FEATURES

Nirn Auction House allows you to trade with anyone across all of Nirn with no listing fees or tax.
When using NAH you simply pay the ESO postage fee when you mail a sold item.
NAH is a global auction system, unlike the guild store you will be able to list, watch, view, bid for items and buyout items. Option to get notified by email when you sell an item.

Auction Buying and Selling Functionality

--Ability to post an auction with only starting bid, no buyout price. (Auction Length: 7 days)

Posting Auctions / Selling Items

- Right click menu to auction items in your inventory(can auction/cancel items directly from your inventory, crafting bag, or equipped items)
- Visual Marker in inventory for items that are listed for sale (displays Quantity for sale)
- Auctioned Item will be locked if that item is lockable (helps to prevent selling/dismantling/destroying)
- Order tracking so you can see all your auctions and status of bids
- Fulfill orders by a click of a button - add-on will automatically send and COD item to the buyer (Items need to be in your inventory!)

Buyer / Seller Protection
- Buyer Protection (If seller doesn't fulfill trades seller will lose ranking each time, when ranking goes too low account is banned)
- Seller Protection (If buyer doesn't pay for trades buyer will lose ranking each time, when ranking goes too low account is banned)
- Client account authenticity tokens
- Buyer can only bid/buyout items if you can afford them

General Auction Information

Install Instructions:

1. Download and unzip the files into your ESO addon folder (default is Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns) Or you can install it with Minion
2. When playing ESO, run the Server Link ( PC: NirnAuctionHouse.exe Mac: NirnAuctionHouse.app ) if it's not already running
3. Sell More Items by reaching more people

Q: What's the function of the Server link (NirnAuctionHouse.exe)?

This program allows the addon to communicate with the Nirn Auction House servers, Allowing you to post auctions and bid on auctions that others have posted.

Without the Server link (NirnAuctionHouse.exe) no one would know which items are in the Nirn Auction House as this data is provided by the server. Somehow you need to know what others listed. That info is provided by the addon in-game, as each user using it will send the data to your SavedVariables and then this file(contents of it) will be sent to the server (just like TamrielTradeCenter does as well with its client.exe).
Afterward, you are able to know what is being sold etc.

Without the Server link (NirnAuctionHouse.exe) you would have no new listings available, no new items, no other player's listings etc.

Statements from ESO Devs about Trusting COD sales.

CoD (Cash on Delivery) is an option in The Elder Scrolls Online's mail system. By using this, you can send an item and ensure that you will receive gold in exchange via mail. You must attach an item to the mail, and you can set a gold amount desired. The receiving player will then have to pay the specified gold amount to be able to detach the sent item.

When CoD is selected, the only gold that should be removed from your bank is the applied postage, which is calculated based on the attachments and the size of the selected CoD. Once the recipient chooses to accept the mail, you will receive the CoD amount. If the recipient refuses, you will receive the mail back along with the attachment, but you will not be able to reclaim the postage amount.

I don't know if the reason that this happened, but it might be that 1 person bought about 10 on 15 items back to back. But I do know that several items that I had in stock there were only 1 of them.

EDIT 1: I have also noticed that when I am buying items that the item is being reproduced in buy tab after I mail the gold to them.

EDIT 2: The only way to remove the items I have sold and mailed, and any items I have bought and paid for is to cancel all items in my sell tab.

EDIT 3: have not updated this in awhile. Under EDIT 2, It does not work all the time. It will delete some of the items but not all.

I really dislike that

If you check out the options, there is an option to 'Sync' multiple entries ( not sure what it is called ) toward the end of the list. After you enter multiple items to sell or you bid or buy out an item you must 'sync' to post the entries.

What 'sync' does, as far as I can tell, is to write to the saved variables file and then transmit the new listings to their website for posting. Sometimes it may take several minutes to post items. You will know when items have posted by a little 'price tag' is placed in front of the item.

I hope this helps clarify some of your questions

It's perfect for me.

I'm a solo player, don't do group/guild stuff, so don't want to be forced to join a random guild just to buy & sell stuff.

if you are saying that you only joined a guild to buy & sell stuff, then maybe joining a guild is not what you really needed to do, and using this add-on is perfect for your limited wishes?

I assumed it was a troll. I'm a member of a large trading guild, and I can say that my sales from this aren't in any way associated with my sales from that guild.

but you can disable the auto update function,
in the options menu. for one or for all addons.
