Eyefinity Support  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.2.1
by: Tinuviel [More]
Constrains the User Interface to the center monitor in Eyefinity / Nvidia Surround
If you don't know what these technologies are, this addon is not for you

Eyefinity support has been updated to work as a WykkydFramework extension. As such, the new version requires Wykkyd Framework. Once you install both, you must go to Settings -> Wykkyd -> Multiple Monitor Setup. From there, select (3) monitors and (2) as the target, then enable 'Multi-Monitor support'.

Version 1.2.0 + 1.2.1
- Adds two settings to override the bezel correction value. Can be accessed by Settings->Wykkyd->Eyefinity Settings. Note, you must turn on 'Override Bezel Correction' for your value in 'Bezel Width' to apply.
- Fixed hook into Wykkyd's 'Enable Multi-Screen Support' option. Will now correctly apply element changes when you turn multi-screen support on and off (most prominent when using bezel-corrected resolutions).
- Refactored code to be more maintainable.

---------------------------------------------
Eyefinity support adds mostly-complete fixes to the User Interface to make ESO compatible with triple monitor systems. Fixes the following parts of the ui:
  • NPC Dialogs!
  • Raid and Party frames
  • (Esc) Menu
  • Quest Tracker
  • All tabs in the main menu (Map, Social, Mail, Notifications, Help, Groups, Guild, Skills, Quests, Alliance War)
  • Equipped Gear
  • Main menu keybindings (etc, the [Alt] Quit)

Known Issues:
  • While turned on, you cannot resize the chat window. Attempts result in the window moving a monitor to the right (Not sure I can fix). You can get around this by going to wykkyd settings and disabling milti-monitor support, making your resize, then re-enabling
  • After log-off and log-on, the chat window may be shifted one monitor to the right.
Version 1.2.1
- Fixed conversation window bug when toggling multi-screen support on and off

Version 1.2.0
- Adds two settings to override the bezel correction value. Can be accessed by Settings->Wykkyd->Eyefinity Settings. Note, you must turn on 'Override Bezel Correction' for your value in 'Bezel Width' to apply.
- Fixed hook into Wykkyd's 'Enable Multi-Screen Support' option. Will now correctly apply element changes when you turn this on and off (most prominent when using bezel-corrected resolutions).
- Fixed errors and UI display issues when turning multi-screen support on and off. If you turn it off, then on again, the conversation window breaks. /reloadui fixes the problem (I'm trying to fix it)
- Refactored code to be more maintainable.

Version 1.1.4 Features
- Changes equipment tooltips to show on the right of the button, instead of the left.

Version 1.1.3 Features
- Fixes overflowing black backgrounds on the equipment, skills, and map screens

Version 1.1.2 Features
- Fixes accidentally broken non-bezel corrected resolutions

Version 1.1.1 Features
- Fixes support for bezel corrected resolutions

Version 1.1
- Adds support for bezel corrected resolutions
- Converted over to WykkydFramework. Changed scaling functionality to use Wykkyd's but hooked in Bezel correction and conversation fixes. (This should make the addon more stable)
- Minimized chat window fixed

If you are positive that Wykkyd Framework is set as an active addon and you are still not getting "Wykkyd Settings" in your ESO settings menu then I would suggest removing the addon from your addon folder and re installing the latest version of Wykkyd Framework.

When Wykkyd Framework is set as an active addon, you will get a "Wykkyd Settings" option in your ESO settings menu to configure all of the options that the mhframework addon provides. The screenshot below will show you exactly how it should look when active:

Sorry, I haven't gotten to it yet, maybe tonight.

What specifically is moving over? Other addons? I don't notice this with the default UI.
If so, I can try to turn off the correction on unload but it probably won't work. This is because addons may be loaded before or after mine is unloaded, so I can't necessarily intercept before an addon in unloaded and change it back. What is most likely happening are other addons are saving their positions relative to the screen, instead of relative to 'GuiRoot'. If that's the case, there's not much I can do.

I'll try that though, if you give me addon names.
Yes, it is other addons that are moving. And several of them respond somewhat differently than others, so I'll list the ones that I've found at this point and how they respond:

AchievementTracker: Movable to the left-most screen and will stay there until logout/quit. At next login it will jump right onto center screen at the same location it was previously on the left-most screen. However, if left sitting on the center screen, it will not move on login.

CombatLogStatistics: Movable to the left-most screen and will stay there until logout/quit. At login, the combat log will jump right onto the next monitor (even if it was previously on the "main" center screen). Also, if you attempt to adjust the size of the combat log, it will jump right onto the next monitor -- after which, you can move it back to wherever you like.

Craft Research Timer: Movable to the left-most screen and will stay there until logout/quit. At next login it will jump right onto center screen at the same location it was previously on the left-most screen. However, if left sitting on the center screen, it will not move on login.

Graphic Durability Presenter: This addon is NOT moveable to the leftmost screen. The reason for this is you can drag the UI for the addon wherever you want, but when you release the mouse button to set the position the addon immediately jumps right onto the next monitor (at that same position). This includes if you try to set the location to the "main" center screen.

Item Conditional Alert: This addon is NOT moveable to the leftmost screen. The reason for this is you can drag the UI for the addon wherever you want, but when you release the mouse button to set the position the addon immediately jumps right onto the next monitor (at that same position). This includes if you try to set the location to the "main" center screen.

ZrMiniMap Modified (and the origianal ZrMiniMap): At login, the minimap will jump right onto the next monitor.

Now, with those being listed, I realize that it's most likely going to be the way those particular addons were designed and has nothing to do with the Eyefinity addon. However, I figured that if it was something that could be fixed (and did not deal with the Eyefinity addon) you would be able to explain it in a way that I could take to these other addon developers to request fixes. And it may very well be something that cannot be fixed at this time regardless, and if so I'm still in much better shape than I was without the Eyefinity addon -- because OMG NPC dialogue fix!

It works! Awesome!
Thx a lot! This addon is superb. To bad ZeniMax couldn't integrate this from the begining.

This addon just fixes the user interface. Addons cannot control the FOV or the rendering in any way. This is a bug that needs to be fixed by Zenimax. The NPC chat part takes the communication window and stops it from spanning between the center and right screens.
Ah, ok. Thanks anyways still useful and good adoon, my bad for misunderstanding what all the addon does

I can't but help to keep thinking that with some extra work (a lot I guess) you could, like in some games, create a movable border that sets left-x boundry and right-x boundry for the standard left/right elements, and then as an extra cream on the strawberries, add handles to the other items, like compass, group, largegroup, health, stamina, magicka to make them movable as well, either via X/Y coordinates, or draggable.
I may think of adding something like this in the future. That would probably be as part of a separate, less 'eyefinity'-esque addon package that is aimed for a more widespread user base. I am not planning on making this type of addon in the near future though.

My next addon target will probably be an inventory system, similar to ArcInventory in concept. I want to fix the initial-load object ref exception first though.

Anyhow, this addon does 95% of everything I'd possibly want from manipulating the viewport, so you are in my book even cooler than this dancing banana:
