For the moment you'll have to use /rdk admin. If all conditions are met and the players have the module active, you'll be able to get information about their graphic configuration, addon configuration, stats, skills, equipment, cp etc. But you should use that only during breaks or when you are riding a long distance or something like that, as this will prevent players from sending map pins for approximately 3-5 minutes (a lot of pins are sent in this time). |

What do you think of adding an indicator that shares which/how many players in the group currently have specific utility skills? Such as Caltrops. Helps manage raids when players drop and join again.

Btw. the I See Dead People module shouldn't work in trials as well. Did you test that part? In case you want to run other ulti sharing (or map pin sharing) addons at the same time, ensure that you disable the rdk group tool networking. Further feedback is welcome. |

That sentence should have read "I'd like to use your addon in PvE in trials like AA and such." i rewrote the sentence a few times and those few letters somehow got lost I am so sorry. I do indeed only plan to use it there. But i will give it a try if it is really not working in trials (that would be a pity). I did not get it that the roles are self assigned by every player and propagated using map-pings. I thought the role assignment would be only for my client with no further dependencies. With that in mind I'd say my idea would not be easy to implement with reasonable effort. The idea of default roles might still work, especially if you just add 3 more beam settings and maybe have em work PvE only (toggle)? But that would be out of your PvP focus. Even if all those ideas wont work/be implemented i am so thankful that you did program this addon with its beams for dead players. I'm always having such a hard time to find them beneath all those sparkling effects and other corpses - simply splendid. I am curious how it works in cyrodil, but i haven't had time to venture there. Debugging such an issue without having the issue yourself is quite painful. Therefore, I have to ask you if you could provide additional information: - How many players had this issue - Could you please provide all configurations of these players (/rdk config) - Could you provide a list of other addons these players have installed as well - Is it possible for some of them to reproduce this issue? |

Problem with map
Dear,
Last week we changed from another addon to your RdK group tool. This is simply the best addon for our group raids. The beams are perfect and easy to follow, the det tracker is perfect, buffs, debuffs... I love it all. So first of all a big thank you for developing this! Yesterday during the raid some people complained about having a big sun over their map ( I hope I can add a screenshot of this ). I tried figuring out if this is another addon causing issues but even without any other addon they kept having problems. According to one of my members it comes and goes so I don't really know. Could you provide me both a screenshot and your configuration? I'd like to take a look at that. Get the config with "/rdk config" -> Export profile. Select all text (select all button) and copy it to a file or upload it somewhere (i think it should be ~18KB in size). Before i give an answer to your questions i'd like to explain a few things regarding the addon: It was meant to be a PvP addon. There are features that had to be implemented differently than you would do it in PvE land. So it is not optimized for PvE. Nonetheless, many features should work properly. So let's talk about the role concept: The current roles should describe most of the roles you use in PvP. Every player can assign themselves a default role (the module should be called role assignment). This role will be propagated through map pins. So there is no need to set everything manually with each new raid as players have flagged themselves. One role (Synergy) furthermore has a special meaning in regards of the synergy prevention module. The issue now is, that you send an ID with your map pins to tell the others which role ID you have. If everyone could define role names, this would be very chaotic and everyone would have to change the role names to match each others configuration. That was the reason i used fixed values instead of a user configuration. The other issue you might experience is that you do not want to enable networking as this might interfere with other addons you are using in regards of map pins (which might result in getting you kicked from the server). I'll have to think about this. I might implement a feature that will remember other players role assignments in case of recreating a group so you'd have to do this once and then you're set for further groups with the same players. But i do not see a simple solution for the role rename feature request. But again, i'll have to think about both requests a bit. Btw. if you're the only one using the addon you could edit the language file. This would be a temporary solution and would require you to change the file with every single addon update. If you want to do that, edit your language file (RdKGroupTool/lang/xx.lua) and look for the following lines: Code:

Roles renameable
Your addon enabled me to get rid of 7 other addons in total. Thats great. Thanks a real lot!
And i am not finished reviewing my plenthora of addons yet. And i do have some ideas as well: Is there a way to rename the roles? They might be configurable in some way already as multi language support would need that capability IMHO. I use your addon in PvE in trials like AA and such. I suffer from a slight vision impairment and the beams really help a great deal to identify the right group members let alone find the corpses i should resurrect. But assigning the roles, when joining the group as a replacement, is quite a bit of work and the delay tends to annoy my guildmates. Thus: Is there be a way to automatically assign default roles to the usual ones (tank/dd/heal) upon joining the group and still having the ability to change the assignments afterwards?
