DESCRIPTION
This addon includes many camera features to enhance the game experience.
Gain total control and enjoy all the world using the camera settings you want depending on what you do.
  • Control!
    ⋅ Add some useful bindings to control the camera: shoulder swap, center, …
  • Don't change!
    ⋅ Prevent the camera change that occurs on interactions: chatting, craft stations, style station, lockpicking, …
  • Dynamic!
    *NEW* Camera can be configured to dynamically change when you're moving,
    ⋅ Replace the camera change for each interaction type with a custom one,
    ⋅ Configure your own camera change on “events”: mounting, stealth, combat, draw/sheath weapon, werewolf.
  • Enjoy!
    ⋅ For each interaction and event, you can choose to switch to first or third person, and modify the camera position, zoom and field of view.

BINDINGS
  • Swap camera shoulder side,
  • Toggle camera in center position,
  • Swap / Toggle (If you prefer using only one keybind: 1 press to center, 2 to switch side),
  • All the above got 2 possible bindings: 1 for a smooth switch, and 1 for a fast instant switch,
  • Toggle siege camera.
  • Toggle distant camera.

SETTINGS
  • Cross-characters settings

  • Camera preferred parameters: distance, field of view, and horizontal/vertical position. It overrides the regular camera settings.
    ⋅⋅⋅
  • 3 static cameras can be configured. Only works with keybindings.
    ⋅⋅⋅
  • Prevent any camera change on interactions : talking to NPCs, using craft stations, lockpicking, reading, siege.
    That really is better for immersion not to change the camera on each interaction! You can't imagine.
    For example, when you talk with someone, the camera won't focus on them.
    (I recommand to allow the camera change for “Stations”, anyway, that's strange to craft without moving.)
  • Use your own camera settings when in interactions.
    ⋅⋅⋅
  • Automatically change any of your camera settings when "events" occur: chatting, mounting, in stealth, wielding weapons, in combat, in werewolf form.
  • *NEW* “On movement” event has been added, camera feels more dynamic that ever!
  • Preset can be picked between: None / Center camera on 3rd person / Switch to 1st person / Switch to 3rd person / Custom (Do what you want).
  • There are also some specific parameters for the events: use combat to trigger draw weapon, delay to restore for combat, keep minimal distance while in werewolf…
  • Option to prevent another camera change when on mount.

Hey guys,
I launched the game after the big updates and… I'm not able to replicate the issue.
I did some teleports and loadings to other zones, I also teleported to dungeons.
Nothing happened to me, still in game without any issue.

Does it also crash while going to old/base-game zones, or is it specific to new ones ?

Game crash after update 35

Howdy. I can confirm as well that the game client crashes with this addon active, even if the only one active. It happens, at least, when porting into a dungeon. If logs or anything like that would be helpful, let me know.

Yes, unfortunately I tried with just this addon activated and when I try to go to another zone, it crashed. Don’t know if some settings have anything to do with it (I play in 1st person view).

Did you try to disable all addons but this one, to make sure it is only because of this mod ?
( I am not able to test it at the moment )

Going through doors or just randomly sometimes puts me into 3rd person. Only thing I have set is to always be in 1st person.

Would it be possible to also store/save and restore the FOV (Field of view)?
Currently it doesn't seem to save or restore that in the quickslots.

Which would be extremely handy because recently, constantly, the game inconveniently for me, just forgets that I am on FOV 110, not 80 (default). And it would be awesome to just be able to reset that with a buttonpress, not entering the settings menu, knowing that next time I login, it *will* be forgotten.

Whenever you get time, do you think you could add a weapon sheath trigger when your addon automatically returns the camera to the previous when out of combat?

I think it would be very fitting, if your character puts back their weapon after combat at the same time the camera interaction happens at the "delay" in Event-Driven Camera Changes: "In Combat". Would really save me having to hit the button all the time, even when the camera has zoomed back in for exploration.
