Immaculate Construction
by Jesus Take The Heal

A quick note...
Immaculate Construction is in the process of merging into my Essential Housing Tools add-on. I plan to provide all future updates to Immaculate's functionality in Essential Housing Tools' Build tab, so if you have not checked it out already - please do!

Use Home furnishings to build a wide range of shapes with precision, including:
  • Multi-line Text (using Colovian Projection Crystals, Lights of Meridia or Replica Dreamshards)
  • Bridges
  • Stairs
  • Walls
  • Floors/Ceilings
  • Circles
  • Cylinders
  • Spirals
  • Arcs
  • Pyramids
  • Domes
  • Spheres
How does it work?

First, add furniture to your Project by either ...
  1. Right-clicking a stack of furnishings in your inventory
  2. Select "Construct with these X furnishings"
  3. Wait for the furniture to be placed in your home
Or by ...
  1. Targeting a stack of 1 or more of the same furniture item(s) in your home
  2. Press the keybind (configurable under Controls) to Add Targeted Furniture Stack
Then ...
  • Center the project on yourself, or center it on a targeted furnishing using the configurable keybind
  • Drag an item in the shape to move or reorient your shape
  • Use the window's options to make epic creations
Also ...
  • Optionally, you may add a second [, third, fourth, etc.] stack of a different item type to create alternating patterns; make sure that you add equal numbers of each item type to create consistent patterns

Highlights
  • Construction happens quickly and responds to your adjustments in real-time.
  • Made a mistake? Click "Undo" and the changes will be undone.
  • Like what you see? Click "Save" and the changes will be kept (with any excess items returned to your inventory).

Hi there! I am glad you reached out -- hopefully I can help.
I have improvements planned for the Stairs shape; but in the meantime, here is what you can do:

To change the orientation of your stairs, make either your X-, Z- or X- and Z-Length negative. For example, stairs running West up to East with an X-Length of "1000" can be changed to run from East up to West by using an X-Length of "-1000".

As for the origin, or starting point, I do plan to add a Checkbox/toggle to allow you to select whether the X, Y, and Z are the center or the origin for certain shapes (such as Stairs). Please check back for that -- along with the ability to rotate stairs around the center point -- in a future update.

Do you have a Paypal or donation page? If so I'd be happy to ship a month's worth of ESO+ your way.

As a side note, I'm not sure I understand how the center on target furniture function works, since from what I can see targeting with the keybind only works in Editing mode (F5) but building only works from your inventory. Doesn't matter too much since I intend to manually input exact coordinates anyways, but I'd be curious to know what I'm missing there.

Have a great day!
Oh ... aaand, to answer your other question about the Center on Target:

If you enter Housing Editor mode, target a piece of furniture, and hit that Keybind, the add-on should center your entire Shape (whether that be Sphere, Floor, Wall, etc) on that targeted furniture item. So, if needed an easier way to plant your shape in a specific spot, or around a specific item, you can now use that keybind. I hope that helps!

Ok, this just made my day. Comments like the ones that all of you guys & gals have been leaving -- that's honestly payment enough. I really just wanted to release this add-on for the community to help them create even more awesome stuff, so knowing that you've found it helpful is really all I need. <3

Also, thank you -- you actually just reminded me of a to-do I forgot to write down: changing the Keybinds to be consistent; specifically, to have them both functional in Editor Mode so it's not as confusing (because I totally see your point). Version 0.71 incoming with that update, just give me a minute...

( and also, thank you for the offer and thank you for going out of your way to set up an account for this -- means so much! please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions, ideas, suggestions, etc. )

You are quite welcome -- hearing that other housing peeps are able to create cool stuff like you've done is why I wanted to put this add-on up here!! Made my day Also, I have a number of changes planned that should further simplify the user interface and make it easier to correctly pitch/roll/rotate your items to get the correct shape more quickly, so please do check back for those updates soon!

First -- thank you both for the feedback (everything helps!).

Second -- the two of you both just gave me an idea for how to use your suggestion (Actosh) to give Immaculate Construction's users a shortcut for this approach. I think I will add a Keybind for this add-on that, when pressed, will center the shape you are building around whatever item you are targeting. This way, you would be able to place something (anything) smack where you want to build your shape, without having to guess at coordinates. Any thoughts on this approach would be greatly appreciated!

i have the same problem...it first populated with the ability to change numbers...now its just blank spaced unable to fill in the numbers to make guesses about where things would be best in the world...really wanted this work for me oh well

uninstalling and reinstalling seems to have brought back the ability to adjust the numbers, but i can't for the life of me figure out how to put things on the ground...only above my head!
Hi there! I'm sorry you are experiencing this problem. Just so that I am understanding correctly: You can now enter numbers again; but, you aren't sure how to lower the construction down to the ground?

If this is the case, try slightly reducing your "Origin Y:". For example, if it's 20000, try making it 19900 and see if the construction drops down.

thanks that seemed to work, however, trying one number at time to get it to where i want well it seems overly complicated for me! i dont think im smart enough to use this.... but i will keep trying.!!!

thanks for making it!

Ooh -- I think I understand. Because I've added the drop down that allows you to choose what type of Shape to construct, I modified the add-on to reset the fields whenever you (a) first start the game; (b) change the shape in the drop down. However, if this is not the issue that you are having, then let me know and I'll investigate further.

Sorry - just to make sure that I am understanding - you are not seeing the window appear, after clicking "Construct ..." on a stack in your inventory?

If this is the case, is your home filled to capacity with items? Or did was the entire stack placed in your home and then the window just never appeared?
