when I first installed the minimap everything was working fine and I was using the option to hide the compass, but now the compass seems to be always showing again

For me it worked. It shows where I am on the minimap. That is strange that you don't see it.

I was also thinking about adding keybinds to zoom in/out because a slider on the minimap can't be clicked cause you can't move the mouse to such a slider and if you press ESC or Alt the map disappears. But I won't add these for now. The sliders in the settings should be enough and work fine

I loaded the minimap, which is great, but it doesn't show my tag, so even though I'm moving around, I can't "see" where I am. Is it supposed to show that?

Finally getting around to posting this, but I added a change to this mod a few days back to add the ability to change the scale of the MiniMap. My repo for this is at https://bitbucket.org/Endareth/zrminimap, feel free to grab a copy!

There's now an extra slider control in the Settings which lets you adjust the scale. Enjoy!

If I get some more spare time I'll see about either putting the slider straight on the minimap, or add key binds to zoom in/out.

Edit: Just realised that Arpheus also seems to have done the same change and posted about it earlier, ah well, great minds think alike and all that…
Anyways, hopefully Zerorez rolls the change in in next release!

Thanks for making the mini-map. This was something that should have been part of the design by ESO. Anyway, I can't get it to show. This was the first AddOn I added, and the Main menu did recognize that an addon was available since it gave me the Add-On prompt. I selected All Characters and checked Out-Of-Date but nothing happened. I logged out and back in, same thing. Any suggestions as to what I did wrong?

I got this error too. Just ignore it. After you clicked away the errors it works fine and that error won't appear again. At least for me it was that way.

Hey guys. I really like this addon but I needed a way to zoom the minimap. I did some changes to this great addon and want to share it with you until the owner of this addon can add it to his project.

To make zoom possible I changed the file "ZrMM.lua" from his mod. If you want to use the zoom functionality until he hopefully adds it himself you have to first backup the old file (just to be sure) and then replace his file with mine.
You will find the original file in a folder like this:
C:\Users\Username\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\liveeu\AddOns\ZrMM

Replace it with mine and you can use the zoom functionality. There might be an error message one single time but after that it should work fine. If it doesn't for you you can still replace the file with the original one.

To change the zoom you go into the Ingame-Settings of the ZrMiniMap and there is a new Setting "MiniMap Zoom" where you can change the zoom from 100 up to 400%

Btw: I use this addon in the right bottom corner at 400 size and it is simply awesome! In case that someone has problems moving the map simply press escape, then you can drag around the map.

any way to make this like a google map? can resize it by pulling on edges instead of opening options, and zoom in and out with mouse over and wheel? kinda like carboniteaddon for wow.

I move the map with no problem. Have you tried click and drag?

Other than that is this still in active production? I sure hate having to turn it off in Cyrodiil but love having it otherwise.

Please set it so i can move the mini map to the bottom right corner. Great addon though.

Biggest issue with this minimap is that it cannot be used in Cyrodiil for some reason with this add on enabled when you click on the transiatus stone (in north or south high rock gate) you are zoomed into the city map and cannot zoom out to view the entire cyrodiil map to teleport out. Disabiling the addon fixes this issue.

2nd biggest issue is that sometimes it doesn't continuously track where your teammates are (also the teammate ^'s are HUGE in comparison to everything else).

Otherwise for solo PvE this add on is amazing I use it always unless in Cyrodiil. WIsh it would actively show your teammates ^'s moving though would be a nice feature.
