Version: 1.1.9.1
by: thelegendaryof [More]
Version 1.1.9.1 - Released!

New Features as of 05/31/2014:

  • User editable Report-Templates. With Dynamic Variables support
(see "Report-Templates.lua" for a full list and description what they each do).

  • WYSIWYG Template-Editor. Edit Report Templates on the Fly.

  • Addon-Support via an API. As simple as a cake.
(see below for a simple example how to use it)

  • UI-Revamp. Still looks ugly. But is better accessible
and has improved functionality (Dropdowns - yay).

  • This is the Last Release before 1.2 which will bring the History
and Multi-Target-Report (yes! this comes sooner then expected!)

Addon-Support via API - Usage Example:

Lua Code:
  1. local FastReport = LibStub("FastReportAPI-1.0")
  2. local players = 'Player 1, Player 2, Player 3, Player 4'
  3. local text = "(Time: {time}) I want to report those Players because they are constantly spamming!"
  4. local addon_name = "MY ANTISPAM ADDON"
  5. local addon_desc = "Report Spammers from MAA all at once"
  6.
  7. FastReport:Report(players, text, addon_name, addon_desc)

FastReport adds the urgently needed functionality to

Fastly Report any Player without having to type their name

or clicking through a few Menus.

Just Press a Key and

the last targeted Player gets prefilled automatically

and the Report Window opens.

It has been made to quickly report any Teleport-Hacker (and similiar) without having to type their Name manually.
Just target them and press the Key you bound to Fastreport or type /report and it will open the Report Window with the Playername prefilled.

You dont have to stay on target - you only have to hover them ONCE.

It also works from a way wider Range afar then holding F and Selecting Report!

What it does:

  • Adds a Keybind to Fastreport the last Targeted Player

You dont have to stay on him - it wont overwrite unless you relog or Target another Player!

  • Adds an HUD for the Current Target

  • Advanced Automatic-Tracking of the Target Players Details (like Level, Map, Position and Time)

  • Adds /report Playername

If no Playername has been specified it will use the last player you targeted or if you didn't target anyone yet it will open just the Reportwindow

Use this Addon to fastly report any Hacker or Bot you see to help ZOS!
Version 1.3 (Milestone 3 - Release after Milestone 2)
  • Group-Report. Press and hold a key and hover multiple Players. Their Details get collected and they're all added in ONE go. With an option to remove any accidently selected Players beforehand manually. No multiple Tickets for reporting a Group of Bots ever again!
  • Force Report in case the native UI fails to work
  • Outputs a Warning if the reported target is to old (time) and/or is to far away
  • HUD - Measure Distance to the Player (over the complete Map)

Version 1.2 (Milestone 2 - No yet released. Coming next)
  • Enables the History GUI
  • Sortable List with clickable Players and automatic Template-Switching
  • Adds a Timer how long you want to hover an Target before it get 's tracked (Default: Instant)
  • More clever Automatic Tracking (as in no Tracking when you're AFK and someone runs in Front of your Mouse Cursor)
  • More Settings for the HUD and the Window (Save Position, Scale ...)

Version 1.1.9.1 (CURRENT/BUGFIX)
  • Included Garkin 's Bugfix for the recent API-Changes.

Version 1.1.9
  • User editable Report-Templates. With variable support
(see "Report-Templates.lua" for a full list and description what they do).
  • WYSIWYG Template-Editor. Edit Report Templates on the Fly.
  • Addon-Support via an API[/color].

Version 1.1.8
  • Update for the new API

Version 1.1.7
  • Important Bugfix. Reporting via Keybind and the HUD should now be working properly again
(Buffer was messed up and some Events were globalized and named really retarded while they really shouldn't).

Version 1.1.6
  • Bugfix for Detail-Window to take UI-Scale properly into consideration.
  • Known issues: Target HUD and Target Recognition seem to be fraked up for some people. I'm actively working on that. If you have any issues with those roll back to Version 1.1.4 till I have them sorted out.

Version 1.1.5
  • Fixed the Detail-Window layout to resize correctly on all screen-sizes up to 1440p
  • HUD position is now saved across sessions
  • HUD will now auto-align depending on it 's position on the screen (also across sessions)
  • Added option to hide the target-details in the HUD

Version 1.1.4
  • Notice: Modified the default behaviour of /report. It will now display the "Default"-Template if you use it no matter if you use it with a name or not. This is for people that want to use it as a manual shortcut to fastly report not only the last targeted player. The Tracking History will later on still show the "Tracking"-Template if you select a Player from there. I will also introduce an Default-Selection for each Command later on. To get to see the "Tracking"-Template right now either bind a key to "Report Last Targeted Player" or enable the HUD and press the Icon.
  • Bugfix: The Time will no properly display the current time if you don't want to report a tracked Player
  • Notice: I'll try to revamp the HUD a bit in the next release (position and stuff)

Version 1.1.3
  • Moved Templates to Report-Templates.lua you can edit them there with variables (see the File itself for detailed Infos).
Probably the next release will bring the Edit feature to the Settings Panel as well.
  • Modified the Standard Template for it to look like this as a Subject in Reports:
"Dear Support-Team, I've met a suspicious Player on my Travels. Player-Name: wuliutirt [Incident: 123456-000000]"
  • Cleaned up the code greatly and optimized it for speed and security

Version 1.1.2
  • Options to Hide/Show the HUD and Tracker Window added
  • Saves added (Position isn't saved yet sorry!)
  • Minor Bugfixes

Version 1.1.1
  • Minor Bugfixes

Version 1.1.0 (Milestone 1)
  • Adds an HUD to see the currently saved Target
  • Advanced Automatic Tracking of the targeted Player 's Details
  • Report Template
  • Add an History to see the last X targeted Players,
with a Timestamp and an Option to report them from there.
(currently only internal enabled, GUI is disabled right now)

You can find them on the Starting Isles - those Players keep porting around all possible Mining Nodes.

Appearing - Mining - Disappearing within seconds recently.

I met them quite often already and don't want them to succeed in this Game.

I wouldn't call out for it if I wouldn't knew this isn't possible the last MMO
that had that exact Problem was GW2 where they ported to all POI 's n' stuff
(you can search Google for that Info, it 's not a lie).

And even if those got sorted out this Plugin is quite useful because you do 't have to get within Interaction Range like while pressing and holding F and then selecting Report.

And you don't have to stay on target (just hover them once and it 's good).
