Finally, Advanced Filters! The default inventory has type filters, but they're still WAY too broad. This add-on fixes that!

Features:

Known Issue: The dropdown menus on the weapons and armor subfilters do not show up under certain conditions. If the dropdown is missing, try opening a different filter that has subfilters (so not All, Quest, or Junk) and then going back to the tab that previously had the missing dropdown.

Is there any way to add the ability to filter vs what is in my bag and what is in my bank?

Yep, known bug (as described for the craftbag + mail "Known bugs").
This always happens if the craftbag tab/CraftBagExtended tab is the last opened tab in the inventory, and you get back to teh inventory later on.
Ingame "filter functions" do not call themselves like they did at the first call and thus the filtering is not changing, and the actual subfilter bar is not able to be detected properly then (AF needs the current inventory filter type as "parent" for the subfilter bar, like selecting "Alchemy" will set the inventory filter to something like ITEMFILTERTYPE_ALCHEMY. But after "getting back" to the craftstore the filter function of the inventory is not saying "We are at ITEMFILTERTYPE_ALCHEMY now" but it says "we are at ITEMFILTERTYPE_NONE" at the moment ).

But somehow I'm not able to fix this at the moment. Maybe with some kind of workaround which enables the last visible subfilter bar again, which would need me to write a "history" for each panel...
Too much effort. Maybe I'll find out one day why ESO is not setting ITEMFILTERTYPE_ALCHEMY properly like it does before. But for now this workaround will be enough:

Workaround:
One needs to select another subfilter and switch back to the previous one.
Subfilter bars are shown properly again then.

Bugs 1+2 description
With only AF enabled:
-Open inventory
-Switch to craftbag tab
-Choose "jewelry" -> None of the subfilter bar icons are enabled (bug1: Not sure why, working on it if I find the time.)
-Choose "Alchemy": Subfilter bar is shown properly + enabled buttons
-Close inventory
-Talk to bank NPC (e.g. Punala in Reapers march)
-Open player bank
-Switch to withdraw
-Switch back to deposit
-Close bank
-Open inventory
Craftbag tab will be still selected from previous visit (see above, 2nd entry of this list)
But the Alchemy subfilter ba will be missing, until you switch to another subfilter and back to alchemy afterwards.

The inventory "current space row" won't be added with AdvancedFilters, please enable CraftBagExtended for this to show.

Your feature request "see how many rows of inventory claimed by items at craft bags" won't be added within AdvancedFilters neither, sorry.

Yes, but it's always the maximum count. Will check if I can fix this.

Thanks for the info, will have a look as I come home next weak. But:
Are you using CraftBagExtended as this happens?
I remember my CraftBag showing the filtered item count correctly in the past (tested before Murkmire).

Did you test this with ONLY AF beta enabled and is it still wrong?
If not, please tell me which addons are active as this error happens, thanks.

can we also have this number works at craftbags?
for exanple i have 17 types of runes at subfilter

so number must show (17)
(2) its a number from items in inventory im not watching at right now

So I have been using this amazing addon for a while but one thing keeps bugging me and its why I dont get the option filter items when depositing them into bank(er) or storage chests for housing is this the entended way or am i doing something wrong?

Just found a fix for CraftCompare and updated the addon as well (see comments for a changelog here)
-> SavedVars were changed to Character ID (not name anymore), server dependent ones. They were resetted and need to be set new please!

Fixed:
-Moved disguise/costume/tabbard stuff from "Armor" to "Miscelaneous" as ZOs had moved the itemtypes there and they were never shown at the "Armor" button anymore (cannot re-enable this as the filtering is given by the vanilla base game. I can just add additional filters to them, like the subfilters do).
-Bank, Guildbank deposit / Inventory: subfilter buttons were not greyed out properly if there were items which could not be depositted (bound, BoPTradeable, stolen, junk)
-"Quest item" count shown properly if enabled

-lua error upon talking to the stable master should be fixed now. If not: Please enable "Debug" in the settings and follow the chat output: Answer the 4 questions and tell me the values from the chat please!

Added:
-Re-Enabled the junk filters, added/changed missing/worng entries and enabled the greyed out subfilter buttons there too

-Fixed: Vendor panel showing active subfilter buttons if items were stolen and could not be sold
-Fixed: Items which are stolen are shown below the usable trophys now

-Fixed: Some subfilter panel refresh functions respecting the correct filter functions now to hide (grey out) the filter buttons.
-Fixed: Worn items are repected at the improvement panels too now
-Added: Support for other addons which also filter the inventory/crafting stations. Other addons can register their filter function so the refresh of the subfilter buttons will recognize these functions as well and hide (grey out) the subfilter button if the other addon has filtered the items (e.g. at a crafting station FCOCraftFilter will hide all bank items. This will make AdvancedFilters recognize the change of the shown items according to FCOCraftFilter settings and also grey out the subfilter buttons if no items are shown in this subcategory).

Here is an example version of FCOCraftFilter (beta 0.2.2) containing this code so together with AdvancedFilters the changing of the shown items at a crafting panel (bag, bank, both) will change the subfilter buttons enabled/disabled state as well.
-Fixed: Issue #7 from AdvancedFilters github issues: Opening the craftbag in inventory once, selecting a subfilter like smithing->material, opening the Guilstore, jumping from Guildstore to CraftBag via keybind, subfilterbar for smithing->material was missing nad only the all button was there -> Should be fixed now.
Even jumping from GuildStore to mail, or from inventory to mail or from mai lto inventory (craftbag or not) should be fixed now and show the subfilter bar buttons from before.

Updated to support filter plugins which use the "onlyGroups" parameter "Armor", "Weapons" and "Jewelry" filters:
They will automatically add themselves to crafting table filters "ArmorSmithing", "ArmorWoodworking", "ArmorClothier", "WeaponsSmithing", "WeaponsWoodworking", "JewelryCraftingStation" as well now.

Known bugs:
-Sometimes the guild bank withdraw panel does not show any subfilter buttons enabled even if there are items. Not quite sure how and when this happens. ONly had it once today, maybe it's already fixed. If you find out how to reproduce this, please tell me so I can fix it (if it's still there as an error). Thanks

Untested:
-Retrait station
-Using CraftBagExtended: Direct switch between CraftBag in inventory, mail (last opened before was CBE panel), vendor (if possible to open the vendor sell panel via keybind! Last opened before was CBE) or trade panels (if possible to open the player 2 player trade panel via keybind! Last opened before was CBE) could bug the filters and subfilter buttons.-
