    This addon modifies the GuildChat to include pertinent character information about the guild member speaking

    Currently tracks three things:
    • Guild Rank
    • Level (in square brackets) and Faction (in colour)

    If someone leaves guild while you are talking to him this results in odd chat

    Hm, you're also friends with Devah, no? I have to get around to including friends in LibGuildInfo

    Hm, it shouldn't try to match unless the name had an @ in it. I actually have yet to try talking to someone via their @acccount name when they're not in the guild... I'll put in a filter to see if they even match the guild list, and if not, ignore the processing.

    I have a bug when I am chatting through private messages (talking to their @name and not character name). It shows up as [0][ffffff@Name]: blahblah.


    This person was never in my guild as listed below by someone else.

    Is that for everyone you chat to?
    no, just when they are not in a guild that i am also in, but when on my friends list (using @name). Works fine when talking to a character name.

    This is due to eso changing the way how links are being handled. I'll see if i can put also the character name back in soon.

    It did not work with pNames enabled for me. Tried the workaround selecting only @account in pNames and charname in GuildChat, but the chat looked weird, with a lot of "charname@account" and 0's everywhere, but no colouring at all.

    As soon as I disabled pNames, it worked perfectly for me. I dont mind it that much because I really can see both charname@account with Guild Chat, but I guess it was worth to report.

    I can upload a screenshot later, I dont use any other chat addon besides pchat/pnames.

    The way how pNames create player names/links would lead to invalid links. Besides the functionality that pNames provides is available in GuildChat, so no need to run both of them.
