The Error Too Many Anchors Process is not due to ggFrames however its a bug within the ESO Game whenever too many addons that draw on the screen are active at one time. Until ZeniMax gets around to fixing it, you can use Zolan's Anchors Away add-on to suppress this error.

Hey Corodius,
I can confirm, that rarely players health bar got desynced. I cannot say how can one reproduce it, but it happens for me approximately once per two or three weeks. Symptoms are as described below - the bar shows rather high value for HP, but then suddenly you are dead. Also very rarely you can see, that the ggFrames continue to show the shield over healthbar, when there is no shield left anymore. This can happen after very intense fight in pvp. So my guess, that some events that are send by game are not processed by addon, or they come at the same time, and some variables got mixed up, or the events are simply lost by api (when there is a huge queue of them). Anyway, I have looked into the structure of addon, and I cannot say that I see any logical flaws - everything should work, but sometimes (very rarely) it does not.

As for short-time buffs - I have stripped this portion of code from FTC addon and implemented it into my own lightweight Lui Extended addon with some code simplifications and additions. And I prefer the combination of ggFrames with Lui Extended together, so I can completely disable FTC for myself. The idea is that ggFrames shows me long-term buffs provided my game API, while my Lui Extended addon tracks user clicking skills and according to internal skill list table I create icons with timers for short-time effects - same thing FTC does in that part.

add buffs

Can we work in adding short buffs and debuffs onto the bar? (example are all the hots, dots, utilities such as siphon, ele drain etc. Havnt tested yet if the timer for summoners on dsa round 10 shows in gg yet. I know srendarr and ftc do.

thanks

edit: also another bug that has been around since the beginning is the random grayed out frame like the person is out of range, but they actually aren't. I have tried to see what causes this, but havn't been able to pinpoint. typically a reloadui fixes it everytime.

This is definitely something I want to add, not 100% decided on the style yet however. Thanks for the suggestions.

I would like to offer a suggestion. Currently, there is no werewolf timer integrated into the addon as there is below the healthbar of the default UI. This causes the werewolf timer to float around where the default health bar is located, because it is not hidden. I would like to see this default werewolf timer bar hidden and to have one integrated into the addon.

Keep up the great work with GGFrames!
This will likely be in the next version revision, I am looking at this one right now actually. Hopefully I'll have this one in very soon for you guys. Thanks for the suggestion and the kind words.

I believe this was the original intended design, however I agree with the need for at least an option for %. I will look at this for the next version revision aswell. Thanks!

Edit 1: Please disregard. I just read other posts about the missing fonts. I will check that out. Thank you.

Original: I can't get any overlay text to appear. Is this a known issue? I have tried making sure that there are no other UI affecting add-ons loaded to be sure there were no conflicts but nothing ever appears on the bars. I really love the customization of the frames with this add-on but I can't even tell what I have targeted.

----------

I have resized my health, magicka, and stamina bars to be much smaller. I think I resized them down to 13 to still allow a very small font (10) to still fit and be centered. The problem I am having is that the animation when I have a DoT on me (< < < < <) extends far beyond the height of all of the bars. It looks like increase effects on me (> > > > >) and DoT effects on target (< < < < <) are ok still. Thank you.
I'm glad you got the font issue sorted. I have changed the Default Font to the ESO UI Default Font, so we shouldn't get this issue again, and it will work straight away for new users. The options to choose your own fonts are still there however. For the second issue, I'll look into this one. If you can PM me a screenshot or two, showing the problem in action, that would be awesome and will help a lot. Thanks!

Edit: Got no problems today.
Unfortunately this one is a problem with Zenimax's default frames and the info it provides to the interface API. There is not a lot I can do to fix this problem, short of adding a performance chewing constant check/refresh. I am extremely hesitant to do so however as this could cause FPS/Performance issues, depending on the user's machine. I'd rather Zenimax got it fixed API Side, ideally. What does everyone think of this issue? I'd like some feedback there.

I am not sure I understand the problem. ggFrames already allows moving of the Raid Frames, just unlock the frames under the options menu. Or am I misunderstanding the problem?

I will look into this, is there any more information you can provide? So far I have been unable to reproduce the issue. Are you using any other Unit Frames modifying addons? Any more information you can provide for this, including screenshots of it in action (please PM screenshots) would be invaluable in helping to track this down. Thanks!

Thank You Everyone!

Ok, when it comes to the Missing Fonts, let me explain what is going on here. These fonts were never originally registered by, nor even a part of, ggFrames. The only relation they have to ggFrames is them being pulled into the Font List by LibMediaProvider. LMP Is used to allow a lot more customization to the Addon and Frames.

{snip}
I knew Zenimax deleted a lot of fonts, but since I dove right into PvP after installing your patch, I never thought to simply change fonts for ggFrames. That was silly on my part.

I love this addon, and the only thing that I might see could be addressed is when in a raid. Sometimes the group leader will tell everyone in group 1-6 to do something, and ggFrames does not show groups 1-6 like the old, clunky default raid frames does. Would adding some option to indicate the different groups when in a raid, be possible? I've had to switch to the default raid frames at times, and I'd rather not have to.
I suppose that an optional toggle in options that puts a tiny 1 2 or 3 next to each name based on their default interface group would work?
Or maybe some sort of a bolded line separator, or a line with a string of small font numbers above it? Or some other way to illustrate the groups

In the end I trust your judgment as to what looks the best. As long as I can tell which raid members belong to which group is all i really need.

I am so happy this is back.
No Worries at all Man, and I am glad it is so useful to you.

So just correct this lines or completely remove fonts from your addon. This way the user will be able to use only fonts provided by recent version of LMP and any others that addon like LMP-RemovedFonts register with LMP.
Ya, I did make this mistake this is true, but it is not what caused the fonts to not show up in the newer version, I fixed this immediately after release but it still did not work. The problem is the Font Entries in the LMP Table need to be overridden, which is what LMP Removed Fonts does. The fonts were not even IN the addon when it first messed up, I was just attempted to smooth things over, but without a specific override which I am not willing to do in ggFrames (read previous post for information) I cannot fix an outdated LMP Table. The only thing I can reliably do for this is suggest LMP Removed Fonts.

No worries mate, Heck I thought something had gone really wrong mself, to find out what it was, well it was awesome haha. As for the numbering, this is definitely a possibility, and I shall look into it.

I suppose that an optional toggle in options that puts a tiny 1 2 or 3 next to each name based on their default interface group would work?
