DESCRIPTION
This addon includes many dialog features, to enhance the game experience and to customize it your way.
All-in-one, without fancy colors or custom fonts, in order to stick with a sober interface.
/!\ I recommend to not use a custom UI scale to prevent any improper behaviour.
  • Customize!
    ⋅ Resize and tweak the dialog window,
    ⋅ Tweak all the content: Title, text, and options,
    ⋅ Add nice icons and/or numbers before chat options,
  • Keep history!
    ⋅ Keep an eye on the history of the conversation,
    (I suggest you to vertically shift the window to display more history)
  • Use animation!
    ⋅ Use the text fading animation to make it appear while the NPC is talking,
    ⋅ Customize the speed for regular and some specific dialogs.
  • Specify behavior!
    ⋅ For some specific dialogs, you can mute the NPC, auto-open the store, and speed-up or instantly display the content.

CORRECTIONS
  • In texts, replaces any double space by a single space in texts,
  • In texts, corrects the missing space between the end of a sentence and the beginning of the next (“. A”).
  • For important dialogue options, when using a keyboard, it requires a second key-press for confirmation.

  • Implement features in gamepad mode. As I am not actively playing the game, I don't have a planned date for that, sorry guys!
  • Prevent auto-open store if a pledge option is detected.

You know what, I'm realizing that this doesn't happen with the shrines in Vvardenfell. Only in the new zone Blackwood -> Leyawiin. Pics (last one just showing it with Options Tweaks -> Display Instantly): https://imgur.com/a/sJpVgg4
Is it the only shrine with no text ?
Maybe it could be the source of the issue…

Can shrines (Akatosh etc) be excluded from the display options that encourage us to wait for the dialog to complete? Right now, if not displayed instantly, the options don't just show up for shrines. Maybe add them to the Specific Dialog Settings?

Hey NTak!

Thanks for this awesome mod! Alongside NTak Camera it goes a long way to improve immersion (I myself play with no text, just the audio from the character). Can I suggest an option to hide/disable the name entirely and/or an option to move the name on the Y-axis? Loved the Centerize Window Tweak btw, not having any issues with it so far!

Yeah, so for my scenario, I am going through a questing zone, and creating new dialog as responses for the vestige to respond back. Nothing that is actual written text in the game, but instead voice over for video / streaming.

and yeah, the resonses would stay hidden / transparent, but when the hotkey is hit to choose a resonse, it still progresses forward. So if a dialog choice was "What happened?" i could instead voice out a different response in it's stead, then hit '1' to choice that choice, even through its hidden, and the NPC will continue on in the conversation as per usual

The code i commented out was in the HandleChatterOptionClicked, where you have a check if the alpha for the choice is 0, then just return back

This addon has been the best so far with changing the dialog!

I have noticed that under the options tweaks, it is forcing 'display instantly' if you try to turn off the display after text fade-in and by pressing an option key.

Essential (for RP purposes), I am trying to have the dialog text fade in, but never to show the options, while still having the ability to interact with them by using the keyboard. This allows for custom RP responses to be had prior to progressing the conversation with the NPC.

Yes, this is my Camera addon that can prevent the switching of the camera when chatting…
The Dialog addon "only" tweaks what is inside the dialog window.

Default Dialogue Help

I have enjoyed using this addon, but now I want to go back to the default dialogue and I can't. I have uninstalled the mod and any saved variables. The text goes back to normal, but the camera position stayed zoomed out instead of up close. Am I missing something?
