Inventory Insight  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
One Inventory to rule them all!
(Items from banks, house storage, and all of the characters on your account! All in one place.)

What does it do?
  • tracks everything in your characters' Bags, Bank, Guild Banks, CraftBag and Storage Chests
  • tracks items in House(s) (configurable)
  • keeps track of the Gold / AP / Telvar Stones / Writ Vouchers for each character
  • keeps track of the space used/available for each character
  • allows filtering your inventory by item type
  • lets you search the items by name, or by set name
  • adds data to item tooltip showing you where that item is located (all popups/tooltips, or only when over the Inventory Insight window)
  • Tracks information separately between NA and EU

Recently added features:
  • FCO Item Saver integration
  • Guild banks tracking is now separate between world servers
  • Jewelry filter is now on main bar (to match rest of base UI)

Library dependencies: (all are available here at ESOUI)

Backlog:
  • Track multiple accounts: Voodoo might be possible

Where do I send massive qtys of gold or mats (or not so massive)?
We gladly accept donations:
NA: @AssemblerManiac
EU: @manavortex
3.67

- Updated for U41

3.66

- Update to address resizeToFitDescendents warnings

3.65

- Update to address regression for subcategory dropdown
- Removed MRL support

Because of those that do not wish to help find the mod causing the conflict I removed the MRL support. I can't troubleshoot it because I'm not using the same mods as those with the issue. It would have been nice to know which mod was causing the issue. I especially can't without a LibDebugLogger file that was created while they had the issue.

The necrom update has some bugs in it anyway that will do things as simple as break resizing windows. The fixes for some of these issues won't be included until the next incremental or update 39. So removing the MRL code will be helpful so that after the release of Necrom when someone realizes something is broken I won't have to hear people complain about it when the user has the issue because of other mods causing the conflict.

3.64

- Fix for Search inventories from Chat
- Jewellery no longer shows up when filtering armor

3.63

- Added tooltip to Deconstruction assistants

3.62

- Fix for moc with Lazy Set Crafter

3.61

- Update to tooltip localization for weapons

3.56, 3.58, 3.59, 3.60

- Update to address possible mismatching of items from any list of items
- Added nil checks for AGS when data rows are temporarily empty or switching between a guild that has listed items for sale and one that doesn't

The tooltip should be correct now for outdated mouse over controls. Added controls include Furniture Catalogue and CraftStore.

3.55

- Update to address possible mismatching of items when you right click on the UI from other mods like Awesome Guild Store

3.54

- Fix for Honestaly's report that the search box no longer works

- Pre PTS version

3.52

- Fix for IIfA: Search inventories issue that Neverlands reported

3.51

- Update to make the Up and Down arrow buttons for the scroll bar work to scroll the list because previously that was not defined.
- Holding Shift while clicking the Up or Down arrows or while scrolling the mouse will move the list by an increment of 10. Basically a Page Up/Page Down.
- Inventory Insight will no longer display the count for the last item viewed in the main UI for items in the MM window. Meaning if you looked at Acai Berries and had 1000 of them in your craft bag, everything in the MM window had 1000 for the tooltip. This only applied to new views and lists that didn't previously exist.
- You can now right click items to link the MM price from the Inventory Insight window

3.50

- Reworked tooltip font routines for quickc's report
- Updated TLC in xml because of ZOS changes so currency and bag space popup isn't under the Inventory Insight window

Todays update (3.10) corrected (for me) most of the ".... attempt to index a nil value" errors.

I am still seeing occasional ones of these UI errors when laundering related to "DataCollection".

Thanks a lot for your effort and work in fixing these problems

Edit: more info ...
user:/AddOns/IIfA/IIfAEvents.lua:31: attempt to index a nil value
is ok for me at interfaces,
Writ turn in,
Bank Interface,
Guild Interface (posting items for sale)
Trader Interface

Hi

I installed the test addon and it fixed the problem I was having yesterday (not being able to deconstruct items) and made the addon functional again. However I was still getting loads of Lua errors e.g. first daily writ turn in (regardless of which writ was turned in first), moving items in and out of bank, plus a few others. including weird icons appearing next to some armour.

As all of these lua errors listed Inventory Insight AND Trait Buddy I did a complete re-install of both Inventory Insight and Trait Buddy addons, (I used the test addon for Inventory Insight) including deleting the old saved variable files. This seems to have fixed all of the problems I was getting before.

I have encountered listing errors in the Furniture tabs, where furniture stored in house chests are only being listed in the 'All Furniture' and 'Ornamental' tabs. Each of these tabs list all categories of furniture regardless of type with none listed in the other tabs, even though I have items of all types stored. I don't have any crafting stations stored in coffers so was unable to verify that tab's functionality. Also some conservatory and paintings stored in my coffers are listed when 'All Guild Banks' is selected. Also some furniture items stored in Guild Banks are being listed in 'Housing Storage'.

Apart from these minor errors, a huge thanks for restoring most of the practical functionality of this superb addon

Hello there,

I've taken a stab at fixing the exceptions in IIfADataCollection. Here's a test version download. Could you try it out and tell me if it's resolved (or if I added any issues)? I'm currently away from ESO and can't test.

I've gotten this twice today.
I'm using the latest version.
If it happens again I will disable everything except this addon and see if it still happens.

Whoever writes TraitBuddy is going to need to change whatever they're doing to reference our data.

Storage in InventoryInsight has changed a bit. It won't be hard for them to see the difference.

For the time being, I have rolled back to 2.19 (pre Dragon Bones). as a few others have, so that I might have full functionality (minus housing, of course) as before without the errors and without the duplicate non-deleted crafting writ reward containers cluttering the interface.

Take your time and fix these problems, I know you'll eventually get them sorted out.
2nding Bergism's statement including this being on my absolute must-have list for sanity preservation.
I also want to get on the gratitude train here - this addon, even when flaky, has changed how I play for the better. Way less time micromanaging inventories = way more time PLAYING! :-)

CLEAN install of 3.09b

Played for a few hours last night with this addon uninstalled, saved vars deleted. Noticed an update today, clean install and:

Code:
user:/AddOns/IIfA/IIfAEvents.lua:31: attempt to index a nil value
stack traceback:
user:/AddOns/IIfA/IIfAEvents.lua:31: in function 'IIfA:InventorySlotUpdate'
user:/AddOns/IIfA/IIfAEvents.lua:68: in function 'IIfA_InventorySlotUpdate'

on the first crafting writ chest I clicked.

I'm wondering whether the addon accounts for consumables/containers at all? For example, it shows Alchemist Vessels from 4 characters, even when all said vessels were opened/consumed before logging out to character select, and thus do not exist anymore.

Thanks for the continued work on this.

Yeah should have mentioned that I'm already doing that now instead of utilizing the wipe database option, it's not like there are too many options to set again each time I do that. Still wanted to note that that feature isn't working properly.

Yeah I'm getting this error when harvesting survey nodes and also got it when turning in writs.
