Description
Have you ever been in a situation where you need more skill points but you have no idea where to get them? Well today is your lucky day! Urich's Skill Point Finder provides a graphical interface showing all of the skill points you have (and haven't) earned throughout the entire game. You can show or hide the window by binding a hotkey or by entering the slash command. Slash command information is below.

Please Note
From Version 5.1.0 you need to separately install: LibTableFunctions-1.0 and LibAddonMenu-2.0

Localization
Localization for Russian, German, French, and Japanese is included. I speak only English so I am very sorry if a translation is incorrect. My only available source was Google Translate. Please message me if you see a translation that can be improved or shortened where space is an issue. Also feel free to provide a complete translation for another language if you would like to see it added to a future update.

Slash Commands
  • /uspf - Show or hide the USPF window.
  • /uspf help - Display help information in the chat window.
Known Issues/Complications
  1. The Folium Discognitum is a scroll that awards two skill points on use. Because the Folium is a scroll and not a book, it is not possible to determine if if you have earned those points besides comparing the number of earned skill points with the number of expected skill points + 2. There is an override in the settings menu if this information is not correct for your character.
  2. There are skill points awarded upon completion of tutorial quests for Morrowind and following chapters characters. If you skip the quest you'll get the skill point but the addon will not be able to determine that. There are override options in the settings menu for these skill points if this information is not correct for your character.

I've never been a werewolf, and I'm going by how many skill points I have available to spend when I refund all of them at the shrine. Skill resets are on sale for 1g until tomorrow, so I've reset them all for the first time in 4 years.

I only listed FD/Morrowind/Summerset to rule those out, because those list as 0 on the addon and that is correct; this is a character from day1 who took eidetic memory.

The only non-crafting skills with "points" in them are Diplomat (Imperial), Finders Keepers (Thieves Guild), Blade of Woe (Dark Brotherhood), Soul Trap (Soul Magic).

My question was whether those are where my four missing skill points (352 points available vs your addon reported 356 points), or if I have an issue with my character missing skill points.

If those are being counted, I'm wondering why the 1/x crafting passives aren't counted, since those are other non-refundable skills.

Yes, all of those skills are excluded from the total when calculating for the Folium. My addon only looks at your total skill points for the Folium. All of the displayed points sources are individually evaluated so it's virtually impossible to get a false positive. My only recommendation is that you consider any points you had invested prior to curing vampirism or werewolfism. Also, you can't use Spent Skill Points as a baseline because it's never been corrected for the racial passive rework (which I've also done in USPF).

This is based on there being a difference between your skill points found by the addon through achievements, quests, etc. and the sum of the points in the skills tree. If the skills tree finds two more than the sum of all real sources the the Folium checks true. I'd suggest you go to Eyevea and see if Valaste is standing outside the door to the main hall. If she's not there, then there is an override in the settings. Unfortunately, this is a shortfall on ZOS' end so there's nothing else I can do to check for it. Trust me, this was a source of great headaches.

It's actually a bug in SpentSkillPoints (SSP). I only know this because I initially used SSP to do the research for my own addon. There are several races that had common passives and all of the racial trees are there for each character but not shown. I was able to narrow down the issue to the racial passives and it is correct in my count. SSP probably shows that you have 12 points invested in the racial line which is not possible.

I am not sure how the addon does it but with a char i definitly read the book it shows 2/2 with my main char i was quite sure i did play the good dumb guy it shows me 0/2 what is confirming my guess i had, so it seems to work nice and i want to thank the author for that nice overview of my Skillpoints...

I want to know how you know if a character have read Folium Discognitum book or not. I'm sure to read this book, but the addon shows 0/2.

It seems that he/she had a corrupted saved variables file and they're all good now. As for Champion Point Respec (or another possibly another addon), the only thing I could find it has in common with USPF is they both have a combo box defined (although mine is locally defined inside of a local function). I'll mess around with it over the weekend and see if I can re-create the discrepancy. Thanks for the tip.
