Destination unknown pins looking like wayshrines.

1.10:
- Fixed obsolete variables causing errors with Destinations module.

1.09:
- Updated for One Tamriel (Update 12).
- Fixed issues with Harvest Map and Potion Maker modules introduced with One Tamriel.

1.08b:
- Fixed incorrect positioning of Poison Tracker icon.

1.08a:
- Updated API to latest.
- Updated libraries to latest.

1.08:
- Fixed some syntax issues that would cause bugs running certain configurations (Azurah, wykkyd's mods) for the first time logging into a character. All tables now have proper checks for initialization.
- Fixed a typo that was causing the configuration manager to reboot the UI twice even when not needed for the current selected configuration.

1.07:
- Major re-write. Added new UI app to manually select which available addons to configure. Helpful for telling the addon not to re-configure things like wykkyd's Macros or Outfitter once you have the base structure set (both now supported and unchecked by default).
- Included option to load incoming-only text with Combat Cloud, which is something not tracked well/at all by the game's combat text. Recommend enabling all game combat text when using this option.
- Improvements to Azurah config (Telvar/Infamy location).
- More general maintenance and tweaks.

1.04:
- Added support for Votan's Minimap, which I now recommend as the default.
- Minor tweaks and changed descriptions a bit.
- Harvens AS to LAM adapter to recommended addon list (to put Votan's mini map settings in the same Addon Settings section as everything else).

1.03:
- New configuration for AUI. Uses minimap by default (can be disabled in Addon Settings AUI Modules if you use a different map). If you enable the action bar module /pui will now automatically detect it and adjust the position for enchant and poison tracking. Must run /pui again after making changes to AUI action bar module settings.
- Horse feeding will now be disabled from the top toolbar if the current character has 60/60/60 training.

1.02:
- Updated Azurah quest tracker position
- Updated for new Srendarr time display options.

1.01:
- Created preliminary assignment for new Srendarr Prominent bars 1 and 2 and gave default positions.
- Will not appear unless you assign something to them in Srendarr options.
- Bar 1 is on the left of the player Bar 2 is on the right.

1.0:
- No longer in beta!
- Updated for new changes to Srendarr.
- No longer clears Srendarr blacklist/prominent settings when running /pui again.
- Minor layout improvements.

0.26beta:
- Added new options for Srendarr.
- Minor positioning update for Srendarr, Azurah, and Poison Tracker.

0.25beta:
- Added Potion Maker (for Alchemy Crafting) by: facit, Khrill, votan to supperted addons.
- Updated variables for No, Thank You and Fyrakin's Minimap.
- Various minor tweaks.

0.24beta:
- Updated support for new Poison Master version.
- Re-uploaded with a few minor tweaks to colors and the like.
- Re-uploaded with changes for new No Thanks You options.

0.23beta:
- Added support for Combat Cloud, for optional floating combat text.

0.22beta:
- Added support for AUI (only uses the minimap module) as an alternative to Fyrakin's Minimap for those having problems with performance. AUI has no border pins but otherwise is just as good and looks exactly the same. Make sure to check "Allow Outdated Addons." Only install Fyrakin's Minimap OR AUI, not both.

0.21beta:
- Added support for my new Poison Master addon.

0.2beta:
- Fixed an issue preventing Harvest Map routine from making changes. Re-run /pui in-game (PhinixUI does not affect existing pins).

0.1beta:
- Initial release

Update...

Hi all,

Sorry for the long time lack of updates on this. I removed the old dependency on LibStub and updated the API, and hopefully resolved the issues that were causing errors.

You will probably still need to run the config for the minimap you use twice to get the window position just right, but otherwise it should be working in the current client and Greymoor as it is working on the PTS currently.

Please do let me know if anything is still having an issue after the update!

I keep getting a lua error when running /pui pertaining to Wykkyd's Toolbar.

Code:
user:/AddOns/PhinixUI/modules/wykkydsToolbar.lua:95: attempt to index a nil value
stack traceback:
user:/AddOns/PhinixUI/modules/wykkydsToolbar.lua:95: in function 'PUIAddon.wykkydsToolbar'
user:/AddOns/PhinixUI/bin/AddonDB.lua:37: in function 'run'
user:/AddOns/PhinixUI/PhinixUI.lua:252: in function 'RunSelected'
user:/AddOns/PhinixUI/PhinixUI.lua:360: in function 'PUIAddon.XMLNavigation'
PUIAddon_MainFrameListFrameRunButton_MouseUp:6: in function '(main chunk)'

Also, only my healthbar is visible. I can't figure out how to make the other visible.

Wow I think about you every time I play this game. This was the first Addon I used when I started this game back in Oct-2016. I have seen you around in the Skyrim community and often wanted to bug you for an update but decided to let you come back to us on your own. And now you have, thanks for the update it makes me feel like I am the reason my UI looks this good, but I do tell everyone who will listen it's all you.

