Dungeon Tracker
(Formerly Dungeon Levels)

(Click your flag to translate the page. Addon includes in-game support for all listed languages.)

REQUIRED LIBRARIES: LibAddonMenu

This addon adds completion and achievement information to dungeon (group and public) and trial tooltips, and overhauls the activity finder. It allows you to see quickly from the tooltip whether you have completed the global achievement for a group dungeon, public dungeon or trial, as well as visually tracking hard mode, timed trial, and no death achievements. Information is shown separately for normal and veteran versions. Also, for dungeons with multiple versions (I and II) the tooltips now show both.

Addon Settings contain many options to enable and disable various features. There are options for modifying map tooltips as well as the group finder and customizing the display.

There are many options and information you can track:
  • NEW: Click button to automatically select all dungeons for which you have not yet done the skill point quest at the LFG queue (can choose normal or veteran).
  • NEW: Show per-character group dungeon skillpoint quest completion status! (Thanks to the authors of LibUespQuestData which I referenced for the quest ID's.)
  • NEW: Shows current character's skillpoint completion for public delve tooltips.
  • Show a list of global dungeon achievement completion status on the Group Finder selection list tooltips.
  • Show a list of global dungeon/achievement completion status on dungeon (group and/or public) or trial map pin tooltips.
  • Show current characters' group challenge skillpoint completion status on public dungeon map pin tooltips.
  • Show global completion status of the achievement to defeat all bosses on public dungeon map pin tooltips.
  • Show global progress towards the meta achievements to complete all group and public dungeons in each faction on all tooltips.
  • Show missing dungeon description text Zenimax created to the specific dungeon finder tooltips in a style-conscious way.

Known limitations:

You will need to actually discover a group or public dungeon or a trial in order to see extra information in the tooltip. Addons like Map Pins MAY allow you to see the tooltips without visiting (needs testing).

Gold donations are always welcome!

Hi all, I’m back and working on addons again. - Changed the way group dungeon map pin tooltips display information for dungeons with more than one version: Instead of stacking both the I and II information and causing the tooltip to cover or even extend past the entire screen, looking cluttered and terrible, you can now press (and hold) shift to switch between version I and version II information when viewing map pin tooltips for those dungeons.

Version 1.02a:

yup, no worries there - i know how to view both, i'm just having an issue where part I is not being marked off as complete:

1) complete part I of dungeon, receive Conqueror and Vanquisher achievements for part I. part II is now marked off as completed, even though i haven't done it yet.

2) then, complete part II of dungeon, receive Conqueror and Vanquisher achievements for part II. part II still shows as completed, and part I still shows as not being completed.

all achievements definitely showing for both parts, yet it's still not tracking for dungeons that have multiple parts. not sure why! i think Wayrest Sewers is the only one that displays properly. i also disabled every addon but this one just to double-check, and the problem persisted.

screenshots here (milk chai is the character i have been using):

Due to the way map wayshrine tooltips work the addon is only able to display one list of achievements at a time, even though the default pin text still shows "version 1 and 2." If you hold shift THEN hover over the dungeon, you will see the version 2 achievements populate. Mousing over without shift shows the version 1 achievements.

I am thinking about changing this behavior to anchor a custom tooltip next to the default one that shows the version 2 achievements at the same time, however in the meantime that is how you view the version 2 stuff for the dungeons that have them. Hold shift then mouse over.

EDIT: There have been some issues in the past with the game no registering certain achievements as actually complete. However the addon can only go by what the game tells it. If you go into your achievement book and look up the achievement in question, if Dungeon Tracker doesn't show it then it wouldn't show there as complete either.

hi! i'm having a weird issue with map tooltips specifically! please note that none of the below applies to the list in the group finder - those all display properly :)

i first noticed it on Elden Hollow I and II map tooltips - after completing Elden Hollow I (and receiving Conqueror and Vanquisher achievements for both), it marked off Elden Hollow II as being completed on this character.
completing Elden Hollow II later on didn't change anything. part I still shows as uncompleted, even with the achievements logged.

i checked in more detail, and it seems that while regular dungeons with one 'part' are being tracked correctly, none of my dungeons that have a part I and part II are tracking correctly. it's only showing that part II is completed, when i always completed part I first.

i do have all of the affected dungeons discovered properly. i cleared my saved variables and reinstalled both the addon and the dependencies.
my partner is having the same issue as me - we have the same addon setup.

thank you for the addon!

Trifecta

...on the other hand, adding trifecta is a bit a path down a rabbit hole. Because why stop there, while there are so many other achievements.

And there are other addons that are meant to track all the funnies. The ones I know only show stuff for current character though. And that's fine, because having all achievements for all characters would be clumsy.

This addon is great for a fast glance "who has not done this dungeon yet", so maybe best to keep it simple. Specialization has its merits

Still grateful for the arenas

No, some (newer) dungeons have a separate achievement for getting hm/speedrun/nodeath on ONE run. That's not a multi-achievement. That's a separate one. Included just in case. Better to provide too much than too little
Should you want to include the trifecta thing (where available) I can get the id's for you.

Well. *I* wanted arenas tracked. Only fair I did as much of the work as I was able to. Once I figured what's needed and how to do it, that is.

I can do it again for other stuff if you need something to make your addons better I find this kind of activity relaxing.

Yes, those are the correct achievement ID's. I included the function DTInfo(cat, scat, i) in the addon for help finding those easily. If you type /script DTInfo(11, 4, 1) for example you can get the 1st achievement (i) in the Rockwood sub-category (scat) of the Blackwood main category (cat). To get achievements for the 1st sub-category set scat to nil. Sometimes you have to trial and error the cat number to get the right category since the list isn't numbered exactly in the order it appears. it seems.

Anyway, I also have 'debug' lines in the main addon file that can be un-commented to show specific data needed to populate the zoneId. For dungeons and trials this is hooked to the wayshrine functionality. If you uncomment line 533 and .reloadui you can get the nodeId when moving the mouse over the trial map pin (it is 468).

No need to do it yourself though. I just posted an update with support for the Rockgrove trial.

Well, that was fast. I think I found the right achievement ids for Rockgrove, but I don't know where the "nodeIndex" comes from, or I could do a proper patch:
Code:
nA = 2985,	vA = 2987,	fP = 0,		hM = 3007,	tT = 2986,	nD = 2988,

Swapped tracking tooltips in dungeon finder

The latest two dungeons (Red Petal Bastion & The Dread Cellar) seem to be swapped in the dungeon finder, at least for normal. The map tooltip is correct. I haven't completed a Veteran to be able to check yet.

Edit: Tried turning off all other addons and removing Documents\eso\live\SavedVariables\DungeonTracker.lua

On the other hand, you've added them, and Hoft hasn't updated the Bandit's tracking for these dungeons yet, so thanks.

Edit: Also, is the Rockgrove trial supposed to be showing a tooltip? I can't seem to get it to, despite actually running over to the entrance.

Thanks for the heads-up. Lots of addons to update; looks like I messed up packing this one. Just uploaded the corrected version.
