Re: Re: Little white line.

Only using the combat text atm, until it gets a little more fleshed out in the settings. Loving it so far. Looks fantastic.

One suggestion I would like to see at some point, is an option to un-anchor the buffs so that they can be used on custom frames like ggFrames.

Btw. these lines are the divider between the combat scrolling text and their icons, but If it looks that bad on bigger monitors I may rethink them.
Not sure about bigger monitors, but for me on my 24inch it's distracting. Maybe just put an option in there to disable it in the future?

I set the alpha for them to 0 for now. Looks much cleaner imo. (line 51 & 56 in combatinfo.xml, for those wondering)

Thanks for the addons.

I would make them just transparent and not visible. It dont feels good to see those two lines in the middle of the screen.
Here are both lines:

I know its very insignificant but now i have spotted it the bugger stands out like a saw thumb. i turned off all other addons with just LUI running to make sure it was not another addon.

I play on a 40 inch tv so its quite visible especially in darker zones. Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks again for the addon and fantastic work so far.

Turn off buff display on target, if that dont work then all.
Change text on health, stamina, magicka less transparent.

Thanks for the addon, again! Realy like it and plan to use it further on.
Yes you can. To increase fadeout time, go into combatinfo.lua and near the bottom change the ms values for each of the aspects shown, such as:
Code:
label.settings.animateTime        = 6000
Read the rest of the comments to find out how to remove buff display on target.

You can disable them manually, just look at previous posts.

What would be great is to break out each individual component into seperate .lua files so we could just disable or enable them easily in the .txt file by commenting out which module we want or don't want...Until the settings page comes along.

First: next update coming tomorrow, some bug fixes and more config options inside config.lua file

Fairly certain if you do not set the pin to be shown it will not be shown. I assume chunks of your minimap were derived or copied from ZrMinimap as the code is very similar. Basically it's checking for group members in your zone and setting the control to not be hidden. This leaves the other group pins as hidden.
Thx, I'll have a look into that
After trying to change a early beta-weekend version of zrMM to our needs, I decided to start it from scratch, but yes some code is inspired by zrMM.

Search for
Code:
self:OnTargetInfo()
and remove it ^^

For me I change the label.settings.animateTime to about 1.5x the ms and it is perfect for me to analyze what damage I am doing and what exp I receive from a kill. But others might want something a bit long or shorter.

It’s all there. The config/config.lua file is your place of dreams. There are options to change fonts ( see config/fonts.xml too^^ ), colors, text formatting and much more. With the upcoming update you can even change the animation settings there.
Generally I like the idea of having some more configuration options and I know editing a lua file is bad but the amount of possible options you have there is to high the fit it inside a settings-panel anyway.

Feedback

Hi!

I realy like your addon. The combat feel so much more alive when i use it.
There are some things that would be nice to add:

- settings for scrolling text. Fadeout time, size and maby position.
- the bar need more information added to it. Option to activate.
- change health, stamina and magicka text transparency, add option to add %.
- change size of information bar, a lite small to see the information if you change scale of interface.
- maby option change position of health, stamina and magicka?
- option ingame to show/hide other player buffs and own. Maby option to position them somewhere else?

And ofc! Keep up the good work with this addon!

Maybe I'll add options to disable parts of the addon but thats nothing I'll do in the near future. Fixing bugs is more important at the moment then adding new things.
It will be very nice =)
