DESCRIPTION
This addon includes many dialog features, to enhance the game experience and to customize it your way.
All-in-one, without fancy colors or custom fonts, in order to stick with a sober interface.
/!\ I recommend to not use a custom UI scale to prevent any improper behaviour.
  • Customize!
    ⋅ Resize and tweak the dialog window,
    ⋅ Tweak all the content: Title, text, and options,
    ⋅ Add nice icons and/or numbers before chat options,
  • Keep history!
    ⋅ Keep an eye on the history of the conversation,
    (I suggest you to vertically shift the window to display more history)
  • Use animation!
    ⋅ Use the text fading animation to make it appear while the NPC is talking,
    ⋅ Customize the speed for regular and some specific dialogs.
  • Specify behavior!
    ⋅ For some specific dialogs, you can mute the NPC, auto-open the store, and speed-up or instantly display the content.

CORRECTIONS
  • In texts, replaces any double space by a single space in texts,

  • Implement features in gamepad mode. As I am not actively playing the game, I don't have a planned date for that, sorry guys!

Hi. Love the addon's new feature but after interacting with companion in the new center format companion menu looks like this. Is it possible to bring companions back to their place on the screen?

I am too busy with Destinations and MM right now. I did search for OnScreenResized and it only appears in "NTakDialog.lua" out of all the mods they have installed. I don't know what is resizing that would trigger that. Maybe zoogoo would help.

As far as "ZO_Interaction" that appears in "Core.lua" from Azurah.

I just used FilesearchEX but Notepad++ has a search in files feature as well. Which you probably use. I still had their folder of mods handy.

To be perfectly clear, the addon is not "made" for controller.
I added some compatibility, but most of the tweaks are certainly not working !
I should have disabled the window tweaks when using a controller.
Aah okay, that's explains everything. Thank you for the clarification!

Well, i'm still keeping your addon because it allowed me to get rid of the black screen that covers everything when you talk to an npc and that is a huge selling point for me.

And do not worry, your addon is working as it should. The Window options are indeed unable to be accessed when you use a controller. I had to disable mine to change some options.

Couldn't tell you exactly what caused it. Sorry. I hope the error gives you some kind of information. I think it might have to do with opening my inventory??? I'm not sure, though.

I hate the clunky vanilla UI with a passion so i'm very glad i found this awesome alternative through Reddit.

I'm trying to position the box in the center of the screen and below the npc i'm talking to. However, i cannot seem to get the conversation box to budge from it's default position. Either i picked the wrong settings or the chosen settings do not get implemented because i play with a controller.

Could you please tell me whether this feature is available for those of us who use controllers and if so which settings i need to tweak?

Also, I can no longer access the addon's settings. Doesn't seem to be working when talking to NPCs either.

Edit/Update:
Simply reinstalling Ntak Camera and Ntak Dialog fixed the issue. (You don't need to delete your saved variables! Keep them!)
