Addon Clearer  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 5.8
by: Wobin, CrazyDutchGuy, katkat42
A simple addon that adds two buttons to the Addon setting menu, Unselect All and Select All.

If you have all addons selected, 'Unselect All' will unselect everything.

If you have a subset of addons selected, 'Unselect All' will unselect everything, but save which ones you had set, and change the button to 'Select Saved'

It also mouse activates the labels of the addons, so you can click those to select/deselect

If you select/deselect a single addon, then shift click on another addon further down or up the list, all intervening addons will select/deselect

Basically used to quickly test addon conflicts without having to untick everything.
v5.8 - API 100011; fixed multi-select
v5.7 - Bugfix: shift-clicking an add-on before ever clicking on one threw an error
v5.6 - API 100010
v5.5 - API 100009
v5.4 - API 100008
v5.3 - fix so the add-on correctly identifies itself in the list again
v5.2 - fix to show ReloadUI after unselecting ALL
v5.1 - Don't disable ourselves when selecting/deselecting
v5.0 - Updated for 1.2.3 : Veteran Crypt of Hearts
v4.1 - Increment API version
v4.0 - Made the labels clickable. Included shiftclick to mass de/select addons
v3.1 - REmoved the whole 'shift' key thing. Was too messy, button now changes state depending on the layout of last 'unselect all'
v3.0 - Now stores last session and allows Shift-Restore
v2.1 - Actually linked up the keybinds
v2.0 - Changed select all buttons to use tertiary and adjusted check to avoid unselecting this addon

Not really,

after workign all day, getting stuck 2hours in traffic, i might be a bit more agitated then normal. Nevertheless, spending all evening updating all my own addons, updating the addons of Stormknight, and updating the addons of Wobin i think it is rather disrespectfull to only credit Garkin (which is an amazing helpfull guy and a great asset to the community) and leaving out all the other addon developers that spend their spare time to make sure all players can play with updated addons.

Crazy, you are barking up the wrong tree

I've spend hours on the PTS to make sure my Addon works.

Garkin deserve a special thank you because he invested time in an addon that is not even his own

Thanks Garkin, Works now.

Strange: The "Reload" button was missing at first (also without this Addon) ,but is back now after a Reload.

Edit: Found the Reason ,the Reload UI Button is only visible when something has been changed (ticked)

Well check what is wrong and let me know and I fix it. Else you'll have to wait till I get to it to check it ^^ I'll be going through all addons tonight which is about 12 addons or so. So i hope i get to them all
This issue is caused by Reload UI button change, you will need to anchor your new buttons to the ZO_AddOnsList instead of ZO_AddOnsReloadUIButton.

AddonClearer.xml (changed anchors):
xml Code:
  1. <GuiXml>
  2.    <Controls>
  3.       <TopLevelControl>
  4.          <Controls>
  5.             <Control name="ClearAddonButton" inherits="ZO_DialogButton">
  6.                <Anchor point="TOPLEFT" relativeTo="ZO_AddOnsList" relativePoint="BOTTOMLEFT" offsetY="5" />
  7.                <OnInitialized>
  8.                   self:SetParent(ZO_AddOns)
  9.                   ZO_KeybindButtonTemplate_Setup(self, "ADDONS_CLEAR_ALL", function() AddonClearer:SetAddons(false) end, "Unselect All")
  10.                </OnInitialized>
  11.             </Control>
  12.             <Control name="SelectAddonButton" inherits="ZO_DialogButton">
  13.                <Anchor point="TOP" relativeTo="ZO_AddOnsList" relativePoint="BOTTOM" offsetY="5" />
  14.                <OnInitialized>
  15.                   self:SetParent(ZO_AddOns)
  16.                   ZO_KeybindButtonTemplate_Setup(self, "ADDONS_SELECT_ALL", function() AddonClearer:SetAddons(true) end, "Select All")
  17.                </OnInitialized>
  18.             </Control>
  19.          </Controls>
  20.       </TopLevelControl>
  21.    </Controls>
  22. </GuiXml>

bindings.xml (change UI_SHORTCUT_PRIMARY to UI_SHORTCUT_SECONDARY):
xml Code:
  1. <Bindings>
  2.    <Layer name="Addons">
  3.       <Category>
  4.          <Action name="ADDONS_CLEAR_ALL" hideAction="true" inheritsBindFrom="UI_SHORTCUT_SECONDARY">
  5.             <Down>AddonClearer:SetAddons(false)</Down>
  6.          </Action>
  7.          <Action name="ADDONS_SELECT_ALL" hideAction="true" inheritsBindFrom="UI_SHORTCUT_TERTIARY">
  8.             <Down>AddonClearer:SetAddons(true)</Down>
  9.          </Action>
  10.       </Category>
  11.    </Layer>
  12. </Bindings>

AddonClearer.lua, add one line right after comment on line 39:
Lua Code:
  1. -- Reset the view
  2.     ZO_AddOnManager.isDirty = true      --this line is added
  3.     SCENE_MANAGER:RemoveFragment(ADDONS_FRAGMENT)
  4.     SCENE_MANAGER:AddFragment(ADDONS_FRAGMENT)

Similar but different problem

Woops. Good point.
I had a similar problem. F worked, but E and R did not. Had to click it with mouse.

Only chiming in because maybe it can help you with troubleshooting the problem.

This. But I think you said it's not within the scope of this addon. But if the goal is to make testing conflicts easier, getting back to your original configuration easily is a "must". Thanks for this in its current state though.

I would like an AddOn that allows you to setup different profiles for AddOns. For example there are certain addons I use just for questing, pvp, vendoring/bank/guild store, provision, woodwork, ore farming etc. Having all these addons enabled even with a beast pc can still cause some game performance problems.

Since I have so many AddOns there are some that either conflict with others and/or having all the addons enabled causes game performance issues it would be great to have an AddOn that allows you to create AddOn profiles that you can select and hit reloadui to enable or even better have the addon be able to bind hotkeys for the profiles so you can create macro's for profile 1 & reloadui, profile 2 & reloadui, ect.

Would really love an AddOn with this functionality.
Not really in scope for this addon, don't want to overcomplicate it.

Perhaps post this in the forums as a future idea for a new addon.
