Addon-Description:
  • Should work in english, german, french and russian

  • Shows a small window with the festival quests:
    • red: not done today
    • green: done today
    • orange: active quest in your journal
    • grey: no data yet, first use
    • the icon in front of the quest appears, if you have completed that specific quest-achievment (is it kinda quest-hardmode? ^^)
      --> if you have not done it yet on this char, there will be a really ugly red circle

  • Clicking on a quest, ports you to a location next to it (nearest wayshrine or owned house).
    When you have 2 steps with different locations like stonefalls:
    --> leftclick ports you to davons watch (step 1 & 2),
    --> rightclick to ebonheart (step 3 & 4).
    This is hardcoded and independent of your quest step, so it always ports to the same locations.

  • You can set a hotkey for porting to "Snow Globe Home-outside" (which is basically on Bredas feed) if you own it.
    --> If you don't own it, you port to the inside of user-houses (@Karthrag_Inak on NA, thx for let me/us using it!!) which gives an additional loading screen when you exit, but I still prefer this on my none-globe-owning accounts, because you spawn basically right next to Breda (same as clicking on the house-icon)

  • Fast traveling at wayshrine. You have a option to auto select the destination, when an event quest is active AND tracked (selected one). You get ported to the next quest step location automatically as soon if you interract with a wayshrine. That is for free, so costs no gold.

  • Option to skip all quest-dialoges, even the ones from the on-location quest-step-NPC.
    As emergency fallback: if you start a conversation while pressing SHIFT, it does NOT skip for this dialoge. So for example if you don't wan't to skip at Grahtwood's quest (because you have to pay something) you can press SHIFT before starting the talk, so you can choose another option.

  • You have an option in the settings for Grahtwoods quest: you can choose between "pay", "kill" and "ask me each time".

  • If you would loose tickets, the auto-skipping of text stops and wait for user input (accept anyway or cancel to spent some tickets first. If you have also installed IsJustaEventTicketSaver, it lets him handle the funtionality so your setting in there won't get overwritten.

  • Option to permanent show your amount of tickets in the window (right side bottom)

  • Option to auto-accept follow-up quests from Breda

  • Option to mark the active and tracked quest in yellow

  • Option to destroy the white reward loot (eatable swords...), blue and purple writs, and for each golden runebox

  • Disables Galthonor, the guy from Reaper's March you normally interact with instead of the chests! As well as one drunken guy in Davon's Watch Cavern-o-fish.
    --> to all you NPCs: give me rewards or get out of my way!!!

  • ** NEW **
    When you have the fish quest and open your bank, it retrieves one of each of them to your inventory (if you have some in your bank)

  • Position, visibility and skip-settings are saved accountwide, visibility can be set via Hotkey or specific ui-scenes.

BeamMeUp is checking for any guy in the zone, not at a special wayshrine (addons cannot detect where someone is, at what particular wayshrine), so you do not need to integrate anything here.
Just right click the zone "Eastmarch" etc. in BeamMeUp's UI and add it to your favorite and then it will be at the top of your lists during the event. You can remove them afterwards again via a right click.
But as I described: This is for "a zone", not a chosen wayshrine. You will just port to any ws in the zone and if it's not the correct one you need to manually interact with the ws you got to and port again.

Thats in fact some very good ideas. But i think, the "Beam me up" thing will be bigger issue, so not sure if i get this during this event cycle. Or at all. But definitely worth having a deeper look into it.

For now i added another option, to choose to auto destroy the white junk. Or to just mark it as junk like currently or to do nothing at all. Noticed they didnt get sold with all the other junk.
Sounds great. At this point, with the event being almost over, you'll probably want to set aside spending any other time & energy until next year. Thanks once again for a great addon

Thx for the nice words. Yeah i somehow thought it will take longer, but it's only 2 more days.

However, i uploaded another version where it auto selects the destination, when you click on a wayshrine.

It looks on the tracked quest (foreground quest, the selected one which you always see on the screen). So if this focused quest is an eventquest, it ports auomatically to that location and back as well, depending on the quest step.

You can switch it off in the settings. So there are 2 options now... fasttravel from where-ever you are for gold with one click, or fasttravel from a wayshrine for free with one click. Guess thats fine for a one-week-per-year-usage-addon

It took me about 2 hours to find out that your addon screwed up interaction with the wayshrines.I thought it was a sick joke by a some lame addon createor because I was ported to ArrayNr[51] (area51) every time, and I had to disable and enable all my addons 1 by 1 to find out which one it was. But now I see it can be usefull, however i do not like that is is turned on by default and does not give a clear notification about which addon does the porting (something like NLF assistant is porting you to ...).

I also like the idea about the fish (with notification like NLF assistant took 3 fishes from your bank).

ehhhmmm... that is a very reasonable argument. I turned it on by default on purpose, because it's new and I think noone will ever look in the options again once they are done, just to check if there is a new feature for porting. But you are right, don't knowing where it comes from is totally annoying if you want to go somewhere else. Sorry for that (even if i have to admit your comment gave me a small shameful giggle - not the addon-search, i know thats too annoying, but the get-ported and likely "WTF?" face.)


I just uploaded another version, where you get better chat-message (to make it worse, the old message was even just an overseen debug message) and an option in the settings, to switch this message off:

BTW. to temporary switch it off, you can just press T (which changes the tracked quest i think, or the custom key for it), because the eventquest you auto-port to must be the tracked one.

Sojourn spends 347 gold

This is an awesome addon. Thanks for spending your time developing it.

I have been using the skip dialog feature.
I'm trying to get used to that type of thing so hopefully I can get over the brain spaz it causes.

I noticed for Sojourn quest in Grahtwood skip always causes you to spend 347 gold.
You can either kill mobs or pay the gold to complete the quest.
Both are only needed for the achievement.

I have to turn off skip for Sojourn to avoid needlessly paying the gold.
It would be awesome if paying was an option --defaulted to not pay.

I had a think about this and implemented a small workaround for this.
As emergency fallback: if you start a conversation while pressing SHIFT, it does NOT skip for this dialoge. So for example if you don't wan't to skip at Grathwood's quest (because you have to pay something) you can press SHIFT before starting the talk, so you can choose another option.

So at least you don't have to change the settings every time on this quest. I can have a deeper look once the event started. It's hard to find a solution before. Or maybe thats already fine, then i call it a day

Suggestion - it could be useful to auto-hide the window when all quests are finished (green) for the day - or roll it up to just the top-row icons (ie. ports and mug).

good idea, i will have a look.
however, you can already set a keybind to hide the window. But doing it automatically would pretty much fit very well to this addon.

Window Display Options inverted

Lemme start by thanking you for creating this mod! It is PHENOMENAL!

I’ve found what MIGHT be an unintended error in the functionality of 2 of the options (or the wording is confusing to only me and everything is fine, lol)

In the most recent version, the function of the two options for controlling how the mod window is displayed, “only game-mode” and “only cursor-mode”, are inverted:

- With “game-mode” selected, the window only shows up when the cursor is freed.

- With “cursor-mode” selected, the window only shows up when the cursor is hidden.

Once again, thanks for making this mod!!!