Sesoni,
I appreciate your efforts. I gave up on the PhinixUI and am using Bandit's.

  • The compass is skewed to the right side under the mini-map. I didn't install Wykkyd's Full Immersion as I wouldn't ever use it, would that matter?

Edit: I just watched your YT of the update to the Master Recipe addon & I think I see how the compass is supposed to look. Unfortunately, when ran the /pui it just moved the full compass bar over and didn't scale it to match the mini map.
  • With FCM Quest Tracker installed the quests aren't showing. I deselected that addin and the ESO quest tracker is showing up on top of the minimap.
  • The Looted Item list is under the Chat window. I didn't install the Lootdrop, Continued addon.
  • The first character I activated it on, the long term buffs, including Mundus effects were stacking over on the right with the short term buffs. On the second character, only the long term buffs like food, no Mundus, are displaying on the left of the minimap.

Unresolved issue - the magika and stamina bars are now missing and I have no idea how to get them back.
So I figured out how to fix most of these. I'll just start from the top and work my way down.

-You need the Full Immersion addon for the compass. It is what allows you to change the size and position. Unfortunately, it seems like you can only move it vertically at the time, likely an issue with the addon itself as it hasn't been updated in awhile. So while you can't put it under your mini map, you can just put it at the top where it normally is.
- Go into FCM Quest Tracker and switch it to default, that put it back in the middle of the screen and then just tailor it to suit your needs from there.
- I didn't install Lootdrop either as the addon has been abandoned and is horrendously out of date.
- Mundus appears to be hidden by default, but it can be turned on in the addon settings. As for misplaced buffs, I had that issue too at first, but running /pui on just srendarr and ftc seemed to fix it.
- For your stam and mag bars, you will need to go into FTC and re-enable them (just look for the resource options), or use FTC's version of them (which looks a lot better)

Hope this helps.

Question...

So regarding Lootdrop, Continued (All in One), which is long dead. It's ok to not have it with Phinix yeah?

Edit - Having some issues. I'm not sure what the native resolution is for this configuration, but a few things refuse to move no matter how many times you run it. Compass sits in the middle of the screen (You can't move it at all actually), quest tracker is nowhere to be found. DPS meter chills in the top left. Resource bars are MIA as we, and so forth.

I would also like to note that this is a clean install of the game and the only addons installed are the suggest ones from this addon.

This is very close to being a malware/virus add-on.

You've been warned.

While I can appreciate your frustration there is really no cause to get rude and adversarial. The very first step of the installation would have saved you all that frustration if you had actually read it and followed the instructions:

Installation:
  • The first step is to back up your current configuration. Locate your \Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\SavedVariables and copy either the whole folder or it's contents to a safe place.

Using addons is a cooperative effort. The addon authors themselves do a ton of work to actually code for everything they do, generally with the earnest hope of improving the gaming experience of others with no expectation of reciprocation or reward. The very least you as a user can do is read the instructions they have left you.

If you had then you would have a backup of your saved variables folder, which is where all the addon settings are stored, and you could just copy it back over the ones this addon edited to restore the original state.

Also, I have many projects and as you can see from the file info this addon has not been updated since Clockwork City. I may get around to it but the addon settings structure of the various other addons this one configures have likely changed significantly enough since then to make this fairly non-functional.

However, in the worst case scenario where you didn't follow the instructions and make a backup of your settings, instead of coming on here to berate me and issue warnings of malware, you might have described your trouble in civil and cool-headed terms and asked for assistance, at which point I would have gladly offered the following:

Go to your \Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\SavedVariables folder and delete the files for the addons that are no longer working properly, then reload the game and they will be reverted back to their defaults. If they aren't working after that it has nothing to do with this addon.

Deselect Harvest Map from the list, it seems that the new update broke the method he used to look at local variables in other addon save data, which he was using to see the display name data that Harvest Map stores I think. Just deselect Harvest Map, you will have to configure that one yourself

This is broken, right? Or am I just a goose and something else is broken.
I just got back to TESO after a year off! So not sure if it's the game, addon or something else!

Weird Placement

Votan's minimap seems to get placed just fine though.

My resolution is 3440 x 1440, if that helps.
Something I have noticed is that it sometimes fudges the positioning of stuff. (Like for me it would put my map in the wrong spot, buffs and things like that all in the wrong spots and sometimes overlapping) My workaround for it is to just reset it > log into the character and type /pui to load the list > Log out before you have it configure > Log back it and then type /pui again and then have it configure. This fixes weird placement issues for me, hope you have similar luck with it.

Does this support 21:9 screens?

I'm unsure if I'm doing something or it's just my screen since the attribute bars all get placed on top of each other in the middle, and Ravalon's quest tracker keeps getting placed near the middle too.

Votan's minimap seems to get placed just fine though.

My resolution is 3440 x 1440, if that helps.
