it seems that after opening the containers in the backpack the addon is no longer able to close the window after looting. In the image this happens by opening the siegemaster's coffer and the light tel var satchel.

I quickly tried the 4.5.2 version and it seems to have solved all the problems, no more ghost container.
Thanks for the super quick fix and your dedication to developing addons for the community. |

is there a way to turn off autolooting the writ rewards containers and daily containers? stuff like the jubilee boxes, daily provisioner crate, etc. basically anything that's opened in your backpack. I want to see those rewards before looting... weird maybe I know

1. Turning off Lazy Writ then reloading UI... still happening. 2. Turning back on Lazy Writ and turning off Much Smarter AL then reloading UI, and the "problem" went away. Was able to open and look at contents before "accepting" the chest. Maybe some other addon synergy? Anywho, thanks for the reply.

Added
Hi. I just added "Only Nirnhoned" select option when looting Trait Items. Do You want to check it and if so, how can I send You my version of the addon?

Mostly awesome addon, with two major issues.
I would love the option to "keep Kuta & Hakeijo, but delete all other enchanting mats". If this existed, I could check the Considerate Mode box.
As things are, if we do opt for Considerate Mode, we can only take-all enchanting mats or delete-all enchanting mats. Who the heck want's to delete a Kuta? And no way am I opting for Enchanting:Always Loot, then manually deleting all but the two very-rare valuable runes. If I wanted to do chores like that, I'd do them without an addon's help. So for now it's: "Inconsiderate Mode", Auto-Close Loot Window + Smarter Close, Enchanting:Never Loot, and harvest every enchanting node twice, taking only the Kuta. Also, this ghost-box thing is damn-near a deal-breaker. This can easily get you killed in Imperial City, as having a window open disables/repurposes many of your bound keys. It's SUPER problematic. And this is somehow a coding byproduct of trying to prevent PvP containers from auto-looting (which they currently do anyway)? I guess I don't get it... You get the currency-containing containers in your factions sewer base, where there is a bank. At no point do you acquire such a container while you're in a zone where you can potentially lose said currency (apart from depositing/spending it). The precaution seems sort of unnecessary/oxymoronic. _

Re: Mostly awesome addon, with two major issues.
The requirement for enchanting nodes is reasonable, and I'll add a corresponding option in the next update. On another issue, I saw your earlier comment. I've added a secured window closing mech in 4.5.9, which should prevent ghost windows from appearing in any situation I'm aware of. The whole of 4.5.x is centered around fixing ghost windows, and I haven't encountered one in a long time. If you're still experiencing this problem in 4.5.9, that's very strange. I don't do a lot of PvP, but I might find some time to research IC what's so special about the chests/containers there. Wish me luck.

Re: Re: Mostly awesome addon, with two major issues.
I would think my Imperial City routine is pretty standard fare. I just do the daily for each district, cheesing the Cyrodiil/Imperial City queue between districts to get a free port back to my faction's base in the sewer. When all six dailies are done, I turn them all in at once, then open the various containers. I open all the Siegemaster's Coffers first, via double-clicking them in my inventory window, in fairly quick succession. The first Siegemaster's Coffer I open consistently does not generate a ghost window. But each subsequent Coffer (or carry-able container of any kind) consistently does. I then immediately open all of the resulting Light Telvar Satchels in exactly the same way. As mentioned above, all cause the ghost windows. Which I find odd, given that it has a different name and ID String. But perhaps other factors remain consistent, preventing this error from resetting. This pattern holds true even after a /reloadui, btw. I tested this by processing three Siegemaster's Coffers, reloading my UI, then processing the remaining three. As far as I can tell, only the very first container, after logging a character in, does not generate a ghost window. As well, I encounter the same error with Rewards for the Worthy boxes. The very first one, after logging in on a given character, does not generate a ghost window, and every container thereafter does. Maybe this pattern is simply universal, no matter which container-type is being opened. If I had to guess, I'd say this maybe has something to do with: Addons\Lykeion's Much Smarter AutoLoot\General Settings\Auto-Close Loot Window [On] & -Smarter Close [On]. Specifically the latter option. Maybe it causes the addon to treat various carry-able containers the same way it does resource nodes..? There does seem to be a behavioral pattern here. But this is just a guess... Currently I need that latter option turned on because, as I said, I'm not willing to vacuum up all Enchanting garbage I encounter, only to have to manually delete it. At least this way I can just harvest Enchanting nodes twice, in quick succession, and take only the Kuta. Not having Plus is really at the root of this particular issue. As much as miss the convenience of having Plus, I had to opt-out when I realized how blatantly Pay To Win the coming Scribing system is. _
