DONATIONS:

Current Release - 1.10a Changes:
1. Removed: Libstub library references removed from various parts of code
2. Fixed: The pethealthbackground slash command will no longer be available if the ZOS style pet health frames are enabled
1.10 Changes:
1. Fixed: Unsummoned alerts will no longer display onscreen when logging out or manually dismissing pets
2. Fixed: Pet health showing 0 health in certain scenarios such as dismissing one of two pets
3. Implemented: Pet health window can now be automatically hidden when entering a group dungeon (Pets no longer take damage in group dungeons)
4. Updated: API version has been updated for Greymoor
1.09 Changes:
1. Fixed: The Pet Health bar was not populating the names of summoned pets due to a change in abilityId's & ability names done in today's Harrowstorm update. **Includes fixes for EN/DE/FR/RU localizations
2. Enabled: libslashcommander has been re-enabled - Make sure you download the latest libslashcommander update!
1.08 Changes:
1. Disabled: libslashcommander slash commands have been disabled due to ongoing PTS errors with that lib. I'll likely re-enable if that lib is fixed.
2. Updated: API version has been updated for Harrowstorm
1.07 Changes:
1. Implemented: The pet health window is now able to be locked or unlocked in place
2. Minor Change: Removed LibStub from being an optional dependency, this lib should be bundled in the LibSlashCommander or LibAddonMenu library files
1.06 Changes:
1. Implemented: Bumped API version to 100028 & 100029
2. Bug Fix: Believe I've fixed the Lua error occurring when a pet has leveled up.
1.05 Changes:
1. Implemented: Bumped API version to 100026

1.04 Changes:
1. Implemented: Account wide settings are now available via the addon menu
2. Implemented: New option to toggle Pet health bars to look like ZOS's standard Player health bars. Low health values will visually pulse the Pet health bar. - Thanks chaoticvoid!
***New feature only available in the addon menu, no slash command. There may be a few visual oddities with low Pet health & full shields that still need to be refined.***
3. Implemented: Russia locale/translation is now available - Thanks SheogorathGR!
1.03 Changes:
1. Implemented: Onscreen pet unsummoned or killed alerts via on/off toggle
2. Implemented: Pet health percentage for the only in combat setting (Configurable)
1.02 Changes:
1. Removed: Libs are now optional and a separate download for you to maintain, they are no longer included with this addon. The addon will continue to work with default settings if no libs are found, see read first section for details

3. Implemented: Numerous locale additions, changes and general code cleanup thanks to Baertram
4. Implemented: Onscreen low health alert for pets (Configurable)
5. Implemented: Onscreen low shield alert for pets (Configurable)
6. Fixed an issue: Random error caused by "updatepetstats attempt to index a nil value" should be fixed
1.01 Changes:
1. Fixed an issue: Disabled excessive chat messages until I've had more time to sort them out
1.00 Changes:
1. Updated API level to 100025 / Murkmire
2. Changed: This add-on is now simply called "Pet Health" so the saved variables file will be recreated. The in-game client will see this add-on as a new/fresh add-on, so any prior Scootworks Pet Health add-ons will need to be removed/uninstalled. All prior settings and window frame placement will get reverted to default for the first install then be saved & remembered afterwards
3. Changed: Numerous slash command chat messages were altered slightly
4. Changed: /pethealthdebug slash command is no longer available by default
5. Removed: Dependency on LibScootworksFunctions

I have both Sorcerer pets active.

It seems only to happen when I first summon the pets. But it does not seem to affect anything.
Just thought you would want to know.
Hopefully have this fixed in the latest update from today.

I have a request. Would it be possible to have the 'in combat only' option also only display when wounded? I'd like them to be hidden if they are at full health. Maybe even shown at a % or under would be good.

I ran a dolmen with pets out. After that went in a pond to swim and then got on my guar for a ride. There were none of those system messages so that's great!

I do want to ask that you remove the intial 'loaded' system message on a login or UI reload that occurs. I disabled this add-on and reloaded; sure enough this mod does that. Being a perfectionist and liking things set up a certain way this does bother me. I hope you have the time and willingness to do this.

Thanks for bringing this GREAT mod back to life. When I get some more gold I shall send you some.

No problem, will check the git later and fork it for a lam patch then.
Will build it optionally so ppl can use the chat commands or lam.

Good idea with the death and threshold hint. Should be easily doable with the health values given.

Could work on a patch and provide you the data if you like to.
Chat commands are nice but most addons use the visual UI settings (the library shouldn't be included in your addon: most other addons or stand alone installation of the library got it already).
And one can make this addon work even without it, like today with the chat commands, and as a plus use LAM settings menu if library is installed.
That would be awesome if you have the time, otherwise a settings UI was on my to-do list. The project git url is listed on the bottom of the add-ons page. I also have plans for an onscreen alert for a pets death or even an onscreen alert based on a health threshold, either settings based. The other add-on I maintain is BetterUI and have similar on screen alerts implemented for various things, find them handy.

Yeah they will be, its not supposed to spam like that so it's a bug. I will try to push out a fix after work later this evening after more testing.

Looking into it and haven't seen it spam like that myself yet. Did it happen after pets died or zoning? Or are you say saying that on your damage bar you would just resummon your pets when you would switch bars as your healing bar didn't have pets?

Exclamation Comat Pet Health Changes for Update 19 Murkmire

According to Gina Bruno ( https://forums.elderscrollsonline.co...9#reply-anchor ):

"In today's PTS v4.2.2 patch notes, we noted that player combat pets will no longer take any damage while in dungeons, group arenas and Trials. This raised questions if pets will still be targeted by boss mechanics in these areas. The answer is they will, but we've been working toward making it so this is no longer the case. ..."

It is not clear whether "combat pets" will continue to receive damage in "delves", solo Arena combat, and from Quest bosses (which are often found in caverns, mines, tombs, ruins, etc. not unlike a "delve" or "dungeon").

Regardless, presumably a Sorcerer's familiars will continue to suffer Health damage during PvE and PvP combat in "overland" situations, including Dolmens and Abyssimal Geysers, World Bosses, and the NPCs and MoBs which spawn in Craglorn "rifts".

I spoke with Scootworks yesterday and I'll be taking over this addon, but haven't been able to review & make edits to the code yet. This addon will likely be broken until I've made the changes. I'm eager to get it working for my personal use as well, so all I can say at this point is stay patient and maybe by this weekend I'll have a working (likely not bug free) update available.
