What does it do?
  • tracks everything in your characters' Bags, Bank, Guild Banks, CraftBag and Storage Chests
  • tracks items in House(s) (configurable)
  • keeps track of the Gold / AP / Telvar Stones / Writ Vouchers for each character

  • allows filtering your inventory by item type

Because of those that do not wish to help find the mod causing the conflict I removed the MRL support. I can't troubleshoot it because I'm not using the same mods as those with the issue. It would have been nice to know which mod was causing the issue. I especially can't without a LibDebugLogger file that was created while they had the issue.

The necrom update has some bugs in it anyway that will do things as simple as break resizing windows. The fixes for some of these issues won't be included until the next incremental or update 39. So removing the MRL code will be helpful so that after the release of Necrom when someone realizes something is broken I won't have to hear people complain about it when the user has the issue because of other mods causing the conflict.

Hi, I want to start with how good I think this addon is!!! It is one of my TOP addon and I love it! It makes my ESO life as a collector who uses a lot of alts as back packers to store all the useful (or maybe useless ) stuff I have.

But, and I'm not sure if this is a bug or by design, for me it is annoying and kind of nullifies some of the good functionality with Inventory Insight when cleaning the bags after a dungeon run for instance.

It seems that Inventory Insight doesn't equalize two items if they are exactly the same item but with the only difference that one is bound and the other is not. For me as a collector of stuff it doesn't matter if the item is bound or not because we can share the items on all chars anyway so it would have been much better if Inventory Insight would have equalized them and presented both items on the tooltip and as x2 in the Inventory Insight window.

Or atleast have a addon setting to choose that or not.

Same. Especially noticeable with the main bank. Tried deleting savefile.

Hi,
version 3.07 still has a tracking issue.
Tried to nail it down with the /ii debug funktion but this gave me a lua error:

This is the tracking issue
  • Start:
    We have 201 items of „[Seelenstein]“ (|H1:item:33271:31:50:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:36:0:0:0:0:0|h|h)
    in the bagpack - a stack of 200 and a stack of one
    Tooltip tells us that we have 201 items on the char
  • Moving the 1 item stack to the bank
  • Result - Tooltip on the remaining 200 item stack on the char still tells us the char has 201 items
    • The moving results in the following debug output:
      Inv Slot Upd - bag/slot 1/16 x-1, new: False
      saved bag/slot=2/178 [Seelenstein] x1 -> [Seelenstein], loc=Bank
    • The tooltip (shorted) gives this:
      .(table): locations = table: 00000000AC8D8238
      . (table): 10 = table: 0000000107966ED0
      . (string): name = Gabi de Winter
      . (boolean): worn = false
      . (number): itemsFound = 201
      .(string): link = [Seelenstein]
So somehow moving the stack of 1 does not reduce the count in the bagpack.


These actions do not corret the tooltip:
  • Leaving the Bank NPC and opening the inventory
  • Logging out of the char and on to another - Tooltip shows still the count of 201 for the char

These actions do correct the tooltip:
  • Leaving the house
  • Logging in to the char again

Hope this helps to track down the issue.

Neither of us (MV and me) have that reward chest on live or pts, so we can't test it.

Since it is a reward, and the first numbered chest, it might be having ZOS problems. All of our code basically runs through all 8 of the chests, starting with that one, when collecting house storage items.

We'll see if we can find another dev to lend us a hand.

Please try /ii debug, then transfer into/out of the chest, and see what shows up in chat text.
Oh ok, I see. Anyway this happens when I try to retrieve an item (Molag Kena's Pauldron) and then put it back (ofc the first things logged when I open the chest are all the items in every chest in the house except this chest, Storage Coffer, Fortified):

It is possible to implement a sort by set?
The current version can be searched for the set name, but it is not possible to sort by the actual set name.
That would be great functionality to get an overview of where you have the set parts.
In Dryzler's inventory, such functionality is implemented — unfortunately, it does not affect inventory insight.

Inventory Insight is a great addition to ESO - I don't like to miss it anymore.

Although it worked well for a few days, I've been having a lot of problems since. Some of my mule alts won't work at all - if I swap to their tab in II, it shows them as being empty. None of their items show in search of course. I'm starting to wonder if there are certain items that break it, since other characters do work.

There's problems with the bank too. I have a full set of Mech. Acuity in the bank. If I search Mechanical Acuity, it'll show 2 of the 7 items. If I remove them from the bank, then it'll show properly in the search.

Item count and items not recognised

I have an issue whereby some set items are not being detected by the addon and only become detected when I withdraw them from my bank and place them in my inventory. Once I redeposit the items the item count increases (I believe from your post that you are fixing this) giving a false quantity of said items. However it is still not detecting all items in the bank or housing storage containers.

Eagerly awaiting the next update and hope it all comes good. Thanks for your efforts.

Lightbulb Coming soon, to a download near you....

v3.07 should be getting released very, very soon (next 8-10hrs).

Fixes include:
- Live item tracking (move to/from backpack, list should reflect it, including splits)
- Tooltip counts should stay accurate
- No more phantom items
- Shields no longer listed as a weapon
- House item tracking

In general, I think I've finally got all the major bugs out. There were a lot of those little buggers, so my trashcan is full of 'em.
